“Blow up the Danish embassies and kill the ambassadors”
Iran and its bloodthirsty minions are ramping up the pretextual Mo Cartoon outrage. While Iranian lawmakers call for cutting off trade and political ties to Denmark and Netherlands over republication of the Mohammed Cartoons, jihadis are wielding their machetes again:
In a letter to President Mahmoud Ahmadinejad, some 215 lawmakers of Iran’s 290-seat assembly said Iran should review trade and political links with Denmark and the Netherlands to respond to “an anti-Islamic and Islamophobic current” in Holland and Denmark.
“We, representatives of the honorable Iranian nation, condemn this devil measure. We ask the president … to seriously review Iran’s political and trade ties with these countries,” the lawmakers said in the letter.
In the Gaza Strip, controlled by the Palestinian Islamist group Hamas, a leader of a militants’ umbrella group called on Muslim faithful to attack Danish embassies and diplomats.
“Blow up the Danish embassies and kill the ambassadors,” Abu Abir, spokesman for the Popular Resistance Committees (PRC), said at an open-air news conference in a Gaza square, where PRC members burnt a Danish flag.
“We urge (Islamist fighters) to track down those who printed the cartoons, those who drew them and those who published them and slaughter them immediately,” he said.
Danish police arrested two Tunisians and a Dane of Moroccan descent last Tuesday, accusing them of planning to kill a cartoonist who drew one of the images.Dozens of Islamist students burned the Danish flag in southern Pakistan on Thursday, while in Kuwait, several parliamentarians called for a boycott of Danish goods.
Since they’ve renewed their boycott threats, it’s time to renew the “Buy Danish” campaign and start one in support of the Netherlands again. Sammenhold.

It’s the eighth night of rioting in Denmark by The Yoots. Jim Hoft has video. Lawhawk underscores the pretextual nature of the stage-managed cartoon riots.

The ROPO is at it again. The Iranian assembly sounds like the mother in the movie “The Water Boy.” Everything is the “devil.”
…and the liberals think if we just talk to them and hug them that they will either like us or leave us alone.
Neither will ever happen.
I suppose it would be tacky to order 100 lbs of Danish bacon and send it to the local ‘youths’.
What a strange cult of anger, despair and false promises - all to get some power for a few would be leaders.
Ding, ding, ding. A prize to the Iranian Assembly for the first-ever use of those three words in the same sentence.
Ah, the irony. A cartoon president is pissed at the publication of cartoons.
The sleepy western powers yawn thinking just another burp in news. The MSM, always eager to help western democracy(/s), doesn’t give it the time of day. Many throats will be slit and heads removed before the powers that be wake up…but by then it may be too late.
Who the heck told them they are honorable? They blew that one when they stormed our embassy in Tehran on 4 Nov 79. Since then they have not only been at war with us, but the entire civilized world. When will someone grow a pair and take these madmen from the dark ages out. I will do what little I can to support the Danes and Netherlanders that have the stones to tell the uneducated masses of Islam we will not submit! Too bad we don’t have a Government with this type of iron in its backbone.
The best way to support a country is, if possible, to visit it. Not only does it support their economy but you get enjoyment out of it too.

Oh, and not forgetting the Netherlands: http://us.holland.com/
Personally I have been there and can strongly recommend it for a holiday. I have rarely seen such picturesque towns and villages. The people are very friendly too.
There is no excuse for Iran behaving in this childish way. The reason they are doing it, almost certainly, is to distract the public in Iran from its crummy economy and corruption.
Nearly as childish were calls in the US to boycott France because they declined to participate in our invasion of Iraq. In retrospect, the French were right. But we still serve “freedom fries”.
I am all for the Danish speaking their minds, however; I do not believe they have the military structure to defend themselves when the Muslims start attacking them. If someone actually blows up the Danish Embassy I am curious as to what they will do about it. I am guessing….Nothing. That is what the French and the Spaniards have done.
Some BIG differences–we don’t call for throats to be cut, heads chopped off, and buildings to be blown up.

