Cartoon riots, part deux; Update: Thousands of Hamas jihadis pile on; Rage Boy returns

The “youths” are baaaack. In Denmark, 17 “youths” were arrested for rioting over the re-publication of the Mohammed Cartoons. A photographer for the Jyllands-Posten, the brave paper that published the cartoons two years ago and re-printed them again this week after the arrest of jihadi plotters who targeted one of the cartoonists for murder, was injured:
Bands of youths set fire to cars and trash bins overnight in a fourth consecutive night of vandalism mostly in immigrant neighborhoods of the Danish capital, police said.
Seventeen people were arrested, Copenhagen Police spokesman Flemming Steen Munch said, adding police were not sure what sparked the violence.
Some observers said immigrant youths were protesting against perceived police harassment and suggested the reprinting of a cartoon of the Prophet Muhammad in Danish newspapers Wednesday, may have aggravated the situation.
“They feel provocations and discrimination by the police that stop then now and then to check them,” Copenhagen social worker Khalid Al-Subeihi said. “It doesn’t make it easier when the cartoons come back again.”
The youths set dozens of fires in several districts of Copenhagen, torching cars and trash bins and in some cases hurling rocks at police.

Thousands of supporters of the Islamist group Hamas protested in the Gaza Strip on Friday against the reprinting of a cartoon of the Prophet Mohammad that sparked Muslim outrage two years ago.
Hamas, which controls the coastal Palestinian territory, demanded that the Danish cartoonist be brought to trial and that an official apology be made to Muslims. It urged an end to what it called organized campaigns to spread hatred of Islam.
“We are all a sacrifice to the Prophet Mohammad, our blood, our property and our families are all a sacrifice to him,” a Hamas activist shouted through a loudspeaker after Friday prayers in the Jabalya refugee camp in the northern Gaza Strip.
Danish newspapers said they reprinted a cartoon showing the Prophet with a bomb in his turban in protest over a plot to murder the cartoonist. The original drawing published in September 2005 sparked criticism and riots in the Muslim world.
At least 4,000 Hamas supporters took part in the rally on Friday, many waving green Hamas flags and others holding banners condemning the cartoons and urging Muslims to take action against Denmark.
“Muslims must not be silent against these cartoons which are offensive to the great Prophet Mohammad,” one banner read.
The Mo Cartoons are a pretext, of course. Just as they were the first time around. We’ll need to look deeper. If you’ll recall, Iran was attempting to bully Denmark over the International Atomic Energy Agency’s decision to report Iran to the UN Security Council for continuing with its nuclear research program at the time the first cartoon riots spread.

Thank you for putting “youths” in quotations marks. God forbid that our MSM come right out and call them what they are… you know Muslims. No quotations needed. According to the politically correct this is just another act of “anti-Muslim” behavior.
It amazes me the level of outrage towards something on paper or a teddy bear etc etc etc, get these idiots panties in a twist and the cruel treatment of woman in they’re culture goes as acceptable behavior.

This won’t go on forever.
It will come to a major confrontation sooner or later, and that confrontation will start the real war. The current war with Iraq is just a border skirmish compared to what’s coming (IMHO).
A ‘religion’ that allows the sodomizing of 9 year-old girls, decapitation and torture of prisoners (the real kind of torture, not ‘waterboarding’), the mutilition of their daughters, and stoning/beating of their women (among other things) can’t co-exist in the modern world with other civilizations.
They know this, which is why they’re trying to convert-by-coercion the rest of the world.
Eventually we’ll see more polarizing acts and events, and more people taking sides. (although some in America have already chosen the side of the Muslim Terrorists, I think we’ll remember who those people are when the times comes.)
The time of the fence sitters will end with the coming of these events. 9/11 got the ball rolling, but some people are just thick-headed I guess (ie. libs)
I say “lets make a deal” we get out of their countrys and they get out of ours. No exceptions.

