Hussein Ibish: Insane rubbish

By Michelle Malkin  •  February 21, 2008 09:59 AM

In case you needed a reminder of how deaf, dumb, and dhimmi the MSM continues to be…

Read this whitewash of jihadi apologist Hussein Ibish by a New Orleans Times-Picayune religion reporter.

And compare it to Daniel Pipes’ whistle-blowing about Ibish’s insane rubbish.

Know your enemies–and their dutiful stenographers.

After reading Daniel Pipes article it appears Hussein Ibish was boinking one of his male students. Does this change what I think of Muslims. Not one bit. Just like the hijackers of 9/11 who were at strip bars the nights before. Sanctimonious killers. If Hussein Ibish wants the stereotypes to go away maybe he should try condemning jihad instead of making excuses for it. And maybe they could try naming their kids Mike or Joe or something. I am getting quite sick of the names Hussein and Muhammed

Perhaps public perception of Muslims would improve if they stopped killing people for their religion. Since the Sep 11 attacks, Muslims have made over 10,000 terror attacks, killing 60,000 innocent people and wounding 90,000. My modest proposal to Muslims is to bring the number of terror murders down to zero if you wish to command our respect. The way the world works is that you receive about as much respect to others as you give. You will never earn respect by murderous and intolerant contempt for non-Muslims.

Hussein Ibish is a prime example of the
Question: Why don’t the moderate Muslims stand up and say anything?

Answer: There is not such a thing as a moderate Muslim.

He is just another radical here in America that is tolerated. America stop tolerating these idiot zealots, take a stand against them and let the truth be known exposing them like Daniel Pipes. Good job Daniel and thanks.

He has had at least a couple of sharp exchanges with the Fox News Network’s Michelle Malkin. One, in May, turned on whether the Kansas City International Airport was right to install a faucet so Muslim cab drivers could wash their feet before prayer.

I know someone who is a supervisor for the K.C. Aviation Department he told me that “the Muslims were washing their feet in the drinking fountains in the airport so it became a health issue”, I asked him why don’t they go to the bathrooms and use the sink.” (equally disgusting) he replied “I don’t know but that is the reason they put the foot baths in the airport and it’s only one area that was built” I asked “your telling me they had to build a special room for them?” he replied “yes but it’s not very big and it is at one end of the airport” I told him “they should’nt have put them in in the first place and airport security should have taken action against anyone washing their feet in drinking fountains causing a public health risk, It is a crime to put the public at risk is it not.” his reply “I don’t know, I don’t work for the health department but that is what I was told by my superiors and they wanted to avoid a lawsuit.”
I said “you and I both know that is bullsh!t they appeased them instead of prosucuting the for creating health risk.” He said “I did’nt say I agreed with it.”

“This is what explains the collapse of the good name of Islam,” he said.

Um - no. Indiscriminate suicide/homicide attacks on innocent civilians and a boisterous, un-denounced cry for world domination and destruction of its ‘enemies’ explains the collapse of the good name of Islam.

In this context, Ibish said, the West sees Islam as bent on its destruction and American Muslims as suspected allies who cannot credibly deny otherwise.

The vocal Islamists are the ones saying they are bent on the West’s destruction. Most American Muslims are not vocal in any disagreement they may have - as a group - so there is no credible denial by them.

Thus, ethnic profiling becomes reasonable and forced internment or mandatory identification of Muslims becomes a potential remedy, he said.

The only internment has been of ‘enemy combatants’ ( for the most part ). His obvious implication of internment camps and ‘marked’ citizens is a complete creation of his imagination.

Moreover, any request for cultural accommodation, such as the water faucet in the airport, may be linked back to the memory of 9/11.

A cultural accommodation… no, it’s a religious accommodation. One that would not be afforded to, say, Christians, without the ACLU taking it all the way to the Supreme Court if it was granted.

“There are people who want to make it impossible for the American Muslim community to engage in dialogue,” Ibish said.

When that dialogue includes the condemnation of the terrorism and destruction and disregard for human rights which is prevalent amongst radical Muslims, perhaps people will start listening.

Finally, a student of American popular culture would find that anti-Islamic rhetoric sounds vaguely familiar, Ibish said.

He said that’s because in tone and substance it almost exactly tracks the anti-Semitic messages that filled American culture between the world wars.

Now that’s funny - a radical Islamists complaining that their culture is being denegrated - just like was done to the Jews….

Why don’t you ask your friends in the middle-east how that ‘destruction of Israel’ thing coming along, Mr. Ibish?

Then come back and talk to us about being ‘anti-semitic’.

Anti-American, anti-Semitic, inaccurate and immoral; Hussein Ibish makes for a peculiar choice to serve as the public face of Arab-Americans.

