Well, it’s Valentine’s Day once more–and the Religion of Perpetual Outrage is at it again. Around the world, Muslim leaders are working hard to stamp out deadly “Western values” spread by the holiday. Such as men and women hugging each other. This terrorism must be stopped!
In Indonesia:
The Bukittinggi municipal administration has banned residents from celebrating Valentine’s Day, on Thursday, on the grounds the occasion is not in line with Minangkabau traditions or Islam.
“The Valentine’s Day celebration is not our culture as it usually relates closely to immoral acts where, during the celebration, young couples tend to hug and even kiss each other. This is an immoral act, right?” Bukittinggi Deputy Mayor Ismet Amzis told The Jakarta Post on Wednesday.
A similar prohibition was implemented by the administration on cafes, restaurants, hotels and other tourist sites planning to hold Valentine’s Day celebrations.
The administration said it would enforce existing regional regulations on “immoral act eradication” and take companies that celebrated the day to court.
A number of permits already issued for Valentine’s Day activities have also been revoked.
Bukittinggi Mayor Djufri told a press conference earlier that his administration would shut down a number of tourist sites known to attract visitor’s on Valentine’s Day, including Jam Gadang, and some cafes.
Djufri urged parents in Bukittinggi not to let their sons and daughters go out Thursday night.
In order to replace Valentine Day’s parties, the Bukittinggi administration urged schools to drive their students to mosques or prayer rooms Thursday night to hear religious sermons “for the sake of improving their morality.”
Saudi Arabia’s religious police have banned red roses ahead of Valentine’s Day, forcing couples in the conservative Muslim nation to think of new ways to show their love.
The Commission for the Promotion of Virtue and Prevention of Vice has ordered florists and gift shop owners in the capital Riyadh to remove any items colored scarlet, which is widely seen as symbolizing love, newspapers said.
“They visited us last night,” the Saudi Gazette quoted an unidentified florist as saying.
It is not unusual for the Saudi vice squad to clamp down ahead of Valentine’s Day, which it sees as encouraging relations between men and women outside of wedlock, the newspaper said.
And in Kuwait:
Islamist MPs said yesterday they will study the possibility of amending existing laws in a bid to ban the celebrations of “alien events” like the Valentine’s Day. Head of the Assembly committee monitoring practices alien to Kuwaiti society MP Waleed Al-Tabtabae said after the committee met government authorities that “we informed them we will come up with the necessary amendment”.
The committee met with representatives from the ministries of interior, information and commerce and industry to study measures necessary to prevent Valentine’s Day celebrations that contradict Islamic teachings and values. He said the ministries promised to take all measures necessary to prevent any indecent celebrations and practices and any immoral behaviors that may happen on Valentine’s Day today. The measures will include monitoring hotels, restaurants and shops that sell Valentine’s Day items to make sure there are no violations of the law.
Tabtabae however said that the representatives told MPs that there are some legal loopholes and “we told them we will study proposing amendments” to ban such alien celebrations. Committee rapporteur MP Jamaan Al-Harbash said the proposed amendment will ban all practices that violate Islamic sharia law which includes marking Valentine’s Day.
A number of Islamist MPs meanwhile described Valentine’s Day as a Western tradition that is not compatible with Kuwaiti values and contradicts sharia. Some of them however said they were particular about the immoral practices and the concept of the celebrations which encourages out-of-wedlock relationships. The head of the Islamic Sharia College at Kuwait University, Mohammad Al-Tabtabae, issued a fatwa stipulating that the feast is banned under Islam.
If you are one of those people who always passed on Valentine’s Day because it was too tacky or over-commercialized, you now have good reason to celebrate.
Buy some red roses, candy, and a cheesy greeting card: Strike a blow against sharia.

I would love to see Islam carry through on this in full depth. It would mean the end of Islam once and for all.
One of the roots of the Valentine’s day tradition is the actions of Saint Valentine of Rome. The emperor of Rome had actually banned marriages, including annulling existing marriages according to this article, because he was having trouble recruiting soldiers. Saint Valentine refused to obey the decree and continued marrying couples. When Claudius discovered this, he had Valentine put to death. According to tradition, while he was imprisoned prior to his execution, he sent love notes to those he cared about.
In short, Valentine’s day is a celebration of marriage. So go ahead you followers of an evil “religion”, ban marriage (and sex and children) because marriage is not “part of your tradition!” The world doesn’t need any more children brainwashed by your evil!
How to have a Happy Valentine’s Day–Muslim-style.

