Monday moocher of the morning
Remember when I blogged about the stimulus-palooza-driven campaign to extend unemployment benefits? As I pointed out at that time “temporary” extensions are never temporary. The Senate GOP, thank goodness, blocked the lard-up. For now, anyway.
If they hadn’t, losers like this would have been popping champage corks. Via the Washington City Paper (language warning):
When the federal economic stimulus package hit the news in January, my latest run on unemployment was just going dry, and the mere prospect of getting another job was enough to make my testicles retract into my body. When reports surfaced that a three- or six-month (!!) unemployment extension was going to be part of the package, it seemed like government was finally doing something for the little guy, instead of just the fat cats and whiny Christians. I spent the next two weeks Google News-ing “unemployment extension economic stimulus” every 10 minutes.
When the package including the extension failed by one vote, I was so fucking pissed at the United States government that if an al-Qaeda recruiter had pitched me at that moment, I’d be in the Afghanistan desert as we speak, screaming Arabic at the top of my lungs while bayoneting an Uncle Sam mannequin.
I’ve been on unemployment three times in the past six years. Each time was better than the last, and each time I stayed on until the last cent was exhausted. I didn’t even try to get a job; it was a paid vacation. This is somewhat unusual from what I can tell. There’s a deep vein of antipathy in this country toward collecting checks from the government, especially in precincts that tend to skew rightward. Politicians imply that it’s un-American for an individual to milk the government, all while jacking up corporate welfare for their campaign contributors. And your uncle who cheered at the end of Easy Rider? He insists that if he had to obliterate 40 years of his life punching a clock, why should you goddamn hippies have it any better?
If you don’t want to lose your breakfast, don’t read any further:
Given a choice between getting a check every week for doing nothing and getting a check every week for flushing 40 hours of the prime of their lives down the toilet, they chose the latter. I mean, what kind of self-hating, masochistic Protestant bullshit is that?
Not only do I feel no guilt whatsoever about sucking from the state’s teat, I feel that I’m absolutely entitled to it. First of all, the employer that fired me pays for half of my unemployment, and fuck them…
The teat-sucker is a real piece of work. Is he exaggerating? Will he claim this is satire? This much is guaranteed: If losers like him wait around long enough, they’ll get more government subsistence. As stupid and wasteful as they are, Washington is stupider and more wasteful.
The insatiable culture of entitlement lives on.

Reminder: Clinton and Obama voted for the lard-up package including the unemployment benefits extension measure.
McCain somehow managed to miss the vote.

The only thing that is truly temporary in government is a tax cut.
I teach at an urban school where we have 38 pregnant girls, none of whom will identify the “baby daddy”. They get a free apartment, food stamps and a cash card loaded with $485 per month. Plus special recognition at school where they go to parenting classes with treats! They will never put the childs father on the birth certificate because then they are expected to seek support. Many of the girls openly taunt the teachers: “you pay me every month-why should I work?” Michigan has one of the highest teen pregnancy rates in the country as a result of our “compassion”. I can still remember the days when the pregnant girl disappeared to live with an aunt and the embarrassed family moved from town.
If this man is ever in a lifeboat situation, he will be the first pitched over the rail to feed the flounders – if they will have him, that is. Come to think of it, his last few employers obviously thought the same way.
His mother must be so very proud…
I’ve been on unemployment three times in the past six years. Each time was better than the last…
First of all, the employer that fired me pays for half of my unemployment….
3 times in 6 years….and all indications are- you were FIRED 3 times.
I think this guy is one sandwich short of a picnic. And liberals want me to pay for this guy?
Unbelievable.
Yes the Democrats morphed from the KKK roots they began after the civil war into a new strategy to keep minorities in bondage…..WELFARE!
Martin Luther King was a registered republican, the dems knew after the Civil Rights Act, that they had to come up with a grand scheme to secure the black vote. WELFARE and victimization!
What is more disgusting is that the illegals have figured out how to tap into the welfare system at US citizens/ TAX PAYERS expense.