As Lebanon is in Asia, does that make Mr. Ibish an acceptable “spokesman for Asian Americans” (referring to yesterday’s email to Hot Air’s newsdesk)?

I love some of the comments about foot-washing. The USDA threatened to close the plant and the company had to have some very intensive training sessions with the Somali workers.

I don’t hate Arabs, just the Muslim that won’t stand up against their own who endorse and/or support terrorism. (not all Arab’s are Muslim)

I’m also tired of people trying to differentiate between the Islamic Terrorists and Muslims by calling the terrorists ‘Islamic’ or ‘Islamic Fundamentalist’ or ‘Islamic Fanatic’, and the ‘peaceful’ Islam supporters as ‘Muslims’. Anyone who follows Islam is a Muslim. So really, the ‘Islamic Terrorists’ are Muslim Terrorists. I wish the MSM would just call them that. (Of course, that will never happen. I’d have as much luck wishing for Osama to show up in chains on the White House steps.)

Furthermore, if you’re Muslim and don’t verbally denounce the terrorists in your own religion, then you’re endorsing them through silence, which tacitly makes you a supporter of terrorism, which in effect makes you a terrorist too.

The only issue which the Koran talks about concerning toiletry, is the one of washing one’s hands especially following going to the toilet which is mentioned in verse 5:6 of the Koran. (Probably not a bad idea. It’s even recommended in OUR culture.)

As far as foot washing goes, that is a form of Islamic Ablution before performing prayer or reading the Koran. There is no requirement for foot baths since Muslims could perform the Tayammum, the Symbolic Ablution, which doesn’t require water. So the whole “I need a foot bath to honor Allah and clean myself before praying” is B.S.

It doesn’t mater which way you slice it muslims do not belong in America. Every little detail of their ideology is in conflict with the Bill of rights so what would they be doing here? I know and no doubt you know too. As an American I am sickened by every thing that comes out of their mouths. I don’t trust them I don’t believe it is safe to be around them. They will at some point use you to further their cause calling you a bigot or lying about things you said or did.

No its just not worth it. I think I speak for many Americans when I say that we don’t want them interned we want them gone. Out of our country before our women cant walk the street alone or uncovered without driving one of them to rape they cant control themselves even they admit that. Anyone who supports islam must support the treatment of women that we see in every islamist paradise no matter what continent they call home at the time. Ethnic profiling wont work either there are many ethnicities and not all of the people of them practice islam, profiling needs to target ideology to work.

Besides, this is not a religion but if we were to call it religion it would, by my bible be closely related to satan not God. These islamists come here and try to smear us all with pre WWII bologna, I am talking about right now and all they can come up with is some Americans were anti semantic more than half a century ago. Hes right though we did have a lot of Germans who were in the bund here in the USA the FBI did a good job of rounding them up by the thousands when war broke out and harassing them throughout the war as well. I hope they are making a new list with new enemies of America on it. Take a look at Europe and then tell me they just want to fit in, yeah right. So, Ibish, which Arab countries would/do allow this type of “incredibly bigoted commentary” today? If I am not wrong, most Islamic and Arab countries governments DO NOT allow anything close to “commentary” unless it tows the Radical Islamist ideology. Furthermore, anyone who “dares” to utter compromise language is either arrested, or found decapitated. Those mentioned above don’t need to “transfer” old anti-Arab stereotypes to Islam, because, obviously, they are neither old, nor stereotypes, they are facts!

    Wrong, wrong, wrong.

Islam’s name has been sh*t since before the founding.

    Behold:

one cannot get around what Jefferson heard when he went with John Adams to wait upon Tripoli’s ambassador to London in March 1785. When they inquired by what right the Barbary states preyed upon American shipping, enslaving both crews and passengers, America’s two foremost envoys were informed that “it was written in the Koran, that all Nations who should not have acknowledged their authority were sinners, that it was their right and duty to make war upon whoever they could find and to make Slaves of all they could take as prisoners, and that every Mussulman who should be slain in battle was sure to go to Paradise.”

Rather than choose to pay perpetual tribute to the barbary states, Jefferson opted instead to kick the living crap out of ‘em.

The only tribute we pay to Tripoli these days is in the Marines Hymn.

God willing, the next generation will sing songs about how our Marines kicked the crap out of today’s musselmen.

doppelganglander, they are diametrically opposed. The jihadis are just using the liberals to further their aims. The liberals suffer from BDS (among other ailments) and since Bush is prosecuting the GWOT successfully, the jihadis know if they can get a liberal elected, the GWOT will not necessarily stop, but it will be made impotent by Clinton or Obama.

Once the jihadis get enough power, sharia law takes effect and the liberals will be the first to scream the loudest about the abuse and degredation of islam.
