I don’t find many words offensive or gross simply because after all…they are just words, but that word in particular I find particularly repugnant. And I’m a guy.

To have a gaggle of so-called “Feminists” sitting around on a morning TV talk show and to just blurp out that repugnant word while Jr. and Sissy are eating their Alpha Bits and getting ready for school is just beyond the pale.

If they don’t get fined beyond recognition by the FCC then you know for sure that there most definately is bias when it comes to certain shows and subjects and hosts.

I do think the Cheney example is at least a little OT. Two places (morning network TV, Senate floor) where such language is uncalled for.

Now, arresting our President or VP (Cheney being the link between your question and mine) on home soil, I can get worked up about that. Talk about making our enemies happy.

Our three kids are in their 20s now (and, yep, they grow fast! – one day they’re just getting out of diapers…then, when you turn around, they’re just getting out of high school…or college…or grad school!), and my wife and I don’t remember having to keep an eye on daytime, 7pm, 8pm, heck, even 10pm “offerings” to make sure they would not be exposed to stuff that was inappropriate for them.

Your comments illustrate why I’ve said before that I am tired of hearing the “just live and let live” or “just change the channel” horse manure lines of the leftists/secularists.

The fact is, they do NOT let us live.
And, you can’t avoid the filth just by changing the channel.

Our popular so-called “culture” is not a values-neutral, “tune-outtable” thing that is just harmlessly hanging around, just for those who seek it.

It is, rather, an all-surrounding, pervasive sickness that permeates seemingly all of society, and that thrusts itself upon our kids (unless one lives under a rock, or in Antarctica away from a research station); and that not only fails to help us raise our kids, but actively fights against us.
