Investigating criminal alien arrests in Milwaukee
Frontpage Milwaukee has a special report on criminal alien arrests in Milwaukee. It’s good, basic coverage of the criminal alien revolving door. No open-borders propagandizing. No spin. Just the facts. Elizabeth Bolin reports:
One hundred eighty eight previously deported felons identified as illegal immigrants by federal and local officials were booked into the Milwaukee County Jail on new criminal charges, municipal violations, and other violations in the past four years, a three-month Frontpage Milwaukee investigation found.
That is between three and four arrests per week…
…Many of the previously deported felons have a long history of police contact. For instance, Osvaldo “Shootout” Lares had at least 19 interactions with law enforcement officials for crimes involving drug possession, weapon charges, murder, and traffic violations. Some on the list are gang members.
On Nov. 11, 2004, when the Milwaukee police came to arrest him on the charge of Attempted Homicide, they found $1,465 and marijuana in a shoebox. The criminal complaint also reports that marijuana was found in a plastic baggie hidden within a white sneaker. Lares was subsequently found guilty and sentenced to the House of Correction for 9 months. In a criminal complaint filed Nov. 5, 2004, Lares told police that he was a former member of the Mexican Posse gang, which represents Southern Mexico on the south side of Milwaukee.
In total, the felons had at least approximately 388 contacts with police and have been charged with at least 497 offenses dating back in some cases to 1986. The number of past law enforcement contacts is almost surely higher since the tallies only include those that resulted in criminal charges or non-municipal issued traffic offenses.
In addition, about nine previously deported felons have reoffended yet again after the federal detain holds were placed on them by the Milwaukee County jail, the Frontpage Milwaukee student journalists found.
Alfredo Rebollo is one example. Having already racked up 11 contacts with police for traffic violations, driving while his license was suspended, and reckless driving, a federal detain order was placed on him in 2005 for soliciting a prostitute. The criminal complaint states that Rebollo offered to pay a female $20 for oral sex. Though the detain order was placed on him in 2005, in October 2007, he was arrested for parking or standing in a prohibited area and his third offense of driving with a suspended license. He was fined. It is not clear if he was deported in 2005 and reentered the United States, or if he never left Wisconsin.
In light of the recent local immigration debate, the Frontpage Milwaukee team set out on a three-month investigation to see whether there are illegal immigrant inmates at the Milwaukee County jail or whether rhetoric about so-called “criminal aliens” is exaggerated. The issue gained new currency with the recent conviction of an illegal immigrant for murdering a Kenosha sheriff’s deputy.
How many are there in the Milwaukee County Jail? What did they do? It turns out no one knows for sure and, even when they are caught, not all of them are sent home. The FPM review appears to be the first of its kind in this state.
It should be replicated nationwide.

my Fabiano was overcome with emotion Friday as Circuit Judge Wilbur Warren read that the jury had found Ezequiel Lopez-Quintero guilty of first-degree intentional homicide and use of a dangerous weapon in the shooting death of her husband, Kenosha County sheriff’s deputy Frank Fabiano Jr.
Lopez-Quintero, 45, an illegal immigrant living in Kenosha, faces a mandatory life sentence for first-degree intentional homicide and up to an additional five years for use of a dangerous weapon. Warren said a sentencing date will be set soon.
The trial was moved to Racine County because of pre-trial publicity.
Fabiano, a former U.S. Marine and an 18-year veteran of the Sheriff’s Department, was gunned down on the night of May 16, 2007, while attempting a routine traffic stop in the Town of Somers.

It seems the Constitution is just a piece of paper. Every time I e-mail my Senators or call the Whitehouse comment line I ask when the part of the Constitution that says it’s the federal governments job to “protect all of the states from invasion” is going to be enforced. Apparently 15-30 million people here illegal somehow does not constitute an invasion?
Somebody, anybody, explain to me with facts and figures, why these people belong in my country? Get back to your own and figure out how to fix it. Or go through the legal process of coming to mine. Stop being a sponge, and become a contributor.
If 5% of people living in the US are illegal immigrants and they are responsible for 4% of all violent crime here, then they are less dangerous than the rest of us.
If you want to show that illegal immigrants make a serious contribution to US crime levels, you need statistics, not scare stories.
Frontpage Milwaukee’s Elizabeth Bolin has done her city a great service. Awareness of a problem is necessary to solve a problem. Now maybe more citizens will contact their elected officials.
Deport criminal aliens. All of them.
The part that got me was:

A) They are going to keep his moldy body locked up in the cell for up to 5 years after he’s dead
or
B) Life isn’t life, it’s just a few years they call life so that it can sound good for a few years before they let him back out again.

