This Rolling Stone cover is a prime example of why I don’t trust the MSM coverage of Obummer. The halo around this guy is too much. Why can’t the media treat this guy like a real human being instead of some hero of mythic proportions?

Obama doesn’t remind me of the Messiah as much as a cross between “The Music Man” and Christopher Reeves’ character in the movie, “Somewhere in Time.”
As a socio-political charlatan, like the Music Man Obama is such a hypnotic con artist that even people who should recognize him as a fraud fail to do so, or even end up protecting him; and this is because those same people, like Christopher Reeves’ character, so desperately want to turn the clock back to 9/10 (or even earlier) that they convince themselves they can make it happen by just wishing for it hard enough.
Two consequences will occur as soon as the whole, “Who-needs-to-wait-around-for-the-second-coming-of-Jesus-Christ-when-we’ve-got-Obama-right now!” veneer wears off: First, a lot of the starry-eyed fools who think he really *is* some kind of Messiah are in for a huge case of buyers’ remorse; and second, those not under his spell are going to become so sick and tired of hearing the term “racist!” that the tactic of using that epithet to stifle debate will end up backfiring on those who use it.

On two occasions, (and it’s probably happend more than that) Fox News has run a 15-minute biography of Obama on primary days. I think I saw one of them on the day of the SC Dem primary when there were still other candidates running on both sides. I haven’t noticed them doing this for any other candidates. Fox has obviously been seduced by this man’s charms just like the rest of the MSM. There’s no longer any television news organization that I can trust for fair and balanced coverage of news and politics. It’s sad because Fox used to have credibility, but in the last year or so, I’ve seen it begin to erode.
I don’t about this, I redcall many years ago a piece on Jimmy the scold Carter in the RS, and look where he ended up, the only postwar one-term president to date.

For those unfamiliar with the term “Magic” or “Numinous” Negro, it refers to a peculiar Hollywood fantasy, in some ways similar to the “Hooker with a heart of Gold” of the black person with transcendent, even supernatural powers, who just loves white people (can’t get enough of them really) and who lives to help them through whatever life crisis they have currently got themselves into.
Example movies include “The Green Mile,” “The Legend of Bagger Vance,” and anything with Morgan Freeman. Whether it be getting the girl, improving one’s golf game, saving the planet, solving the crime, or overcoming any residual father issues, the Numinous Negro is there to get the job done with wisdom, panache, and well, magic. The fact that the Magic Negro, like the Unicorn, does not exist is no deterrence to the fantasy. Hollywood keeps churning it our, year after year, and sadly it appears millions of awesomely stupid white people have bought into it. It’s like an adult believing in Santa Clause — one wants desperately to hide in embarrassment, but it won’t go away.
Repeat: the Magic Negro does not exist, will never exist, cannot exist. For example, if you find yourself in a prison environment (e.g. “The Green Mile”) and a large black man grabs for your groin, he is not trying to cure your bladder infection. He means to hurt you, badly.
So why didn’t you post it for us? I am glad to know that we have you out there keeping an eye on the media for Obamexaggerations!
