A vigil marred
Jennifer Kutner e-mails a report about a Los Angeles vigil for the murdered Israeli seminary students marred by jihadi apologists:
This statement was released by the Israeli Consulate of Los Angeles and StandWithUs:
One day after the brutal terrorist attack in Jerusalem in which a Palestinian terrorist infiltrated the Mercaz Harav rabbinical seminary and opened fire on a crowded library and study hall, killing eight students and wounding 11 others. Among those killed or injured were students who held dual Israeli-American citizenship. A candlelight vigil in memory of the innocent victims was held outside the Consulate General of Israel in Los Angeles, organized by StandWithUs, an international education organization.
As Jewish and Israeli mourners, joined by passersby, came to pay their respects by lighting candles and reciting the tradition Jewish prayers of mourning, a virulent anti-Semitic demonstration, featuring radical speaker Amir Abdel Malik Ali, Imam of Masjid Al-Islam in Oakland, was held outside the Consulate and in front of those paying respect to the eight students killed in Jerusalem. Malik Ali is a frequent invited speaker to UC Irvine, where he has openly advocated for Muslim “martyrdom” against Israelis and favors the solution of a single Muslim state in place of Israel…
…Consul General of Israel, Jacob Dayan: “Israel is at the forefront of the struggle against terrorism and will continue to defend its citizens, who suffer under this threat on a daily basis. Israel expects the nations of the world to support its war against those who murder students, fathers, mothers, and children.
Israel will never allow terrorism to achieve its goals. Such vicious terrorist attacks expose the true nature of the terrorist threat. A clear, decisive and uncompromising stand is necessary against such terrorism.”
Los Angeles Council Member, Jack Weiss: “Today Los Angeles grieves with Israel especially because ten years ago, a white supremacist shot up a school full of Jewish children. We know the pain of losing children to senseless gunfire, and it is unfortunate that this day of mourning was defiled by the hate and anti-Semitism of Imam Al-Islam.”
Pastor Billy Ingram of Maranatha Community Church: “I have come to stand up - in support of Israel – as a pastor and as a friend. If the United Nations Security Council does not stand up-we must be a committee of one and do it ourselves.”
Rabbi Bouskila: “To enter a house of spirituality, to desecrate it, if that happened in our community, if one of ours did that to another Christian or Muslim place of worship, we would be the first to condemn our own. But they do not condemn; they celebrate.”
Roz Rothstein, CEO of StandWithUs - “The horrific violence that caused this massacre is a direct result of hate training connected to radical ideology. In order for there to be any hopes for peace, the ideology of Radical Islam which drives Hamas must change, and peace must be taught.”

Exactly what we don’t hear enough of. Muslim outrage at these attacks.
I have found that when those who dish never receive what they dish, they profligate and exponentially multiply.
It is NOT A GOOD THING to not do whatever it takes to stop destruction at its root causes.
It makes no sense at all for a healthy community to be proud of itself for promoting destructiveness because of their doormat attitude, rather than being proud rather of giving their community the vigorous cleaning that is necessary to help keep good things in it thriving.
Would you be proud of deliberately tolerating mold growing in your refrigerator and kitchen cabinets?
I think not. On your children’s toothbrushes??? no.
Why do those things which promote these vicious and cold-blooded attacks on innocent people “have” to be tolerated - and be called PC?
When this muslim radical speaker Amir Abdel Malik Ali, Imam of Masjid Al-Islam in Oakland, showed up, he should have been arrested and charged with felony incitement of murder.
There will be NO outrage from muslims. CAIR? God will deal with these murders. I pray for the families and for Israel.

People have to decide - do you have survival instincts?
or suicidal instincts?
If you have something worth having, are you willing to defend it?
If you are not, then you say to that thing - you are not worth having, because you are NOT worth fighting to protect.
Cold-blooded vicious killers understand one thing only - do you have the gumption to protect yourself from them - or not.
If you do not - they have ONE THOUGHT - “PARTY TIME!”
When they love their children as we do than and only than will peace come to the middle east…..it will take generations to end the hate that is bred into their children.

I don’t know what he could have been charged with that could have stuck, but he definitely should have been arrested.
Amen! God bless Israel, the Apple of God’s Eye!
Several things are impossible for God - one of them, it is impossible for God to lie.
Here is at least one other:
Obadiah - this is impossible for God: to leave but one only Biblical prophecy undone.
This, too, shall indeed come to pass. In God’s time.
When I hear Muslims try condemn these attack they always blame it or equate it to Israel attacking terrorists. They claim Israel does the same things. As if killing Hamas terrorist is the same as a school shooting.
If you use your religion to justify killing those that don’t believe as you do you don’t belong to a civilised religion. You belong to a death cult. A death cult that will not provide salvation but an entirety of punishment and despair.
