Hillary’s plea: Save me, white women and Hispanics!
Mark Penn, Hillary Clinton’s chief strategist, has posted their “Path to the Nomination” at the Hillary campaign blog. Her road to the White House will be paved with pandering to white women and Hispanics:
This election will come down to delegates. Votes are still being counted and delegates apportioned, but Hillary Clinton and Barack Obama are separated by approximately 40 delegates right now - that is, barely 1% of all the delegates to the Democratic convention.
Change Begins March 4th. Hillary leads in the three largest, delegate rich states remaining: Texas, Ohio and Pennsylvania. These three states have 492 delegates - 64 percent of the remaining delegates Hillary Clinton needs to win the nomination. According to the latest polls, Hillary leads in Texas (IVR Jan 30-31), Pennsylvania (Franklin & Marshall Jan 8-14) and Ohio (Columbus Dispatch Jan 23-31). After March 4th, over 3000 delegates will be committed, and we project that Hillary Clinton and Barack Obama will be virtually tied with 611 delegates still to be chosen in Pennsylvania and other remaining states. This does not even include Florida and Michigan (where Hillary won 178 delegates), whose votes we believe should be counted.
The reason Hillary is so strong in Ohio, Texas and Pennsylvania is that her message of delivering solutions resonates strongly with voters in those states. Hillary is the only candidate who can deliver the economic change voters want - the only candidate with a real plan and a record of fighting for health care, housing, job creation and protecting Social Security.
The demographics in these states also favor Hillary Clinton. Hillary won among white women by 6 points in Virginia and 18 points in Maryland, and white women make up a much bigger share of the electorate in these states (41% of 2004 Ohio Democratic primary voters, for instance, compared with only 33-35% of 2008 Maryland and Virginia Democratic primary voters). Hillary has also won large majorities among Latinos nationwide - 73% in New York, 67% in California, 68% in New Jersey, 62% in New Mexico, 59% in Florida and 55% in Arizona. Latinos made up 24% of Texas Democratic primary voters in 2004, and may be an even larger share in 2008.
Meanwhile, Hillary hasn’t just found her voice: She’s found the voices of dead people urging her to continue her bid.
And the crack-up continues.

Could this be like the Gore-Bush 2000 standoff to be decided by SC? Would be fun.
To dear H,
As a white woman, it will be 98.6 in he!! before I would vote for you.
L.
Please check out the photo the Houston Chronicle is running today.
I laughed.

She got a great deal of flack over her recent firing of her hispanic campaign manager.
Yeah - but Hitler never smiled(or is that a smirk on her face?)
Can someone please explain to me why Bill Clinton and Al Gore get to cast votes as super delegates???? Kinda seems like a conflict of interest.
Well, while I hate to admit it, I am still a registered Democrat. So sure, Hillary, I’ll vote for you, because I think McCain can beat you but not BO.

It’s not surprising she’s hearing dead people tell her to continue…there are a lot of dead people associated with the Clintons (i.e. Vince Foster, etc).
The Hillary Cackle YouTube Montage
Poor Hillary. You get 10% of the black vote, and the media treats you like you’re a Republican….
The Hillary farts YouTube moment
Raging Republican …
The super delegates are made up of Democratic party officials at the national and state levels, current senators, representatives and governors, and former Presidents and Vice Presidents … so that means that Jimmy Carter is a super delegate also …
As a 52 year old white man with a job, as far as Hillary and her cult is concerned, my function in life is to pay as much taxes as possible until I die so that the less fortunate, can have a better life. Thus, I have never considered for a second, even though I am a registered Democrat, voting for her. If it comes down to McCain or Obama, I am going for the Sailor, because I too served in the Navy and know the difference between serving in the Military and “serving” as an activist.
#3 I let out a big laugh as well. Thanks for posting that link. And dead people telling her to stay in, that was a laugh too! Raging Republican we took a recording of her cackle and looped it for Halloween. We but it to a voice of the witch we had on our porch (we were going to put her face on it but decided in the end we were too chicken) but a few people said “that witch sounds like Hillary Clinton!”.
That’s a good one
Redundant?
She’s still around?
photo in the Houston Chronicle…is that a Freudian slip? Heil Hitlery
That’s the beauty of Arkancide - you can’t testify but you can still vote.