All this is a way of life. They never will go to work , or tell who”the baby daddy”is because then they would get no more free stuff. Those girls will keep having babies for more of our money. Here is how to stop it…you have another baby and wont give up the father…NO MORE MONEY!!! PERIOD!!!!!
I dont know, I’m somewhat sympathetic to this guy. I used to see the same useless crap where I worked. It does get tiresome and most times it’s hard to take seriously, but there’s no getting away from it.
Huh?!
Filing a false unemployment claim is illegal.
Yes work can be tiresome, especially in a job you hate but hells bells; I have never been on the dole, been paying in since I was 15 and have helped support some of our own people who comment on this board when they were on it. Then they turn around and say people like me have a “superiority complex”. Please.
Yes, this babies galore for welfare needs to stop. 1 year should be the max these people get but no, then you’re called mean hearted.
I’m tired of supporting those who won’t support themselves. Obviously this guy who writes this has no shame. This is a serious problem as far as I’m concerned. I guess why work when you have good and honest people working for you. I used to have a bumper sticker on my old car that read “Work Hard Millions on Welfare Depend on YOU!”. Can’t find another to replace it on the new one. Sure wish I could.
I drove a young black
lady, girl from my apartment complex, who has a baby, to the community college we were both attending. She told me whatever she needed she just requested through her counselor at human services. She would even be taken shopping and would pick out the most expensive items, clothing, dishware, furniture, etc…She said that when they/we/taxpayers buy her a car, they/we/taxpayers will give her a gas ration for the month. She also has her rent paid, school, food….
I served for 24 years in the Army to get the money to pay for my education through my GI Bill. Why would anyone want to join the military, when they get better benefits off of you/me/taxpayer?
No, I do not believe this problem is limited to just the black community.
They seem to be the only ones that can easily scam us/me/taxpayer by being the victim without any real documentation.
Franklin Schneider is a real piece of work. No wonder he would rather be “sucking from the state’s teat“. He has the roles reversed in his head as to who calls the shots in a business.
This guy will vote Dimocrap for one reason – they will pay him to.
every child recieving aid should be required to submit to DNA testing.
Every person convicted of any crime(even missdemeanors) should be required to submit to DNA testing.
My guess is you’ll locate 95% of the daddies.
If they have jobs, garnish their wages. No job, pick up trash on the streets, cut the grass at the schools, shovel snow, etc..
About 8 years ago we caught someone stealing cash from another employee on security camera. There was no question about who it was, what they did, etc.
Theft, en flagrante.
We fired them, but the owner wouldn’t press charges even though a crime had been committed. I could get him to challenge the unemployment, however, so we did – specifically because of scumbags like the one who wrote his little temper tantrum here. We didn’t think it was right to pay for this man’s vacation.
It came before a judge.
This was in NY State.
Do you really need to ask how it played out?
The judge agreed “yes, that’s him, and he clearly stole the cash… but that doesn’t mean he’s not entitled to be paid after you fire him.”
My reply of “Your honor, the only thing this person deserves is jail time” almost got ME in the pokey.
So the real question is, who’s the bigger bottom feeder: the punk who wrote this article, or the pigs who empower him?
And, as Michelle pointed out, two of our candidates staggered up to the trough proudly, while the other did what he always does – stay in the shadows until he has to reveal his porcine tendencies.
Should be a fun four years…
This illustrates why we need a Democratic Administration, combined with a Democrat-controlled Congress — in order to ensure that the nation’s wealth will be re-distributed from the producers, to those poor, unfortunate non-producers…
Ken, I actually agree. The faster we completely collapse the quicker we can all come back to the center right and rule of law.
I’ve been “unemployed” twice in the past, and both times, I worked waiting tables and busing tables to make ends meet. No sympathy here. I filed for unemployment but was working in a week. No much, but it paid the bills while I kept looking. Learn to take care of yourself, instead of looking for “papa” government. It’s called integrity, self-respect and determination to succeed.
