I don’t care about the color of his skin, but his racist remarks and the fact that he is in a position of power is what irks me. If critising, without racial slurs, a politicians actions makes me a racist because of the color of their skin, then those making the accusations need to look into the mirror to see that the shadow of the kkk, or the black panther party isn’t smiling in agreement with them.

On a serious note-the day I saw law abiding citizens having their constitutional rights violated by the police based on an order from a mayor-that became the day when I realized that our founding fathers had more foresight when they gave us a Republic and will never forget an elderly woman being body slammed by a cop when they asked to see here gun and she presented it in a non-threatening manner.

Mayor nagin, his hack of a police chief, and pols like him are the reasons why I will never give up my weapons irregardless what h/she says. The only thing nagin is missing is a white robe because his racist rhetoric is nearly identical to what was being promoted in the early 20th century.

Angry, and indignant about this man? You bet, and I will not shed a tear if he isn’t reelected or becomes “bubba’s” wench in prison.

There is absolutely no execuse for violating the US Constitution that nagin flagrantly committed. If there was ever a legitimate case for a federal civil rights violation-this would be it. There comes a time when even the shepherd has to take up arms and defend the flock.