Hillary: “I hear dead liberals”
Coming this fall… The NonSense
What’s the over/under for the first sighting of a “Planche mi camisa” sign at a Hillary rally?
Can you imagine the heads exploding if a Conservative was using race/gender as the primary campaigning tool?
Incredible.
Well, I’m neither, but I’ll do my part in the primary. I’m much less afraid of McCain/Clinton than McCain/Obama.
I think it’s just the opposite Mom. I think that when it’s crunch time, and they’re alone in that ballot box, alot of BO ’supporters’ will be checking the McCain box.
BO = No experience, raised by a radical muslim father (even though he ’says’ he’s now a christian), won’t say the Pledge of Allegience, Ultra-liberal, anti-military, no hard stance on anything (except Anti-war).
Plus, he’s a black quasi-muslim with a middle name Hussein, which, although it isn’t PC, will cost him votes from alot of people, especially senior citizens.
Not only that, but he doesn’t have the same back-room connections and P.R. machine that Hillary would use to hurt McCain with (even more than McCain’s hurting himself with his ‘Calm down’ mantra.)
Of course, alot will depend on who the V.P. Candidates are. I keep hearing rumors of McCain/Romney.
Now, I was sitting here trying to refrain from typing the other Socialist’s name in response to what yt1300inHtown said, because I knew someone would pass through whining about comparing HRC to him.
But, da*n if I wasn’t thinking it too, cpo.
Rolling!
*Pffffffft*
ROTFLMAO
Got to clean the monitor and keyboard off now.
Anybody know what will get this softdrink off of here?
Oooooh! My sides hurt! Stop! Please! ROFLMAO
Can we have a vote to replace whenever needed a picture of say some hottie instead of looking at Hillary? she makes my eyes bleed.
I would tend to agree, AJ. But, I really liked that one in the Houston Chronicle.
and the funny thing about that one barry is she practiced the pose in the mirror for 3 hours.
Since Hillary was willing to play the guilt by association game by saying Obama was essentially a slumlord because he did legal work for Thomas Rezko, then I think it is only fair to do the same to Mark Penn, Hillary’s campaign director. Mr. Penn is the CEO of the public relations agency Burston-Marseller. And one of Burston-Marseller’s biggest clients is Countrywide. Now we hear Hillary bashing banks and lenders on a nonstop basis but she never mentions the word “Countrywide”. Nor does Mr. Penn mention his prize client and Countrywide is at the center of the whole subprime mess. So I think it is fair to ask Mr. Penn: “Do you think that Countrywide has in any way taken advantage of poor people or non English speaking people and stuck them with bad loans with prepayment penalties so they can’t get out of these bad loans”? I would like to hear his answer. I would like to see one member of the MSM say to Hillary: “Do you think you can take on the banks when your campaign manager, one Mark Penn, is carrying water for Countrywide?”. Now of course she will never be asked that question. But since the Clintons like to tar their opponents and since th Clintons are always playing the guilt by association game, then it is only fair to do the same to the Clintons.
hey, michelle’s on fox news with gibby.
Watching Michelle up on The Big Story right now opposite Kirsten Powers.
Go, Michelle!
AJ, is it just me or does Kirsten look unusually pale talking about HRC being behind there on The Big Story?
the past year has brought my approval rating of KP down to 22%.
barry, I wish KP would realize that she’s on the wrong team.
lol, deep down I think she does.
For the most part, I like Kirsten Powers.
Granted, she is s Democrat and cheers for the wrong side, IMHO. But, at least, she tends to do it in a professional way, compared to some of those others that foam at the mouth when up against a formidable opponent, like Michelle.
By the way, Michelle, where was the heads up for us that you were going to be on with Gibson this evening?
I just happened to luck up and have it on. Good think I made my son watch his show on the other television.
yeah, a lil, but she isnt in Cal, where we keep the george hamilton tan year round.
Today Hillary claimed to be about solutions. WHAT HAS HILLARY SOLVED other than how to go from the leader to the runner-up in a primary?
Obama is no better. He talks and talks and talks and talks. He says nothing. Would somebody get him to explain what he will do on all the important issues we face?
“Can someone please explain to me why Bill Clinton and Al Gore get to cast votes as super delegates???? Kinda seems like a conflict of interest.”
I would respond by asking why the RNC does not have “super delegates”? It should be fascinating to watch what happens in Denver. Will the Clintonistas risk a riot in downtown Denver by pushing their way, via super delegates? Stand back, and watch them eat their own.
I could be wrong but I bet their votes will cancel one another out anyhow.
Anybody seen that new desperate campaign ad of HRC’s running in Wisconsin whining about Obama not accepting the challenge for a debate?
Could it be a sign of a campaign low on cash and desperate for exposure? I don’t know how long she could pay for hte ad to run but it is getting a lot of free play for her on the cable news outlets.
C’mon folks; does anyone think that Hillary could possibly lose? That’s why she sewed up the superdelegates months ago - in case Obama didn’t read the script and tried to make a fight of the nomination.
Our reptilesbian overlordess has this election so sewn up she could nominate
Cthulhu for VP and still win.

