Of course,

Under a bipartisan agreement, the House was not to come into session until after the Tom Lantos memorial service. But the service ran long, and the session was gavelled in anyway.

hasn’t yet penetrated the dark corridors of the unhinged left, and probably never will.

It’s time for someone like Michelle to address a mandatory joint session of the Congress. If I were to be the one, my first words would be:

Mr. Sergeant at Arms, lock the doors and shut off the cameras and microphones. No one leaves. On behalf of the American people, I am about to get really ugly to this Congress, and I don’t want viewers to be offended.”

Then I will ask whether they have passed a budget — 6 months into the fiscal year. You get the idea.

Come to think of it, perhaps this will be my next column….

With the world in such a volatile situation these days, I turned to Congress for assurance. I see Lantos, Meirs, Bolten, a held spy bill, rebates and Roger Clemens. I go to work today, knowing the country is, once again, safe for democracy.

The dems use a dead man as a shield to attempt to cut off debate. From the use of children as human shields to the recently departed. Marvelous. We should not be surprised, though, since they are the party that the deceased consistently cast their votes for in elections around the Country. Ansell, yes…a role model and hero. We’ve now kids shooting kids in our schools, almost every week. Another fifteen at Illinois University. We never had anything close to that when I was in school/college and we had guns of our own! This is the fault of the liberals and their liberal policies. The Democrats and their supporters. They can’t even act right on the floor of Congress. Well, liberals…you’ve accomplished your goal. You’ve now corrupted our youth, and now they are shooting up our schools, doing sex shows and anti-American protests. You can’t even do a memorial service without disruptions. This is the society that you’ve created. Is this what you wanted? Kids getting shot in schools? Tearing down marriage? Illegimate kids from our youth? You all are despicable; yet you carry on like it’s all okay. You’ve made us all victims for your political gain. You’ve destroyed most everything that made us great. And, you come out to the podiums and tell us how you are all going to make it all better, with your entitlements! Look at you all and your actions in Congress! You’re worse than despicable; you’re downright evil. (not a sermon, just a thought)