Netherlands:
Brabantia - housewares, laundrycare, etc. http://www.brabantia.com - Found at retail outlets like Lowes’s & Home Depot, Linens-N-Things.
There are others, but some I don’t like so I’m not going to mention them. This one I like.
It all goes back to evil America, doesn’t it LGM?
Please, don’t feed the trolls…It’s too early in the week. Besides, I refuse to have a battle of wits with an unarmed opponent.
The most horrible part of this world war is yet to come - pitting the entire World of Islam against Western Civilization.
We’ve only seen the beginning.
I’m with Professor Walter Williams - while sitting in for Rush one day he opined that every Muslim soldier or terrorist or jihadist, or whatever you want to call them, who is killed in battle by our troops should be buried with a pig.
I concur.
Shariah is absolutely the end of the world and the end of humanity. Better to die fighting than to submit to the head-slicers.
Didn’t Barry Goldwater say “extremism in defense of liberty is no vice”, or words to that effect?
Yep.
Okay. I am sorry but, didn’t they learn the first time? My goodness. What made anybody think this would go over well the second time around?
I may get hate posts for this but:
Stupid is as stupid does.

Yep.
As I said last week, I believe tens of millions, if not hundreds of millions, may have to be killed before this business ends, and the barbarians are hunted down and exterminated.
And, we WILL be victorious.
I wish the American Media, all of them, would re-print those pictures. What could it hurt? It would be pretty hard to track down 50,000 newspaper editors, and Iran already hates America anyway.
Oh wait, that would take a love of America and cajones….both of which are lacking in most Media outlets today.
On-my-soap-box, they did it a second time because they uncovered a plot to assassinate one of the cartoonists. In other words: “When you misbehave, we show you the cartoons that make you go mental”.
An effect of this tiresomely perpetual outrage is that some of the more, how shall I put it, “unpalatable” political parties are getting closer and closer to being elected each time. In Britain, the BNP (British National Party) now gets more hits on its website than any of the mainstream parties. In France, President Sarkozy has decided to introduce DNA testing on immigrants and is now deporting them by the tens of thousands each year, and growing. Look at what is happening in Belgium with Vlaams Belang - they’re a few parliamentary members short of being in full power.
To granite and ACHefty,
I was not wasting my life or feeding the troll–just providing a counterbalance to his statement. If I had been feeding him, I might have used nasty names and questioned his intelligence–I did neither.
Have a nice Washinton’s Birthday!!!