Rooster, I can relate a similar story. When I was an undergrad at the University of South FL in Tampa, I was standing in line with a number of fellow vets picking up our GI Bill papers to take to the cashier. Also in line were those with loans as well as women like you describe. About 3 people in front of me was a white girl basically spouting the same thing this girl you took to school was. She was telling this other girl behind her that she should have a baby and then she could get it all for free too instead of getting a student loan. It was a long line and that little bit of info got around pretty quickly. I thought there was going to be a riot. I told her she was scum and she said she was smarter than me because she didn’t risk her “a$$” for this country in the war (Desert Storm) to get Uncle Sam to pay her way to college. I said she was trash and a loser and that she could put lipstick on herself and get a degree but she would always be a pig. Others laughed and said that was true. In 2001, when I was working in Hinesville, GA, at a high school there was a woman (though not the same one but one just like her) who related one day her story of how she went to college with her “bastard child”-her words for free. Then she went on to relate how her and her E-4 husband had declared bankruptcy and all the goodies they got by crying a river to some Judge. She was a Math teacher of all things but she wasn’t very good at that either because she was “let go”-very unusual in the middle of the year by January.
Ken M. is preaching a sad truth.
Can you imagine what will happen if the Dems get control of both houses of Congress and the White House?
#16 & 17, That is exactly right. It should only take two years of Obama before we get congress back than two years later we get it all…Allah willing….
If some of these people that learn “to play” the system would put half the effort into work than what they put in to “getting over” they would be millionaires…
terrig, I spent my last 20 years in the military in Germany and know how resentful the Germans who actually work are against those who stay home instead of work.
This girl who I drove to school never understood how much she opened my eyes and taught me a lesson on how much welfare is being spent in our country. Their welfare is a good one, BUT, they make you follow strict rules to get those benefits.
The freeloader/victim also has a 16 year old sister with new baby, and her thoughts were; the money is free, why not?
Sorry, by their welfare I meant the German system.
I’ve been on unemployment several times in my life. I was grateful for it, as it allowed me to focus full-time on finding a job. But, I also hated every minute of it. I felt just completely WORTHLESS!
I had to look at my son and realize I wasn’t taking proper care of him. My wife had a job then. I had to watch her go to work while I stayed home and realize it was MY responsibilty to work.
But, then again, I was raised to believe I was responsible for myself and my family. Not the government.
Flint?
A neighbor has 3 daughters, all unwed moms. The oldest, in her 20’s, finished school, got a job, and off welfare. The younger 2, 17 & 15, are still in school. Hopefully, they’ll follow in their sister’s footsteps. The parents, unmarried, are both on assistance. dad’s unable to work, due to a “medical condition” with no symptoms of any kind. Since they’re not married, mom gets a check, too. It’s nice to know that I worked for 40 years in a GM plant so they can have “the good life”.
As a single mom with children, I can tell you that I would not have been able to survive periods of unemployment without that check. I paid into the system so I used it… I didn’t like it, but I did what I had to do to provide for my family.
For me, unemployment is a miserable state best ended at the earliest opportunity. It was very hard on my self esteem to be out of work.
This one is an entirely different animal though… he actually prefers sporadic periods of work supplemented by months of state benefits and unfortunately, there are a lot of people like this out there. They plan their periods of employment very carefully to exploit the system.
Re: extensions… there are some people who could really use extensions, like those of us up here in Michigan who are stuck here and simply can’t find jobs (and yes, it really is that bad here). You may be lucky enough to land a job, but there’s no guarantee that its’ going to last. I’ve had two good jobs now that simply died on the vine because we had no work to do.
So how do we go about routing the exploiters like this man out of the system, while protecting the otherwise hard-working and responsible folks who really need these temporary benefits?
Dirty leeching scum.
Terrig / All:
I’ve experienced this attitude before. It is precisely this attitude that makes me worry for our country. Most Americans these days are accustomed to letting others fight for them. IIRC, this is one of the symptoms of the downfall of a civilization. People like to draw corollaries between us and ancient Rome, here is one.
Reading the above article I *ALMOST* felt silly. There are losers in this country whom my tax dollars pay for, whilst I, even though I’m sure I qualified for unemployment once or twice immediately after leaving the Army, was always too stubborn to accept a cent from Uncle Sam (not including college, of course). Meanwhile, these folks feel *entitled* to collect. *sigh*. What a f**kup this guy is.
