16 Congressional seats represent our imbalance in Congress. It is up to the voters to seat representatives who will support existing immigration law and buld the fence. Since we have no opportunity to vote for a conservative Presidential candidate Congress is the only potential available to influence the outcome of this important issue.Vote Early Vote Often

Ramos and Compean have been unjustly imprisoned for 14 months now for the heinous crime of enforcing our border and anti-drug laws.

*crickets* from MSM and conservative bloggers/talkers. The latter should be defending them vigorously, but can't seem to be bothered. Gets in the way of Limbaugh talking about himself, I suppose.

Et tu, Michelle? When we going to see some outrage about this?

Now is the time to call your Senators and get them involved!!!

Let's go on offense instead of always being on defense (pun intended!).

I have been pestering my Rep. for months about the SAVE Act, and he just became a co-sponsor last week.

Get 'er done!!

Republican only, but a whopping 96% in favor.

Federal, state and local officials should be required to enforce US immigration laws in order to secure our borders.

This in a border state. But then, we know what it's doing to our cities and state.

Hopefully as President, McCain won’t veto immigration enforcement legislation. Although he will probably keep Chertoff and Julie Myers to talk the talk and do nothing.

SURE he will - right after he puts Johnny Sutton on the Supreme Court!

Next I will start sending a peso with every letter I send. Not sure where I will get pesos here in the middle of Mississippi……oh yeah, I’ll just go to any construction site, or Home Depot, or landscaping service, or Mexican restaraunt, or chamber of commerce and ask one of the illegals for a couple pesos.

A photograph of a peso would be much more to the point! Don't you really think?

On March 5th, 2008 at 6:48 am, zorro said:
…one of my favorite GOP Senate members, Jeff Sessions of Alabama…
After Teddy Kennedy and the rest of the half-witted democraps Borked his nomination to the Federal Court, our entire office mobilized to support his run for the Senate. He is a fine southern gentleman of the first order.

If any of our elected officials could get this issue out front, it’s Sen. Sessions.

YEA, ZORRO! WAY TO GO! I hope your whole office is equally offended at McCain.

I heard Rush a while ago for just a few minutes, but it was when he was addressing the issue that MSM, Fox and the GOP LEADERSHIP were all crowing about how Conservative Radio hadn't stopped McCain from becoming the NOMINEE, acting like that meant he'd won the OFFICE.
And Rush pointed out that McCain lost a mighty big chunk of yesterday's votes for a man with no "SERIOUS" competition.

Rush was right - we have no use for Huckleberry, but other Texas state candidates won their nomination with 100% - 74% of the vote of their party.

McCain had about 52 - 54% of the support of his party, and all the other candidates besides Huckleberry still got a smattering of votes, too. They garnered somewhere close to 15% of the vote, in Texas, as well!

Worse than that, if the top four candidates of both parties had been on ONE TICKET instead of TWO, then McCain would have been THIRD, and usually with half the votes of the Dim #2 slot.

Now, some claim the GOP didn't turn out like the Dims because we didn't have a horserace like the Dims.

Maybe.

Maybe it is a bellweather sign for the turnout in November - and if it is...

It will be a shame to see McCain get what he deserves at the nation's expense of having to have a Dim President as badly as Conservatives would have given "ALMOST" EVERYTHING to see the Dims defeated, this fall.

That great desire to fight the Dims harder than ever, this Election cycle seems to have been the crux of what the Leadership decided to play on to manipulate the Primaries with OPEN primaries to get him nominated, "BECAUSE HE HAS WANTED IT FOR SO LONG AND HAS "EARNED IT" " - because the GOP Leadership decided they could blackmail us with the "Lesser of two evils" strategy to make us vote for him this Fall.

I really LOATHE the idea of a Dim President. But on the other hand, which of the Dim candidates has a history of accomplishing the DIM AGENDA like McCAIN does!
NEITHER of them has accomplished as much of THEIR AGENDA in their entire CAREERS as McCAIN has for them IN ONE of his many bills.

No way I can any more vote for McCain in November, any more than I could either of the Dims. It just ain't gonna happen. And I bet a few of those who endorsed him against all t heir own principles, because they have to for their careers in the GOP, I bet they cannot pull that switch for him, either! When it comes right down to it!

For tabulation of constituent sentiment purposes, I used the contact forms to tell Arizona Senators Kyl and McCain that they need to join the Senate Border Security and Enforcement First Caucus and fully support the Caucus agenda.

If enough of us complain, maybe Senator Kyl will pay attention.