Denmark is a lot like “Europe’s California.” Let the Jihadists have it.
As far as California goes, I’d rather give it to the muslims rather than the Mexicans. At least if the Jihadists own California, we won’t have to keep supporting that wasteland.
+1
Like an out-of-round tire, his arguments cannot, will not, ever be balanced, no matter how many counterbalances you put on it!
Hard to sympathize with the Danish or give them a penny when they continue to persecute Israel for trying to deal with the same Islamofascists they now face. They’ve learned nothing, so don’t buy Danish. You are enabling those who enable our–and their–enemies, if you do.
Yes, my first reaction to these cartoon nations, cartoon president, and cartoon religion, was to laugh. Trouble is, they are not only delusional, but dangerous and deadly. Laugh at the crazy person threatening imaginary enemies with a gun, but do so at your own peril.
Sorry Debbie Schlussel, but Denmark’s foreign policy regarding a couple of squabbling ethnic groups in the the middle east doesn’t sway my opinion. I will keep supporting Denmark.
Prior to World War Two the LGM types also ignored Hitlers threats and laughed off Churchills warnings many times. It finally took to see that PM Chamberlain’s folly in appeasement to wake folks up to the real danger of Hitler. Now these same types of folks like LGM still have their heads buried to this new threat. Hope these Muslim threats don’t reach LGM’s city or home.
These two countries don’t participate in the UN sanctions? If not, they should prohibit export of ANYTHING to Iran. Beat the blowhard Imawannajihad to the punch! Now, that Mahmoud…he’s a smart one…cut off imports of even more commodities for your fellow Islamic Fascists! Brilliant, simply brilliant!
Heh!
Gandolph?
Can one imagien what they would be like if they were not a religion of peace?
Let’s see… I can enlist my grandchildren in the war against Islamofacism by buying them Legos? Seems like a good deal to me!
That makes zero sense. It’s the same ethnic group whose attacks on Denmark are apparently the reason for which you support Denmark. Well, no-one said there are no hypocrites and no ignorance in the world. Why be consistent? But glad to see you admit you believe in moral equivalence of Islamic terrorists and Westerners trying to defend themselves from them. Again, since you see them as morally equivalent “ethnic groups,” why support Denmark against them. Who cares about logic-right?
garyt said (#26):
It always comes back to Hitler.
The situation is different. Hitler controlled one of the greatest industrial economies of the world and was building military hardware at an amazing rate. Iran and Syria and Hamas and the Hezbollah between them are puny. The Iranian economy is going backwards.
China, on the other hand, has a surging economy and a growing high tech military, nuclear weapons, tested missile delivery systems, and a stated desire to destroy the US (read Little Red Book). If there were a Churchill today, he would have his “hair on fire” over China, not Iran. You would be the Chamberlain telling him to calm down.
Most of Denmark and its major unions continue to support a boycott on Israel. Until that boycott stops and a full apology is issued, Danes deserve none of our support and should, themselves be boycotted.
Yes I agree Churchill would be warning us on the peril of China. Again most liberals and conservatives alike would see no danger in China and I agree with you on this subject. I still claim that Muslims want to destroy Christian, Jewish and other western values. They want Israel eliminated, they want a Muslim Phillipines, a Muslim Thailand which has nothing to do with Israel. They are slowly curbing free speech in Western Europe and North America. If you don’t believe me look at whats happening in Denmark and The Netherlands. You may say they were insulting Islam but where are the critics when Christianity is insulted?. I am just saying most folks have their heads buried in the sand when it comes to Islamic aggression. Churchill would agree as well.
It’s easy and delicious to buy Dutch. Windmill cookies and ontbijtkoek (honey cake) lead the way, and everything in the Dutch section of the supermarket is worth trying. Watch out for the salted licorice, though, it’s an acquired taste.
I have to agree with one single point of lgm’s, that is that China is indeed a growing threat, although they haven’t begun marching, yet. (Except for annexing Tibet)
I am forced, however, to remind lgm that his hero Slick Willie is the one that allowed his commerce department to oversee the transfer of technology useful in long range ballistsic missles to China.
As for the Islamic threat, 10 years ago no one imagined them flying planes into the WTC. Oh, wait, there was this article in SOF magazine that stated the Islamic world would in fact be our next big opponent.
OK, so China is bigger right now. The middle east is however also a very significant threat that we did ignore, and I dare say some would keep ignoring.
Buy Lego Toys! Um, I mean collectible models, yeah that’s it….
Being Danish - (heritage) - I have a special place in my heart for the bravery of the Danes in this free speech issue and the fact that the little country has sent a proportionate ly greater number of troops to actually FIGHT in Afghanistan that most other European countries.
Her SOCAILISM is what is drawing the Muslims to her.
If group does not have to work-they have time to make bombs.
(Socialist Germany- Hamburg- Muslims with no jobs-time to make Bombs-9-11-2001) comes to mind.
As I said - I will fly my Danish flag under the Stars and Stripes (my Danish grandfather would not have approved-he w/ ceremony raised the Stars and Stripes every morning and lowered her every night)but I’m doing it anyway.
Now little brave Denmark-get the govt out your pocket-
LEGOS are good!!
So is Aquavit
WATCO -I purchased a bunch of cans when I found out the the enviros. were demanding a formula chage
These backward Islamic countries can’t beat the West militarily, so, they stand there and threaten…like a chihuahua against a great dane. There’s a heck of a lot of barking, in an attempt to intimidate. The sad part is that there are some “great danes” running away.
that would be…
formula change
I agree with Howard #37 that China did get some high tech nuke delivery systems from the USA I think back in 1996. This could come back and haunt us and at the same time the little chihuahuas have enough power to enforce that there is nothing critical said about Islam in western nations. Western nations do not want to appear not being PC. Its time to reveal what truely Islam is and how they try to hide its agenda. I guess LGM has no fear of Muslim law.
Debbie Shlussel, I have to disagree with you: I cannot at all identify with what is going on in Israel or whether Denmark’s foreign policy in that respect should bother me or not. I’m not Jewish or Muslim, not middle-eastern, and let’s face it - a tiny sliver of land on the Mediterranean coast is not worth my bother.
On the other hand I have Saxon and Norman heritage, I speak English (originates from southern Denmark and northern Germany) and my culture is mostly from that part of the world.
So why should I not support Denmark, and favor instead a country and culture that is totally foreign to me?
I’ll support Denmark and I don’t care what they think about Israel. Ideally they should have no opinion of that conflict at all. Let ‘em duke it out without bothering the rest of us.
graysonret #39 you are totally right. The trouble is, when the great dane decides to maul the chihuahua, what is rest of the chihuahua will whimper that it deserves some kind of compensation and that the world has been nasty to it. Enter The Official National Guilt Trip, and watch them revelling in their victim status.