The only way to stop the leeching is toughen the rules and enforce them for everyone…..sorry, I forgot we aren’t a nation for enforcing our laws, rules or regulations. Unless it fits into the special interest template.
So, Frank Schneider thinks that individuality will be lost because employees have to do their jobs? I guess Mr. Schneider believes that the democrats will fix this. Yeah, right. Individuality in socialism. What a brain donor. No wonder why he never filled out the spreadsheet documenting his creative process. Well he did give the boss the spreadsheet. It was blank.
Are you referring to actual vacation time or are you saying his unemployment vacation?
If you are referring to actual vacation time, the judge was right. Under the laws of NY State, based on their labor rules, the guy would be entitled to his vacation pay. If he worked it, he earned it. The theft is a side issue.
If you are referring to the actual unemployment benefits, your employer should have had an attorney handle the case, and he/she should have pressed charges. Employers do background checks on potential hires and that would have shown up. Instead, the employer passed this theif off onto the next unsuspecting employee. Employers are limited as to what can be said about a previous employee, but a police report shows up on a background check.
You may have thought you said the right thing in court, but you actually hurt the employers case. The guy should have been sitting in jail or at the very least, charges with restitution etc. He didn’t have any of that because the employer didn’t file charges, therefore the judge can see he is a theif based on the tape, but he has no legal paper trail backing it up. In this particular case, it was your boss that was the “pig who empowered him”
Peejz-Right on! Exactly right, the judge had no choice and the employer, hopefully is hardened for the next incident.
Some people will work harder to not work…
Piece of crap. Poster-boy for the entitlement crowd.
This is probably a mix of satire and stupid. The Washington City Paper is a disgraceful rag. I stopped reading it after they printed a cover article detailing a man trying to sleep with as many women as possible.
(LINK – but please note that this article is very graphic. Especially disturbing considering its read by many people teens.)
The City Paper funds itself with escort services ads and is totally useless save for one column on local politics. Anytime someone has a problem with the paper, they should just ignore it. That’s what most Washingtonians do.
In order to receive unemployment benefits you must be actively seeking work. You certify this each time you receive a check. It is done under penalty of perjury. Is this fellow going to be charged with a crime, now that he has stated publically he receives these benefits even though he is not actitively seeking employment?
I didn’t find the writer’s statements themselves very interesting but for the remarkable – for its rarity – display of intellectual honesty.
Most people like this spend their whole lives living a collection of lies as artiles of faith. They spend much time engaged in misdirection, cloaking and rationalizing what they really think.
Which makes me wonder: ordinarily I attest liberalism and leftism to mental disorder. The multiple psychological avoidance mechanisms – denial, displacement, projection, paranoia and deceit – that libs/lefties rely upon to cope with the real world are ordinarily the first evidence supporting that conclusion.
So, what does it say about the mental state of someone who skips all the pseudo-intellectual toe-dancing and just flat-out admits to his desire to live as an adult ward of the state?
A “refreshing liberal,” I suppose. And an intriguing replacement possibility for Alan Colmes…
What a loser.
Every government run program is seriously flawed yet liberals continue to want to place more responsibility into the government’s hands.
What happened to the welfare-to-work program?
My stomach hurts….
Anybody want to bet this turkey is still living with Mommy and Daddy?
And it’s a big surprise that the economy is tanking?!?
When they elect the black messiah, they will get what they are wishing for…..
Thus the current attitude by many Americans that the deck is somehow “stacked against” them and they can’t achieve success. Wow, working 40 hours a week is a waste of time for this person? Is this America or Europe?
As someone said, the road to Hell is paved with liberals…
This is just more proof that our liberal policies since FDR have created an ever-growing class of whiny parasites who are, or who will accept, being dependent on government and do absolutely nothing on their own initiative to better their lives.
I’m with Paul – “if any would not work, neither should he eat.” No more free rides in the wagon – kick them out and make them help pull.
YOUR tax dollars at work.