…the Zero.
It’s kinda like Up With People–but without all the production value.
I heard Rasmussen talking about this on the radio this morning. She got a majority of the “older” white female vote…I hasten to add what he left out…the older, stupid, and un/ill-informed white woman vote. (Just a joke, trying to be funny here!)
Seriously though, HOW could anyone with a knowlegde of history, and a modicum of intelligence ever give this socialist their vote? I guess it’s a question that will never have a logical answer.
Haven’t seen it, but it tells me volumes about “the woman who would be King,” and her inability to convince a powerful man to sit down and talk issues. Didn’t she make the claim of being able to “talk” to our enemies, and solve our differences without bloodshed? Humph! Maybe if she added some “tears” he would come all apart and agree to re-hash all the previous debate topics.
Yawn….
Geena Davis stunk up the place playing the first female President of the United States, Mackenzie Allen. Perhaps Hollywood scared us straight much to Hillary’s dismay.
What does anyone actually see in Hillary anyway? I just can’t figure out why anyone would vote for her.
And the way she pulls out all this race and gender crap is so obviously desperate and annoying. Doesn’t anyone else see through this?
The way the Dems elect their Dem candidate is so questionable though - the whole superdelegate thing. I can’t help but wonder how “fixed” that is.
What a world. What a world!.
*gag*
Up In Smoke?
Nah. Wouldn’t want to knock Cheech & Chong that way.
Two JDs please…
…and that’s BOTTLES!!!
Of course it is ridiculous and forced and phony. Everyone sees through it. Even the Democrats do. That’s the point. She is like a plane with no engine. All that keeps her going is inertia and that is running out. I could start a long scholarly piece on the parallels between Hillary’s campaign and a certain religious political community that believes in legitimacy through conquest but what the hell. Let’s just enjoy the Schandenfreude.
Personally I hope that we get away from advertising driven Primary beauty contests and back to professional politicians choosing adults in a smoke filled room. For that matter I believe in the Electoral College. Republican representative democracy works. Popular passions and direct appeals do have their place at the local level.
Texas has lots of military and that includes Hispanics and Women. There is what 4 - 5 bases just in San Antonio alone. The South part of Texas is supposed to go for Hillary Clinton. The Military knows that the Clintons are Hostile toward them. Right now Code Pink is calling Marines - Bush’s Death Pimps…they know that Senator Clinton has not made any statement in support of the military, she would be leading if she was elected President…the silence by the Presidential Canidates, on the Marine situation in Berkeley is deafening. The Democrats don’t want to offend Code Pink so by saying nothing in support of the Marines, they offend every reasonable American in the Country. I don’t know why McCain and Huckabee, have been quiet on the subject?
We should be rooting for Hillary over Obama. She will be a better target and worst case she is to the right of BHO.

I saw Hillary through the day she supported her lying and cheating husband. That told me that Hillary is also about lying and cheating. Rest is all a facade for votes and White House. Americans would be stupid to vote this lying and cheating fake!
Then again, Americans voted for Bush, Twice!
There was an article on cnn about how some Democrats are concerned that if the superdelegates decide the candidacy over the popular vote in their primaries it will turn a lot of people off of voting and the Democratic party. That could work for the Republicans actually in the election and it could make Clinton look even worse than she already does (is that possible?)
Okay, I have been a little busy and I admit I did not read the whole thing but I wonder if the voices of the dead people she hears and Edwards channels are the same ones that so often vote democrat?
Just a thought.
Obviously we’ve learned that predictions this year are impossible. However, I think I heard it on Hewitt’s show, someone who brought up the point that if it’s Obama vs McCain, people are going to look at the young, vibrant idealist vs the old, bitter insider and vote for Obama. Of course, there is no substance behine his style, but since when has that stopped people from voting for someone? However, I think in the end, very few people want a Clinton in the White House again, even if they’ll only admit it when they’re alone in the ballot booth.
Lots of women I know who are stay-at-home Moms tell me they think Hillary is wonderful because she is going to provide everyone with cheap healthcare. They have no clue to her past: the lying, cheating, power-hungry antics of a born and bred socialist. When I mention that Hillary’s first job out of law school was interning with a major Communist in California, I am called a liar. And don’t even get me started on what they say when I tell them of her scandalous behavior on behalf of the ACLU while at Yale! They have been sold on her via daytime TV and evening news. Better wake up and really smell the coffee–this woman is very, very scary!