If you can be charged with incitement to riot in a building by yelling fire, even if nobody is hurt from your actions, then you can certainly be charged with incitement to murder in this kind of situation.
Furthermore, it is irresponsible of the city fathers to allow such outrageous behavior to go unchecked in their own community.
Our Founding fathers didn’t allow a man to SPIT at another man, because it was so provocative and would cause trouble.
Our schools are now ticketting children for ordinary schoolyard pushing and wrassling.
They can find a charge and they can make it stick, even if it is UNLAWFUL ENTRY or of CAUSING PUBLIC DISCORD and thus losing one’s visa.
You cannot go to Mexico and involve yourself publicly in THEIR local politics.
No doubt this man is an alien, and people have been deported for LESS.
I don’t feel like waiting that long.
If the KKK was to demonstrate, all heck would break loose. If this happened with Christian kids, and Jews showed up to advocate violence, all heck would break loose. Jews mourning with Ali out front…no problem. Shows the hypocrisy of our culture. Whatever happened to “hate speech” in this? How about incitment to riot? Oh, well…It’s California, of course.
When terrorist acts happen people often ask how someone could do this. What drive a person to this act?
It is simple they don’t have a mirror. I not talking about a physical mirror thou it is a useful visualization. When you wake up look at your self in a mirror you want the person looking back at you to like you. We feel guilt when we do something wrong. We look at our self and we crave to be good. We not perfect but we want to be the best we can. When you take away the mirror you have no reflection and with no mirror you can’t see the hate in your self. Then when you’re in a culture of people that can’t see the hate in themselves there is celebration instead of condemnation.
#7 agree, amen.
#10 I get a big tingle when I see or hear of our military or Israel doing a ‘job’ on these people. I just hope we elect someone who will not wait too long.

Hamas, Hezbollah, AQ etc. must all be crushed. Crushed so thoroughly and completely as to create a disincentive for Muslims to join radical jihad ever again.
Then and only then peace can be taught and for it to have an effect.
It occurs to me that the motive behind the left’s assault on the military, & recruiters in particular is the realization (although denied) that we are in a conflict where there is no political solution. There is no compromise, there is no negotiation. Appeasement is not an option. If we are to survive it will be because of military dominance. Win or die, simple really.
Our institutions slowly submit to Sharia, while it’s agents openly smite the innocent while claiming victim status… our leaders continue to tax us to finance their activities through foreign aid while our home-fires are dwindling… we talk about stimulus packages on one hand and finance the enemy on the other. A sad state of affaires.
The enemy has established a beachhead on our soil and we continue to support them one cup of coffee at a time, whilst bickering amongst ourselves…
I personally wish to live & live free.
Cry havoc! says I.
We need to help these folks achieve martyrdom in large batches - repeat until they agree to live like humans in the 21st century instead of animals from the 7th century desert.
The alternative is to line up so they can kil you infidels quickly.
Peace does not come from talking. It comes from victory.
Oh, Barrack Hussein…we await you comment.

Never under estimate the power of an enslaved people once they have grasped Freedom.
Exactly Jacob. We have not yet taken the gloves off in this war. Lebanon, Syria, Iran and Pakistani border areas all need some attention.
And when punks like the coward Amir Abdel Malik Ali show up to dance in excitement over the death of innocents, he should be thrown in the slammer for inciting violence against the Jews in particular and freedom in general.
The United States and 87 countries pledged 7.4 billion to the Palestinians/Hamas during the next three years (2007-2010). And what makes the deciders war on terror such a joke, not even thinking about the southern border fence that will not be built, America gave Hamas/Palestinians 555 million bucks this year. Boy can you ever kill a lot of Jews with that. Israel is our only stand up alley in the mid-east and we give their biggest enemy 555 million, one of the largest and strongest terrorist organizations, and the decider wants me to fear the terrorist and what vacating Iraq might do. Well look at the Bush do.
bit_boy , THANKYOU we are paying for this…
They want a moratorium on earmarks???
NOT ONE RED CENT FOR FORIGEN AID!
Can I get a witness?
Go to NRO and view the videos of Palestinians celebrating the slaughter just like they did on 9/11.
And they may be practicing for a Hillary or Obama presidency.
You’ve got a witness here … but it won’t do a lick of good. Before I explain why, let me express my deepest sympathies and heartache for those who have been slain by this latest act of terrorism.
Shooting up a seminary school; I can’t think of too many more cowardly things than that.
Brooklyn, why your idea, which is a good one on the surface won’t work is this: Foreign aid is but a drop in the bucket when compared to the dollars that we throw at them when we buy their oil.
How many hundreds of billions of dollars have we spent to purchase it? I’ve no idea, but I guarantee it’s a lot.
