A third round of U.N. sanctions against Iran
Because the other two rounds worked so effectively! Indonesia abstained on the 14-0 toothless vote:
The U.N. Security Council approved a third round of sanctions against Iran on Monday with near unanimous support, sending a strong signal to Tehran that its refusal to suspend uranium enrichment is unacceptable and becoming increasingly costly.
For the first time, the resolution bans trade with Iran in goods which have both civilian and military uses.
The vote was 14-0 with one abstention from Indonesia.
Iran’s U.N. Ambassador Mohammad Khazee told the council just before the vote that the government would not comply with the “unlawful action” against its “peaceful nuclear program.”
Allahpundit noted last week: “Worrying about whether their program is dormant or already up and running is like worrying about whether the gun pointing at you is loaded or about to be loaded. You’ve got a tiny bit more time with the latter but it’s the moment of truth either way.”

Hang on a second. The Democrats and the Liberal talking heads all praised Iran for giving up their nuclear weapons program years ago, according to their interpretation of the National Intelligence Estimate, right? It was top of the fold, front-page news!
So now this revelation by the UN that Iran has NOT given up its nuclear weapons program, and is in fact HIDING it, gets relegated to the back pages and is not worthy of TV news.
Interesting. AND ANTI-AMERICAN, AND TRAITOROUS AND PRO-MUSLIM TERRORIST.
We all know their program is running…just south of Tehran, I believe. But, there, the clerics are yawning with the news. U.N., now that’s a real paper tiger.
These santions on Iran will have about as much effect as getting Reid and Polosi out of DC. Zero!

This only proves the need to get Oh!b♥m♥ into office so he can invite Mahmoud to the White House for tea and scones. Then we can finally resolve this problem through diplomacy.
Does anyone besides me get flashbacks from news like this to all of the U.N. Security resolutions passed against Saddam Hussein? I know I can’t be the only one.

When the liberals declare that other countries have no respect for the USA, it makes ya wonder.
Just like teaching your children.
You give rules and dole out punishments.
WORDS mean nothing…only action.
Of course there’s no respect.
We enable their behaviors.
The UN is a joke and I’m afraid we have pulled the carpet from our own feet by claiming that our intelligence is in alignment with the NIE!?! There is no proof that they stopped their program yet we go on record (for whatever reason) declaring that they have. And Mahmoud along with his never-ending supply of members only jackets gets to make us look like fools, time and time again. I continue to pray that we wake up before it is too late.

How much longer are we going to wait before we get out of Israel’s way and let what must-happen happen?!

Yep! Hit them with a rolled up piece of paper like that’s going to leave a mark. The Useless Nations needs to have their headquarters and their corrupt bureaucrats ejected from this country as soon as possible.
Oh no! The UN is angry at Iran. What will they do? They’re in for it now.

This reminds me of watching my friends at the park with their kids: “Tommy, don’t do that. I said don’t do that. One…Two…Three…OK, I mean it this time. One…Two…Three…Tommy, you’re upsetting Mommy. You need to stop that right now!”
American politicians may be too coward to stand up for America but Israel will make Iran pay if they ever actually make a nuclear bomb. I for one will shout for joy when they obliterate Tehran. Kill them all, and I don’t need anyone tell me about innocent people in Iran. When your religion says kill everyone that is not Muslim, there are no innocent people. The UN is nothing but a welfare office for the rest of the world.
I propose the same thing I proposed for North Korea’s nuclear weapons program. Sneak a 10 to 20 kilo ton nuke into Tehran. Drive about 20 miles away and detonate it. Immediately rush in to help the injured while tsk, tsk, tsking that idiots shouldn’t play with nukes – look what they did to themselves!
Watch out Iran! Next up is a strongly worded letter that will be permanently placed in your personnel file!

Iran attacking Israel is about as likely as Iran attacking Antarctica- its not going to happen. They know the repercussions of those acts. Israel will use nuclear weapons. All Ahmedinejad is doing is posturing.

Hey, look on the bright side. A lot of people in Iran and at the UN will get rich from these sanctions. How many more sanctions to go? Would it be somewhere around 14 more before we can do anything or do you think the UN will approve a tougher action (Double Super Secret Sanctions maybe?) once they start dropping nukes on people they do not like?
This is going to end in 1 of 2 ways.
1-Israel bombs the nuclear facilities or.
2.President Obama ala Jimmy Carter, orders Israel to do nothing and then Iran nukes Israel.