When I took my marriage vows, we pledge to love one another in sickness and health, forsaking all others, until parted by natural death. I vowed to be “obedient” to him as the Church is to Christ, and he vowed to love me as himself and as Christ loves the Church and sacrificed Himself for Her.
I couldn’t imagine anyone loving me with the same devotion as my husband. I know there are other men of different faiths who are also fabulous husbands.

My wife and I don’t celebrate Valetines Day, we don’t buy cards, flowers, chocolates or anything for one another. We buy and do things for each other at different times of the year to show our love for each other, you know the just because I love you gifts, but this year she is getting a rose, card and dinner and I think I’ll bake her a Chocolate heart cake. She will be mad at me until I tell her why I did it and then I’ll get a big hug and kiss.

Many, many years ago I dated a Tree Hugging Hippie Chick. Two days before St. Valentines Day I caught her cheating on me. I was furious and decided to get revenge. So on Valentines Day I packed up my things, put the dog in the truck and before leaving I carved a heart with our initials in it on a large oak tree in the front yard.
You could have fried an egg on her forehead she was so mad. It was one of the best Valentines Days I ever had.
No romance, no bacon, no alcohol, no music, no fun. No wonder people have to be forced by violence to remain in Islam.
My Indonesian wife got flowers and a teddy bear, which thrilled her. Good thing she’s here and not there.
So I see the “religion of peace” has outlawed love and harmony. Figures. We, Western terrorists, need to be stopped! Let the moslems spend their time properly…get out there and kill some infidels.

It actually means “submission” - as in, submit to the abusive and oppressive laws of Islam and you might be lucky enough to live until a homicide bomber blows up your marketplace.
But, as we all know, the following are forbidden under Islam:
- converting to another religion
- expressing another religious faith publicly
- going out in public uncovered (read: any skin showing)
- celebrating “Western” holidays
- depicting Mohammed
- pointing out that Islam is violent
- driving (if you’re a woman)
- voting (if you’re a woman)
- seeing a doctor (if you’re a woman)
- working (if you’re a woman)
- selling ice or falafel
- wearing nail polish
- being homosexual
- being with a member of the opposite sex
- refusing an arranged marriage
- getting divorced from an abusive husband (if you’re a woman)
and the list could go on.
The “beauty” of shari’a law is that it’s relative (just like liberals think morals are relative). Shari’a law is selectively applied.
Which is why it’s wrong to celebrate St. Valentine’s Day, but perfectly okay for someone to “marry” an infant and have sex with a 9-year-old girl.

Bear in mind this was, at one time, St. Valentine’s Day. It’s not so much an attack on commercial Western culture as it’s open disdain for Christianity in general.
I say we change it from Valentine’s Day to “Show People You CAIR” day.

Happy Saint Valentine’s Day to everyone! There will not be much hugging or kissing in this house today until I am completely over this flu virus. Today is not half as important to Mrs. Boomer and I we were foolish enough to tie the knot on 25 February and that is our most romantic day of the year. This year the poor woman has put up with me for 25 years not a simple feat.
For you healthy people out there enjoy this day and your loved ones! At least I know my wife and I will never submit!

Quite striking how the islamofascists rail against Valentines Day (among many other things) saying how it is alien to sharia and islam and is a corruptive Western influence. On the other hand here in the West the majority of our media, the Dhimmicrat party and most of academia wants us to conform to and accept sharia/islam as if it is native to our culture. Should we not consider sharia law/islam to be corruptive to our culture? I was not aware of nor informed of that beheadings, honor killings and just plain mayhem over the slightest perceived insult are endemic to my homeland. Just when did it?

I went into Berkeley High School yesterday and on my way past the Principal’s office i stopped dead in my tracks.
On the walls as you enter were 5 DOMINATINGLY HUGE lithographs of so-called Palestinian faces(Hashemites, Mallacites, Phillistines??).
One of them was of a woman with her head cloaked in black with just the eyes and eyebrows showing. It looked like a terrorist training jpeg.
The other four were similar. But this one was positioned so it is filling the frame of the window in the door. So it is all u see when u enter.
I am writing to the schoolboard to have these relocated to somewhere less prominent and intentionally dominant.
As many kids walk thru that hall it presents Islamic jihad figures as though they are normal fixtures of life here…which they are not.

Well, NavyW, the closest you’ll usually hear to “wrong” these days is the more politically correct term “inappropiate”. It’s use is pervasive.
I think using “inappropiate” when “wrong” should be used instead is wrong.