I wrote earlier in another thread about how to solve the problem … but nobody read it. That’s OK…I’m used to being ignored. I don’t take it personally any longer.
Just do me a favour, go back and read about how to break our dependance on their oil.
We could solve the problem within 5 years (10 at the outside) if we (the US) had the political balls to do so.
Remember when Billy Clinton got elected? What was one of the things he was talking about? Hydrogen fuel cells. But thanks to the money that the lobbyists for the oil companies spend, guess what got done?
Nothing.
Brooklyn, everybody: If we had the political will to solve the problem, we’d be a heck of a lot closer to solving it. Read my previous post. It takes willpower…willpower that we as a nation don’t have.
Withhold foreign aid? That’s like stopping a leaky faucet when the bathtub is already overflowing. Attack the problem at the source and see how quickly things change.
Which thread was that, Entropy40?
I work for a car maker, so I have a dog in that fight. I’m interested in your thoughts about Hydrogen.
As far as Arab oil is concerned, every living ex-president is on Saudi Arabia’s payroll, as well as the payroll of some smaller Gulf sheikhdoms. Why shouldn’t Bush the Younger and Condoleezza Rice look forward to their own bonanza when they leave office? If we had started a Manhattan Project for energy independence on 9/12 and invested the same amount of money we have poured into Iraq, we would have solved the problem by now if managed properly.
I just hope that none of the mourners were flashing moe-toons. That would have been totally unacceptable!!!
/is this necessary?
Entropy40 , you are right of course… 50 million is just a drop in the bucket.
But it does buy a whole lot of bullets & given my choice I know in what direction they would fly in. Oh wait your right again… we need to buy bullets from Israel cause we don’t make enough. Dang.
My point is brace for war because like it or not they are going to continue to bring it to us. What was the name of the Russian school?? Breslin I think … can’t remember they have attacked so many. Oh but it is our fault somehow we offended them… They like to target students, and your political solution was again… something with hydrogen atoms?? Excellent idea!!! Ohio boats can make very efficient use of hydrogen atoms.
schucks… juss sayin.
Maybe I missed it but I don’t remember hearing any outrage about this from any of our esteemed candidates for president.
But it’s the religion of peace, right? Waiting on Cair-crickets.
Mossad:
You know where the Madrassas are that produced these murderers. You know which Imams.
Kill Them.
SHoward, the link is http://michellemalkin.com/2008/03/05/the-glacier-messiah-ticket/
nbarry, YES. Exactly. That’s what it’s going to take. That, and keep the politics out of it (as if there’s any chance of THAT happening.)
Brooklyn, ::sigh:: Ok..you had a number of things in your comment. First, I know (and agree with you completely) that they are going to bring the war to us. Of that, I have no doubt. As for offending them? Um…we are talking about (as Michelle would say) the Religion of Perpetual Outrage. I don’t think that there is a way NOT to offend them. Other than submitting or converting, and I’ve no wish to do either. Remember Michelle’s tee shirt? That says it all.
And bullets, I’m afraid you’ve lost me on this one. I never said whom to buy them from. Mayhaps we should be making our own?
As for the political solution … I’m going to get flamed for this one. And Michelle, I apologize.
In my opinion, you can’t negotiate with the terrorists and with the radicals. They’re a lost cause. I’m not going to quote Glenn Beck because that might get my account terminated, but his solution wasn’t to sing Kumbaya.
My point, however, is this. Where does Saudi Arabia get most of its money from? Oil. So does the Saudi Royal Family. This is the same government that has made pleasant noises to our government about getting the phrases out of its textbooks that compare the Jewish people to “pigs.” Those same textbooks that talk about exterminating them. IF we could get the US and other countries (especially India and China which are growing rapidly) off of oil, I GUARANTEE it would cause quite a few changes in that part of the world.
Zorro, you are right again, as usual.
If Hamas - meaning “VIOLENCE” was TEACHABLE, th ey would have learned the lesson long before their median age was under 16 yrs of age.
When people can sacrifice their own children to their hatred, then they are NOT teachable.
Obadiah is a short book of one chapter that is an unfulfilled prophecy in the Old Testament of the Bible of the utter destruction of these people on the North side of Israel, who should have been BROTHERS to Israel in her hardship - but instead, they have la ughed at her distresses, and rather than help her, have done everything they can to finish her off - KNOWING she is the Apple of God’s Eye, and being so eaten up with JEALOSY over the fact that THEY KNOW SHE IS THE COVENANT HEIR to God’s Love, through Abraham, that they cannot stand the thought of her existence.
It is the complete epitome of utter and pure jealosy and envy.
If they have proven anything in 60 years - on top of 6,000 years - it is that they cannot be “TAUGHT” to love others.
Soon, and on this earth, their harvest will come home to them.
It is really creepy how totally and intricately and accurately that God describes these people before He pronounces their end upon them - from the beginning. About 3,000 years ago.