Same as stealing in my opinion.
What an incentive to keep being a law-abiding citizen.
Maybe it’s time we sink to their levels.
I don’t think there are many people who, when having trouble, don’t have a fantasy of being taken care of by benevolent, surrogate parents, which is projected onto the state however, I think most of us intuitively understand that in order to feel good about ourselves as adults, we must accept responsibility for our lives which includes paying our own way. This guy has apparently not figured that out.
This is a societal issue that is serious. Why do people feel they don’t have to work and are entitled to money from someone else’s paycheck? Our society is so focused on “happiness” and “fun” that people begin to think that to be happy and have fun matters most. We live in an entertainment era and are spoiled. The next generation of kids (for the most part) are the most spoiled bunch yet – watch your teenagers in town sometime. I bet most of them have some sort of fancy video gaming system, a cell phone, an I-pod and a decent car. Did they work for it? Of course not….Mom and Dad just gave it to them. I remember reading in my Adolescent Psychology textbook back in college (late 90s) that some sociologists believe that teenagers working during high school can be detrimental to their development and will take time away from their studies and the carefree lifestyles of teens.
I am 33 yrs old and began working the moment I could when I was 15. Why? Because I was the oldest of 4 kids and my parents didn’t have any money. I wanted a car and they said “fine – get a job.” And I did. I worked through HS and college – all my siblings did. My parents never let us feel entitled or that they “owed” us.
This entitlement mentality begins at home and parents are as much to blame as
the government’s pathetic welfare system.
Come again?
The way this letter was written sounds a bit fishy.
It sounds almost too stereotypical to be true, almost like a hoax.
I think some trustworthy investigator(s) should vet this article and the author (unless this vetting has already been done), before all of us commenters end up looking like we commented on a literary example of the Piltdown Man.
But, if this is an actual person stating his opinion, then he is an arrogant parasite that needs to be picked off and thrown far, far away.
In all the years I have been in managment I finally figured out how to get rid of pains in the ass like this moron.
I had a guy that worked for me that started out to be a good employee but as soon as he had 3 quarters in. his good employee status deteriorated rapidly, he started bieng 10 min. late daily and would only do half of what he was asked to do. Working with him for 9 months I learned he was a unemployment whore by his own admission. I asked him to be on time and to do all of the work he was asked to do, his reply was “If I don’t what are you going to do fire me, go ahead do me a favor I’ll just take a vacation on the company.” I told him “No, I’m not going to fire you, I simply want you to be here on time and do what your asked.” he say’s “we will see about that.”
Enter my ingenious idea
I started by cutting his hours, he was a 40 hr. week employee so I cut his hours down by 1/3 to 27 hr/wk, he looked at the schedule and said “whats this? you cut my hours?” I told him when he could show up on time and do what I asked he could recover his 13 hours a wk, he continued to be late and not do what was asked, so I cut his hours the next week to 18 hr./wk, he protested “why did you cut my hours again?” I told him “I asked you to be on time and do what I asked but you have’nt done so, but you can recover your 22 hrs when you show up on time and do what is asked of you.” he continued to be late not do as I asked, so the next week I cut his hours again to 12 hrs/wk, he protested “how am I supposed to pay my bills on 12 hours a week” I told him “I dont know but if you were on time and doing what I asked you would’nt be having this problem” so he continued to be late and I scheduled him for 1 hour a day for 7 days, he looked at the schedule and not saying a word walked out, he did’nt show up that week thinking he was going to force me to fire him, he came in that weekend and looked at the schedule and said “well I guess I’m fired, I don’t see my name on the schedule” I said “no your not fired, I’ll call you when I need you.” needless to say I did’nt need him anymore. He tried to collect uneployment and I naturally denied it, when asked why I was denying it I said “I did not fire him, he is still an employee of this company.” UNEMPLOYMENT DENIED! INVESTIGATION INTO FRAUDELENT UNEMPLOYMENT CLAIM STARTED.
LMAO
Moron thought he was smarter than I. Gotcha!
Granite, it’s the City Paper. So it doesn’t have to be true.
