Vintage Duh-I guess duh is the correct name for you. When one teaches History (as a class it should be capped) one teaches the nuts and bolts of the situation but in WW2 the music, movies, etc. was very important to the guys and gals fighting and those on the homefront. Sorry you missed out on that tidbit, it may have added to your overall educational experience.

Okay. After both of them I am crying like a baby. And I had to answer the phone.
There are people here in the Childrens’ Hospital caring for whomever’s child is sick, despite the Liberal and Academian
Leadership that is pervasive here, that
carry on doing what they love and show their love of country doing it.

I just got word last evening an old coworker’s teenage son will be going either into the police academy or firefighting. The spirit of service lives on in a new generation!

Awesome Kate Smith and Cactus Cuties – (can’t listen to Whitney just yet.)

Our own Bessie Kvidera sang God Bless America every Memorial Day in the village park where everyone (300+) gathered for a service after the parade. We had many WWII heroes for a little town!

My sister is in Hawaii visiting the Bowfin Submarine Memorial Park and Museum. We were little girls when we became Gold Star Sisters.

Ironically, a Canadian singer has what, IMHO, is one of the best versions of that song