If the Muslims could be stopped any other way, and the Communists in league with them, then there would not be a Battle of humongous proportions at the foot of Israel, sometime in the foreseeable future (Ezekial 38 and 39), involving pretty much every single nation on earth - with ONLY ISRAEL ALONE ON ONE SIDE, and everyone else on the other side - WHICH ISRAEL WINS, thanks be to the direct intervention of God Almighty - followed 7 years later by the Battle of Armageddon.
If a war with the blood of combatants running bridle deep to a horse doesn’t teach these vicious, cold-blooded fools better than to touch the Apple of God’s Eye, if NOT to stop hating others so much, then American pacifists are certainly not going to stop them.
And I see no indication that the pacifists are about anything other than “busywork” to fool the idiot sleeping Conservatives into not getting up off their duffs and making a stand.
And it is working.
Israel continues to make peace and concessions, while Hamas, Hezbolah and radical Islam continue to terrorize.
I’m fed up, frankly. The sooner we go medieval on these jerks, the sooner real stability will ensue.
Well, I witness to NO FOREIGN AID to our enemies and for enemies of the human beings.
I’m disgusted with our politicians pretending they can use foreign aid as carrots for brutal dictators.
If we are going to throw carrots to the brutal dictators, then throw them the US politicians and diplomats, INSTEAD.
But I require we send foreign aid to such as Israel and a few few few nations which use the money to build a healthy community of their nations.
I think it is silly to suggest we get off oil before the technology has arrived, WHEN WE HAVE MORE THAN ENOUGH OF OUR OWN OIL, just because we think it is easier to get off of oil than it is for America to flush the STUPIDITY of ENVIRONMENTAL WHACKOS out of our bureaucracies and politicians HIND POCKETS.
These idiots need to be FLUSHED out of our government and out of POLICY-MAKING POSITIONS!
Everyone knows what common sense positions need to be adopted and i nstantly funded.
And where they don’t seem feasible it is generally because of environmental whackos that need to be expelled from American soil to some Devil’s Island where they have to live without the technology they demand everyone else surrender while their own carbon footprints merely ex plode - usually LITERALLY.
We need NUCLEAR POWER PLANTS, and we need water wheel electromagneto generators on the NIAGRA River and other large dams, etc, and we need oil from ANWR and the offshore rigs, etc.
And we need new refineries going online, and such states as do not want the REFINERIES AND PLANTS will be BANNED FOR BUYING THE ENERGY FROM THEM.
See who they feel like catering to, when they have no airconditioning and heating in their closed up skyscraper offices and their fancy homes.
And no power for their weather instruments and their earth quake instruments.
Like they say about TAX CUTS - MAKE THEM PAY FOR THEIR IDEOLOGY AS THEY GO!
Maybe THEY want to burn off their fat by walking on Generator TREADMILLS.
148 hours on the Generator Treadmill for every 5 minutes on a microphone.
Ombre Rose; You’ve made one of my points for me, and (I think) you’ve missed the other.
The point that we agree on is that there’s too much politics on every topic. Environmental concerns have, to some people, become a type of religion. Last time I checked, it wasn’t a religion, but some people seem to want it to be one. The Earth is warming, yes. But then so are Mercury, Venus, and Mars. Last time I checked, only Earth had humans.
Mankind is NOT causing the Earth to warm, but there are some people scream and shout that it is. If we’re going to solve the problems facing us, we don’t need those kinds of people. We need calm, rational people .. and that appears to be in thin supply these days. Everything is politicized.
At the risk of wearing out my welcome, since this really isn’t a scientific forum, let me just say that mankind is only producing a fraction of the CO2 in the atmosphere. Volcanism is doing the rest. But mankind’s contribution is enough to tip the balance. We’re not CAUSING the problem, but we’re not doing enough to curb our contribution to it. More refineries create another problem, the “NIMBY! Syndrome.” And, eventually, we’d run out of domestic oil.
Ordinary: that’s what Glenn Beck’s solution was. Unfortunately, we can’t reason with these people that are intent on wiping us out. For them, it’s a religious duty. Unfortunately, many of the madrassas are now radicalized and some of them are on US soil. Don’t forget about “Islamberg” in the Catskills.
The more I see things happening lately, the more I wonder if I’ll live to a ripe old age. And that’s scarey.
Religion of Peace my a$$, it’s a culture of death…we should help them find it. Best something is done soon or there will be nothing left to save. And good ‘o compassionate Jorge is telling the Israeli’s to be calm…what a farce he is.
Maybe he learned his lesson from having his administration go from promising to a total historical fiasco by letting the neoncons talk him into putting Israel’s interests before the interests of the U.S. and attacking Iraq. The other George, George Washington, had it exactly right:
