Another boo-freaking-hoo Hillary moment

By Michelle Malkin  •  February 29, 2008 09:10 AM

Which is more noxious–the fact that she’s so flagrantly and desperately playing the gender card in the waning days of her miserable campaign or the fact that there are, in fact, women out there who will respond to this drivel? Via ABC News:

In an interview with ABC News’ Cynthia McFadden to air on this evening’s “Nightline,” Sen. Hillary Clinton, D-N.Y., says it’s tougher for her to run as a woman than it is for her male opponent.

Asked why she thinks so many women may be feeling sorry for her, Clinton said, “I think a lot of women project their own feelings and their lives onto me, and they see how hard this is. It’s hard. It’s hard being a woman out there. It is obviously challenging with some of the things that are said that are not even personal to me so much as they are about women.

“And I think women just sort of shake their head,” Clinton continued. “My friends do. They say, ‘Oh, my gosh, this is so hard.’ Well, it’s supposed to be hard. I’m running for the hardest job in the world. No one has ever done this. No woman has ever won a presidential primary before I won New Hampshire. This is hard. And I don’t expect any sympathy, I don’t expect any kind of, you know, allowances or special privileges, because I knew what I was getting myself into.

“Every so often I just wish that it were a little more of an even playing field,” she said, “but, you know, I play on whatever field is out there.”

It’s not easy to be her.

Wonder what field you’ll be playing on after next Tuesday? Perhaps that gig at Bob Evans is still available? As someone who in their past waited tables I’d like to see you balance hot plates of food, drinks and baskets of bread out to the hungry masses. I believe the jewelry she had on yesterday was worth more than that group of workers made in a month.

I assume she’s talking about the media, to which I say: Honey, they’re not treating you like a woman, they’re treating you like a Republican, and you loved it when you and your husband were on the high end of that unlevel playing field. This is what it’s like when 90% of the media is blatantly rooting for the other guy. It sucks, doesn’t it? Republicans typically fight back with ideas, not tears. Give it a try. Oh, that’s right, you’re a far left socialist so you can’t really talk about your ideas, can you, because they scare the hell out of voters. Okay, then, carry on with the tears.

This is stunning in the fact of how all the democratic campaigns have ben run over the last two years. Yes two years. The longest presidential campaign now.

The victem and minority angles portrayed are pathetic. I have since I was a little tike been interested in politics. My own shortcoming. Anyway, the dems want to portray themselves as such an underdog that it is sickening.
The real push , or should I say the first major was Kerry playing the sympathy for his questionable purple hearts ( a lack of release in his military records still brings doubt to his claims). Now Barrak and his being 1/2 black and former muslem upbringings. Then his middle name. All of which I truely see as being pushed by his campaign and not Hillary’s.

Hillary playing the gender card and poor hard working background, (again very questionable). Also do not forget Michelle Obamma and her trying to move away from the privlaged background in her upbringing.

I for one am looking forward to more dirt being spewed in the upcoming months leading to a very interesting convention.

    Dear Hillary,

People are not voting for you- not because your a woman….it’s because your Hillary Clinton. You were told you are the most hated politician in the last 50 years and that your negativity numbers were over 50% and you could never win but you didn’t listen because you never do listen. You have it in your head that you are entitled to be crowned president but it does not work like that in this country. The people have voted and most of your “friends” have left you. They were only your friend because they feared crossing you but now they realized that you and your husband are has beens and they couldn’t turn their backs on you fast enough. People are voting for Obama, not because they like him or his ideas, most of the Obama votes are “NOT HILLARY” votes.

So now we have YOU to thank for Obama being 1 step away from the presidency. A man who has no experience and no answers. A man who wrote his memoirs ate age 40. A man who never met a social program he did not like. A man who has know idea what the military is for. A man who in 4 years can do more damage than you and Bill did in 8 years. God help us if he wins.

Why don’t you and Bill take Marc Rich and the FALN terrorists you pardoned and crawl back under the rocks you came from.

Hillary even told a brazen lie in one of her recent commercials. The ad says: “Hillary: She’s worked the night shift”. My question is when? Was it when she was a law studen grad “working” for the House Impeachment Committee? They lock the doors at the Capital buildings at night and they don’t have a night shift for law student grads? Was when she was in the Rose Law Firm? Law firms don’t have night shifts for lawyers. Maybe they can stay late in nice offices but there is no such thing as “the night shift”. Was it as First Lady? There is no night shift for first ladies. As a law student, Hillary worked for a radical Berkeley, California law firm. She was not going to night court. That is the sum total of Hillary’s work experience. She was never a waitress, a ticket taker at a movie theater, or a coin operator at the laundromat. She just made the whole thing up the way the Clintons always do. Maybe Hillary is fantasing that she was Alex from the movie Flashdance, steel welder by day, dancer at night. The Clintons live in their own fantasy world where they imagine things and then it becomes their reality.

The only good thing that may come out of this year’s election cycle could be the destruction of the Democrat Party due to her failure to leave the race. Here’s another conspiracy/possibility:

Hillary will run as Barack’s VP (which will raise a lot of eyebrows in the first place). Something happens to Obama. Hillary gets her presidency after all.

Just look at how many people died in the Clinton Administration or those related in business or otherwise to the Clinton during those years — I lost count.

    Just saying.

Again, HILLARY, if you think running for president is hard, what are you going to do IF you actually become president? I’m sure it’s a hard job – basically you work 24 hours a day/7 days a week. I don’t think I’ve ever once seen a president whine about his job. But since you’re a woman you get to? That is women’s empowerment?

Here’s empowerment – rising at 6am, getting yourself ready for work, waking your two kids, getting them fed and dressed, out the door, drop them at school/daycare, go to work all day, leave on time to pick everyone up again, go home, cook, help with homework, clean up, get everyone to bed (including bathtime, stories), get ready for the next day (laundry, pack lunches, get bookbags sorted out), etc. However, instead of whining be PROUD of how you and your husband are taking care of your family, earning money, educating your children, paying for your home, and still have some left to enjoy yourselves.

THEN have presidential candidates tell you that you really earn TOO MUCH (even though it’s really ‘just enough’) and you are TOO responsible, so we’re planning on giving of your hard-earned and needed money away to the people who whine about how the poor choices they’ve made are such a burden. THAT is what makes me want to cry.

What’s better…to be one of a hundred Senators or VP? If I were her, I’d take the VP job, which would be easier for her to run as president should Obama make it the 8 years or even get elected in the first place, or should something happen to him while he’s in office. Hence, my first theory of lots of dead people while Clintons are around.

But then again, I don’t think Obama would pick her to run with him in the fist place — that’s a sure way to sink his candidacy due to her extremely high negatives.

    And then a shower
Stage door johnnies always surround me
    They always hound me
    With one request
Who can satisfy their lustful habits
    I’m not a rabbit
    I need some rest

    I’m tired
    Sick and tired of love
I’ve had my fill of love
    From below and above
    Tired, tired of being admired
    Tired of love uninspired
    Let’s face it
    I’m tired

I’ve been with 1000s of men
    Again and again

    And always too soon
    Right girls?

    Tired of playing the game
    Ain’t it a crying shame
    I’m so tired
    God dammit I’m exhausted

Tired, tired of playing the game

    She’s tired (She’s tired)
Sick and tired of love (Give her a break)

    Tired (She’s bushed)
Tired of being admired (Let her alone)
Tired of love uninspired (Get off the phone)
    She’s tired (Don’t you know she’s pooped)

I’ve been with 1000s of men
    Again and again
    They sing the same tune
They start with Byron and Shelly
    And jump on your belly
    And bust your ballon