I have noticed that when Michelle (and other people who can and do think for themselves) post things that are very important to the survival of this country – people like lgm call them “scare stories”.
Out of professional courtesy, would you care to cite your sources?
And the results should be tatooed on the foreheads of every member of the House and Senate who was for the Immigration Reform Act of 2007. Those results should face them every time they look into a mirror.
Yet, I suspect, many there (including the women) would soon begin looking like the old men in Congress of the 1800’s, all with long beards, out of fear of shaving in the dark.

There is only one question to ask when deciding to end illegal immigration:
Are we a nation of laws or not?
We should end this because they are breaking our laws, not because they may or may not be responsible for more crime.
If we, as a nation, want to increase LEGAL immigration then let us do so. But looking the other way when crimes are committed should be cause for concern for all of us. Do you agree?
DirkBelig #12 in the Hastert thread summed up the situation with humor and truth by referring to the Bush Administration as an “eight year reign of error“. Mr. Lettuces Head graduated magna cum laude from Harvard College in 1975 and magna cum laude from Harvard Law School in 1978 but has there ever been a government agency as ineffective as the Department of Homeland Security/DHS. How many ways has DHS failed America. It has limp wrist enforcement, it can’t build a Duncan Hunter caliber fence, it failed the victims of Katrina, it does not enforce the enforcement of a nation of laws, and it fails to arrest and try those governmental figures who aid and abet illegal immigrants. I’m sure DHS employees have no trouble cashing their paychecks.
What do you expect when people like the troll defend the right of every scum, from every ignorant third world $h!t hole on earth to come here, and try to make the same of America. I’m going out Monday and buy some more ammo, the rest of you would be wise to do the same.
And let’s not overlook the fact that 100% of illegals are guilty of the (sometimes) non-violent crime of either entering the country illegally or overstaying a visa.
All crime–not just the non-violent variety–impacts victims.
I’m not sure about Wisconsin, but in most states “life sentence” runs 25-30 years and you get out in time to collect Social Security. The extra five years won’t help much, though.
I was surprised there was a conviction; his lawyer launched “so damn drunk, he didn’t know what he was doing” defense. Jury full of WI libs, that should have worked.
Anyway, the lawyer is appealing the conviction, because it’s not fair the widow was in the courtroom during the trial. I’ll tell you what’s not fair–her husband was killed by someone arrested in several states and never sent home.

I anticipate this will fail. Being in the courtroom is her right- same as anyone else’s. You can not deny her right to be there just because it hurts your case. Otherwise there would never be any witness testimony by any crime victims. Should be a no-brainer (as well as a waste of the court’s time) but then WI is a little bit “ninth-circuit-like” in some regards.

The reporter needs to follow up on this great story. This is what she needs to do…..
Find out who placed the I-247 detainer on the suspected illegal aliens. Then, find out where the ball was dropped. You see, before a prisoner with an I-247 hold on them can be released….the JAILER MUST contact the agency that placed the I-247 hold on them. So, one of tow things happened..
1. The Jail called the agency that placed the I-247 hold and were told they have nobody available to pick them up and to just release that subject.
2. The jail failed to contact the agency that placed the I-247 hold and simply allowed the subject to walk out of jail.
So, if I were that reporter, I would dig just a bit more, under the surface and place a HUGE SPOT LIGHT on the person(s), or agency that DROPPED the ball.
The whole purpose of placing that detainer (I-247 hold) is to ensure the Jail contacts the agency BEFORE releasing the subject!

Again, additional crimes are not the most relevant point. People all over the world want to come to the US of A because we are a nation of laws which apply to all- all ages, all races, all income levels. Allowing some to break these laws because of “need” is classical, liberal class-warfare rhetoric.
If we do not enforce these laws we will become the nation they are running from.
Perhaps out of his liberal compassion, lgm should take food everyday to this po* who killed the sheriff deputy. Every single Illegal Alien is a criminal. They committed a crime the MINUTE they crossed our border. Title 8 USC 1325. They are GUILTY when found by an Immigration Officer to be present in the United States without having been inspected nor admitted and not having documentation to that fact.
Now, once here, they continue to rack up their crimes. Sure, they might be more misdemeanors, but, crimes non the less. They take IDs of others, purchase forged or false documents, they obtain free social services, such as welfare and WIC. They abuse our school systems. They clog our hospitals’ ERs. Sure, we have to supply them with emergency medical care. Yet, they use them as Clinics.
The bottomline, where do we draw the line? What crime(s) do we forgive? I mean, how many crimes are we willing to over look? Will we demand they receive a criminal background check? A Medical screening? Where do we draw the line?

Today, in observance of Texas Independence Day (yes, I know I’m a week late), I wore my “Remember the Alamo” tie. It saddened me to think that there are people in this country who would undoubtedly label said tie a form of hate speech. In Charlotte, N.C. Hispanics are around 9% of the Population. In November 2007 according to a web site called crime in charlotte.com, they committed 18.4% of the Crime here. That is Legal and Illegal Aliens.