I’d be shocked if this story were accurate as well.
Please don’t think that I was trying to stick it to the employer, as that was not my intention. The point is that we have laws in place to protect workers and employers.
Many people don’t even understand their rights and responsibilities when it comes to collecting, let alone the amount of employers that don’t even bother to study the law.
Example from the poor state of MI: Last June, my brother(46 yrs old) was part of a major downsizing. He made a six figure salary. He was given a severance package. On July 1, if he had no job that automatically covered him on day 1, he would need to either go without insurance, or pay $1200.00 per month COBRA payments. Short history, his son is a cancer survivor and one doesn’t play with fire, you pay the $1200.00 because you never know what will happen.
He and I are talking about the COBRA amount, and I said that in effect, his unemployment would cover that cost. He could collect $300 per week. He and I got into it about who was right, blah blah blah..here’s the deal: His employer cut the check but didn’t specify that his severance was to cover x amount of weeks, instead, according to the law, he got a check to cover 1 week, so the state penalized him for that 1 week and he could collect after that. I am not sure that he was able to get the full 300+/week or not, but he was able to excersize his right to unemployment insurance. It shouldn’t matter if you are at the top or the bottom of the pay scale, it is insurance that an employer pays, and you have the right to collect it.
As for the idiot in the example that Michelle offered…States are cracking down on this..slowly, but it is happening. I can only go by MI law, and it is pretty clear that beyond the 26 weeks, barring a handicap(which is another topic altogether), he wouldn’t be collecting as he is in his story.
MI requires that you put a resume into the system and that you are seeking employment. They help you find a job. (think of a Monster.com type system) There is a period where the benefits are cut off..like a full 26 weeks and during that 26 weeks, there is a period where you need to have held a job with 32 hours/week (?), for minimum I believe, 4 months but I think it is more. To try and collect beyond the 26 weeks in very difficult. I will give the state credit on that.
He has a track record of these types of op-eds. It sounds fishy because he is so damned blunt and honest about his desire to milk the system.
This guy touches on a lot that is wrong with white-collar corporate America. The irony is that it is progressive ideas that have been infused with human resources in the office environment to which this slacker so vehemently objects. After hours team-building? Crushing the individual’s spirit for the good of the collective? These aren’t the bases of capitalism. This is nonsense being taught at business schools and making its inexorable way into the American office.
But even without the egregious silliness that he describes, this pinhead would still find a way to lose his job. He confounds his values with his arrogant self-importance and rationalizes that his ends of being free of a spectacularly puerile work life are justified by his means of bilking the rest of us by abusing unemployment benefits.
That’s the part of this that enrages me.
I understand not liking work, hating the idiot boss and the servile co-worker. I understand not wanting to put in long hours for little pay and feeling like your wasting your life for the enrichment of a few at the top of the org chart. I understand that seeking solace in alcohol or the acquisition of toys and symbols of prosperity is a foolish and empty objective.
But I don’t understand and I don’t buy the justification for playing the system so that all of those bad things can be avoided.
I’m all for Franklin being non-employed. I’m glad he has the nerve to confess his game plan. But the immorality (and illegality) of being consciously on the dole in order to avoid even supporting the modest lifestyle he claims to lead undermines all of his arguments and complaints.
He is just another lazy kid who taints hardworking people who use unemployment as a bridge.
For someone who is as smart as you claim, Franklin, one would think riches and success (however you want to define it) are just around the corner.
About 15 years ago, I was laid off from work and it took me almost 5 months to get a regular job. I worked temp and contract jobs, sent out resumes, did research and talked to people. In short, I spent every day looking for work. On those days when I was at home, I did maintenance on the house, I painted the whole house and installed rain gutters and did a lot of overdue yardwork. I also took my kids to and from school, their sports practices, music lessons etc. What I didn’t do was collect unemployment. My ex-wife would come home everyday and ask the kids, “did your jerkoff father get a job yet?” Yes, it was the time of my life when I could have given up, drank, done drugs or left. I did none of that. I believe that it is in the times of our deepest despair that we discover our real character. We also discover who our real friends and loved ones are. Hard times can be an opportunuty, they were for me.