Which fish wrapper would be a reliable source of info???
Well, lgm, you’re right about one thing: I don’t read the rags that populate the bottom of hamster cages.
I also wouldn’t be surpirsed, however, if you were right about it. But the seminal event appeared to be when Slick changed the oversight of such transfers from the State Dept. to Commerce. One might say that “started it all,” assuming it is still going on.
As for Taiwan, China has indeed been threatening for some time, but remember the main point of discussion: The Islamic world has launched. They have been attacking us since 1979. They have been attacking Isreal since 1948. They attacked Middle Eastern Christian over 1000 years ago. They haven’t ever really stopped.
I’d say anyone that thinks they are not a threat is either in denial, delusional, or perhaps just plain stupid.

Exactly!
Well said.
Antaradus, not so much an national guilt trip, as an international guilt trip, via the U.N., who will pass another bunch of worthless resolutions condemning any and all aggressive “attacks” against any Islamic country, supported by Russia and China. But you’re right if we have a Democrat government. If the rift was between Denmark and Iran, the U.S. will be the first up to apologize and beg forgiveness.

I also am neither Jewish, Muslim, nor Middle Eastern.
However, the Muslims must be stopped at that tiny sliver of land, which is the only - only - outpost of Western civilization in the Middle East. By “coincidence”, it also happens to be the only non-Muslim country in the Middle East, and the most dependable, perhaps only, friend the U.S. has in that region of the world.
If the Muslims rolled over and destroyed Israel: besides being a stain on, and a black mark against Western civilization for centuries, maybe for millennia; that would be an incalculable morale booster for the Muslim barbarians, who would feel even MORE inclined to continue to attack us…indeed, they would more than likely increase and intensify their attacks against us.
“Let ‘em duke it out without bothering the rest of us.”
Perhaps if the elite in our country, and in the rest of the West understood that Israel is not the aggressor, and would just let them seriously and vigorously defend themselves (and the Israeli elite would wake up to the necessity of doing just that); then, perhaps the barbarians finally, after getting seriously smacked around and mauled, would realize that they were not going to be able to “push Israel into the sea.”

Now you have a well put statement, granite.
Everything Isreal has done since April 16, 1948 has been to stop Islamists from killing them. Yes, not just the “fundamentalists,” as it was entire nations attacking Isreal. The aggressors only turned to terrorists as proxies since they discovered conventional war wasn’t going to defeat the Jews. (Isreal was Re-instituted April 15, 1948.It was ONE day after that that the rest of the Middle East attacked them.)
And Christian Soldier, they’re “LEGO toys.” Lego gets all bent out of shape when we call them “LEGOS.” Yes, I’ve called them that since I was a kid, too.

LGM you want the budget balanced? Would you want eternal life too? We all have a wish list but saying stuff about balancing the budget won’t diminish the Muslim threat. Muslims not only hate Christians, Jews, Hindus, and Buddists but they also hate any non believer.
Sacré bleu!
My hamsters wouldn’t be caught dead defecating on such inferior paper. Newspapers are for birds
Nothing on the above list that I recognize except the LEGOs.
I like LEGOs, and so do the countless, hard-headed young-uns that populate the places I like to hang out.
Here I go to the toy store!
LGM’s patented illogic is on parade here.
Yes, China is definitely a “threat”.
Yes, Mao’s Little Red Book of 35 years ago may have called the US an enemy.
But no, China is not treating the US as an enemy today. Mao’s teachings get mostly lip service — but of course lgm hasn’t noticed.
If the Chinese were to destroy us they themselves know it would make worthless more than a TRILLION dollars in US$ reserves they hold, plus immiserate their people (who would no longer have a huge market for their products.)
Factors like those tend to put a damper on bellicosity, rhetoric aside.
Meanwhile Iran threatens Israel with nuclear annihilation about once a week, opening saying that when they get a nuke they will use it. Iran arms Hezbollah, Hezbollah makes war against Israel and the West. Where it can, Iran acts on its rhetoric.
Practitioners of Realpolitik, or irrational whackjob Islamists who see in Armaggeon with Iraq the fulfilment of Koranic teachings, and the return of the 12th Iman — which would you fear most?
As for Republicans balancing the budget: they certainly didn’t do a good job of that when they held power (war spending saw to that), but since the Congress is in the hands of the Dems, the point is…pointless.
Like everything lgm writes.
Well, my house is entirely furnished in Dansk Mobeln, so we’ve got the Danes’ back at least in our home!