If lgm were a rationale person I would ask her how she justifies the fact that hundreds of citizens have died at the hands of illegal aliens (including drunk drivers), hundreds of women citizens have been raped by illegal aliens and hundreds of children have been molested by illegal aliens. 24.9% of all inmates in California detention centers are Mexican nationals here illegally;

More than 43% of all Food Stamps issued are to illegal aliens;
More than 41% of all unemployment checks issued in the United States are to illegal aliens;

On to the embarrassment that is law enforcement here in Milwaukee County (and the city of Milwaukee). They are pretty much sanctuary jurisdictions.
It depends on whether the judge includes the possibility of parole. If so, the absolute minimum is, IIRC, 20 years (plus 3 of the 5 additional). If not, there are but 2 ways out of prison for the con; over the wall and feet first.
I live in no where Mississippi and see them everywhere, especially wherever new construction is happening.
Tomorrow I am going to a new shopping center in Meridian where a new store next to our new Olive Garden is being built. I am going to go there with camera in hand and take pictures.
I am no cop, but people who don’t know me, think that’s my profession.
I hope I piss off some of the construction bosses….but mostly I hope a few of the vermin working those nice, good paying jobs, that us Americans are too damn lazy to work for get scared and leave.
Mostly I just want to cause a scene to bring attention to the illegals doing all of our construction work here denying US citizens the right to a decent and honorable job. It is a pretty busy little shopping center.
We are overall pretty conservative here in Mississippi, problem is most people are ill informed of the magnitude of the problems illegal workers bring to our country.

Mexico is doing what Fidel CAstro did years back, export its undesirables to the US. I lived in LA for most of my young life and I have to say, the illegals I ran across, were mostly either getting benefits, gangbangers, or nasty whistling at little girls types. I met VERY FEW who were hard working. Even the working ones would start drinking in the car on the way home from work, I used to live among them, I know what many many of them are like. Their kids were usually doing poorly in school, speaking broken English r no English, and mostly in gangs or acting like they wanted to kick everyone’s a**. And most of their men would stare and wistle at me and my firends when we were young, that is sick. They looked at us as if we were sexual objects, at the age of 12 or 13. It felt as if that was just acceptable in their country. SICK SICK SICK.
I hope the US does something about this because we don’t need people like that in this country. Let’s bring in people who want to be Americans, who will contribute.

Confiscate all their US assets, deport them, then put a price on their heads if they attempt to return. Dead or Alive.

The scumbag lawyer for Lopez-Quintero is seeking an appeal on the basis that Fabiano’s wife was in the court room and emotional during the trial. Too bad Mrs. Fabiano didn’t get to appeal the immigration laws of this nation – the ones that allowed Lopez-Quintero to kill her husband in the first place.

I hired a contractor to build a custom home.
Needless to say, he contracted it out to a bunch of illegals who stayed drunk, late, and I could not communicate with them whatsoever.
One even urinated in my backyard. I saw him. Not to mention, there was a portable potty in the front of the house.
Not only did they do the above, but the work was shoddy. Damages EVERYWHERE.
I have now sued my builder who never supervised and did not build the house to my expectations.
Thank you illegals for crapping on my house!
I even had to change my locks once I moved in. The dang builder left keys in the house for anyone to copy or obtain.

We don’t need to deport them all. Just start enforcing the laws and deport a few. The rest, once they see they can’t make a living here, will follow. I know, I’m dreaming. We live in a “what’s in it for me?” society now, so the country’s security isn’t very important to a lot of people. Budgets, now, are based on “entitlements”. There isn’t much left for enforcement of immigrant laws.
How about this statistic:
By violating our immigration laws in coming here, 100% of the illegal aliens are committing a crime regardless of what else they are doing. With 100% of the population committing a crime, that is a significant contribution to crime levels.
ALL of these stories should be sent to the three candidates & the question asked – “what will YOU do about this?” Is there anyone on this blog in a state that hasn’t had a primary yet who could do it?

The same type of statistics in my #36 post are of items I’ve collect along the way and I have no authentication or reference. However, their are 2800+ web sites that have similar illegal alien social impact postings. And this is very interesting, most all such sights reference the 2006 (1st Qtr) INS/FBI Statistical Report on Undocumented Immigration as their authority. I lost way too much sleep trying to find such a report on the internet, to no avail. I’m not saying no such report ever existed, look out LaRaza would never let the INS/FBI publicly report such for long, but try to now find it is to try finding fly specs in the pepper. I guess I was just imagining on the news a couple of months ago about how some illegal immigrant smashed his car into two innocent teenage girls in Virginia Beach, huh, lgm?