To me the interesting story in all of this is the tolerance of the liberals, not the intolerance of the Islamofascists. I cannot comprehend how multiculturalists can turn a blind eye to all this and claim that “we” have to respect the culture of these murderous, racist, sexist nuts. They call conservatives bigots and fascists for opposing gay marriage, yet their moral superiority dries up when confronted with a culture that stones homosexuals.

The problem is that a lot of people just plain don’t care. They won’t care until it is right on their doorstep and after several attempts at appeasement. You can see it now in England and other parts of Europe. They may see the threat but hope that the liberal “let’s be nice” policy will work. It’s the same here. Be nice to them and they will be nice back if they object to anything. Besides, people are too busy with their own lives here to care. Get the government to care. In the end, all the finger-pointing and criticism won’t work. They will not only be in our front yard, at the door, but coming inside too. Out of sight, out of mind.
Most kids are impressionable and stupid whether they live here or where ever.

I was watching the news clips yesterday of terrorist Imad Mughniyeh’s funeral in Beruit and couldn’t help but think that someone should drop a bomb on the funeral, because all of his terrorist buddies are right there. AJ, I think you miss something here. It isn’t that we’re over there – it’s that we exist at all as a free people. Remember, they are looking for a world-wide caliphate. Us leaving from “over there” will be seen by them as another victory, and they will continue to send loyal foot soldiers over here until we either destroy them or they destroy us.

I have a reader of my blog who is Danish, and he told me these “youths”, i.e. Muslims, often rape a woman who is not dressed in a burkha, and tell her she “asked for it”. They are never identified publicly as being Muslim. How long before it happens on the streets of America? Or maybe it already does in Dearborn, MI? So long as their outrageous behavior is ignored by the drive-by media, the more they are encouraged to act, and produce more riots and fires. Ask the folks in Paris!

Yep.
Saying that the liberal will generally choose submission is like saying that things generally fall DOWN when you let go of them.
Europe became reliant totally on the US for its safety. We squared off against the USSR but the stand-off was for the most part peaceful (at least overtly).
Same principle applies to those who live off the government dole; You stop caring about providing for yourself as long as the welfare check keeps coming. When it stops, you only know how to complain, not how to solve the problem.
I doubt if the european countries could even mount much of a defense against a determined enemy. If Islam goes all-out in Europe, just wave b-bye.

It was the “fish in a barrel” myth, and they showed that you could essentially liquefy the barrel, the fish within it, and pretty much the water too. To say it was impressive doesn’t even come close. Adam, of course, was giggling like a schoolgirl as he held the trigger down. I probably would be, too.

I’m not quite sure what to make of this. I’m not a fan of cartoons that make of fun of someone’s key figures in religion, but then again, this time it was done as a protest. It’s hard to feel sorry for them after what they did yesterday .
Many Muslims just don’t seem to get it. These cartoons will be around forever now, not because of the newspaper, but because of the Muslim reaction.
For humor to work, it has to be based on truth.
The violent reaction to the cartoons shows how truthful they are.

The 3 are perceived to occur together for a variety of reasons (which I got into in another thread) that include:
1) Republican atheists unwilling to “come out” because of the implications.
2) “Atheists” that are only atheist because it is the hip and liberal thing to do.
3) Liberals (and those liberals that are atheists) tend to be annoying, loud, and get a lot of press.
Atheists do not believe in an afterlife, this life is all they have.
Several:
1) Cultural conformity (the least “noble” of reasons, but still a reason).
2) Morality and self-respect.
3) The need to accomplish something and “make something of yourself,” that is to aspire to “something better.”
One can believe that this life is all they have and NOT desire to bury themselves in p*ssy and drugs because its fun. There are a lot of things in life that are much more fulfilling with or without an afterlife. If one thinks otherwise, maybe that person should question why they NEED the idea of an afterlife to encourage them to lead a fulfilling and moral life.

Just saw a news story on Foxnews.com (with video) about these terrorists burning prisoners alive. And we are supposed to treat these people with “rights” when I see this? These people can’t become POWs. They are thugs that need to be shot.