It is not just those who are dependent on government handouts that are parasites. Let’s not forget that those liberal policies are still being vigorously carried out by liberal bureaucrats. They do nothing to discourage the “give me” attitude of those who recieve benefits. They advertise for and encourage these whiney parasites to become and continue to remain their “clients”.
After all, without the entitlement recipients, The bureaucrats wouldn’t have their government jobs. These bureaucrats too are parasites on the government dole, so to speak, as their livelihood depends on taxpayers for their wages and benefits just as much as the parasites they feed depends on the taxpayer.
#2 Perdo4 said:
There is no way that a viable form of government can continue like that. Over time, the dependent will overtake those who provide (as has been the case in many urban centers over the years.)
I used to naively believe that liberals just didn’t understand the laws of supply vs. demand and human psychology. Now I understand that they know them better than I do; they go a step further and are willing to let the greater good be destroyed in order to achieve their own personal and/or political benefit.
Sounds like 99.9% of the mindset in The New Orlean’s 9th ward.. the same mind set that the Democrats want to spread across America. A Mindset that guarantees economic, and social slavery to the Rich, Better than thou, Democratic Party Empire.
You think there is class warfare now…wait till Hussein Obama and/or Hillary push their policies (McCain’s are almost as bad too). There will be only 2 classes… them (One being Rich Elites, and the other being the rest of us living hand to mouth from the gov’t). We will know our place then..and won’t be able to do anything about it… A Loss of every freedom period!!
That’s great that it made you stronger, but don’t lose site of the fact that the unemployemnt insurance is there as a safety net and it is your right to collect it. There is absolutely no shame in collecting it. Your employer paid into that fund every month, in your name. Obviously, it doesn’t pay enough to support a family, and the incentive is for you to go out and find a job that will.
In today’s world where the honest guy gets screwed by everybody else, the last thing that guy should be doing is screwing himself.
times like this, one of michael savage’s propositions sounds mighty good; “Remove all welfare for all able-bodied workers and force them to find work”
What a piece of crap this person is, and I bet he’s a lefty hero because that’s what all those liberals schmucks wish they could be doing.
With any luck at all when Franklin next goes to the unemployment office to collect a check he will be run over by a bus or maybe a large truck–hopefully traveling at a high rate of speed. Of course, the rest of us will probably have to pay to bury his sorry ass.
Yo, buttmunch. Al-Qaeda is still hiring. Why don’t you go ahead and volunteer? You’d last about 3 days in any desert, and then we would all be out of our misery.
I just realized that this is the same author as the piece I linked to earlier in the thread.
The writer is a waste of humanity. He has no business being published. He has proven that he hates women and that he hates himself.
Either he is the worst kind of human being or his schtick is simply tired and old.
In South Carolina, the employee does not pay in to the unemployment fund, that is paid in its entirety by the employer. Generally, if an employee quits their job they’re not entitled to unemployment. This also holds true if they’re fired from their job.
– just the type of person the democraps want – the more of these the better.
Let’s pause for a minute and think what a real Marxist would do when confronted with a fraud like this guy. He thinks his ideas there are Marxist and that he is just getting back what he’s put into the system. Think again. A real Marxist expects everyone to be at work on time for his crap job for his lousy pay because it’s for the common good that he do so. I don’t think this guy will find much support either on the capitalist right or the communist left, even if he does get sympathy on the “work sucks” angle.
There’s one upside to this guy’s waste of ink by his writing this article. With his own admissions read by so many now, it’s going to be mighty hard for him to get unemployment ever again, I bet.
And i’m suppose to vote for McShame…”he is much more conservative” bull, she’s a carbon copy of Jorge…a liberal.I can not vote for him…and don’t throw the SC at me either…what makes you think he wouldn’t appoint Hitlery if he was able to defeat her or Hussein Obamy. He does like to reach across the isle, wait, he doesn’t have to reach for those 2, their all the on the same side.
Why do I have the feeling this is like that article about women some time back–a very plausible satire?
