Sharon Jasper. Remember her?
No surprise: She’s in trouble again.

Shocking!

Anyone else having trouble accessing that page?
Here’s a backup in case it’s not just me.
As an unrepentant “white boy,” I am sure it is my fault somehow…
Link’s not working…reading database error.
I got it fine…
The audacity of the entitlement mindset makes my head hurt.
That Booooosh and his Katrina are still around?
/sarc off
Thanks Mookie, I couldn’t access it through the original link.
Thanks Mookie because the link didn’t work….these people are comedy in and of themselves…they are truly parasites.
I like that descriptive term, “long-time protester”. I wonder if this position has a 401(k) and health benefits?
It’s time for us to just stand tall and tell “certain” people that we are not at fault, never were and never will be at fault. The fact of the matter, in my family’s case, is that I could very easily recount the treatment of my Irish ancestors but to what end? Will other cultures pay reparation for that treatment? I hope to heck not. We as conservatives have to get a backbone and fight for progress, not to regress to the 50’s and 40’s . When this racist garbage is spouted we need to vocally refute it. I’m tired of being “afraid”.
For a second there, I thought you were going to announce she was going to work on the Obama campaign.
Of course it does. . .Welfare, Food Stamps, SSI, housing allowances etc. . .your tax dollars at work.
I’m impressed. They want corruption investigated? I guess just not their own fraud, waste, and abuse. Entitlements are not corruption.
Most of the commenters are on to her, though…
It’s her warped way of trying to feel important. She lives off of the working class’s money, and, in her fantasy, thinks that’s acceptable. So with nothing to do, and no money for beer, she’s out joining whatever cause happens to be around that is PC. A truly sick person, who needs help.
Lucky she was able to take off from work for this protest.
Haha – yt1300inHtown – protesting is the only “work” this “woman” has ever done.
Michelle’s link doesnt work, probably too much traffic. #2 Mookie’s link works fine.
So now we have the federal government substadizing the protesting on the governments property?
That makes perfect sense if you are an idiot!
Thanks Mookie..I was getting daatabase error.
Those women have entirely too much time on their hands! They need jobs!
Oops! data not daata.
I can no more disown her than I can disown the black community.
Sad, sad, sad. It can’t be fixed, its too entrenched.
Lady Jasper is both audacious and bold. I give her two Obamas, way up!
Michelle Obama has Princeton and Harvard educations, a $300,000.00+ per year salary, a $1,000,000.00 home, and a US senator for a spouse.
Lady Jasper has a 60″ plasma and all of her expenses covered by the US taxpayer.
Pastor Wright has an 8,000+ following throwing untold funds and snappy frocks his way.
They are all miseable, and I’m happy as a clam.
…What the hell am I doing wrong!!
I’ve heard too many people that are on welfare say that they are owed by the government. Most of these
are black. They say that if they had never been brought here as slaves, they would be happy in Africa.
I have tried to tell “them” that, in the 1st place, “they”
were not slaves and in the 2nd place, “they” would not
be happy in Africa because, if they managed to be born, considering all of the circumstances that had to
be, for them to be born in the 1st place, would not have happened had their ancestors never left Africa,
and that if “they” lived in Africa, they would probably be the victims of genocide, the U.N., Aids,
or famine. So count your blessings and get a job!
The reverends and others, such as Obama’s preacher have convinced these people(& others who
think we are all saps for working and supporting
them{nonblacks}), that they do not have to work
because “us middle class people that are too stupid
to elect politicians that would do something about
all of the welfare fraud”, will support them with our
tax money.
Multi-Generational Welfare and Free/lowrent housing isn’t a Safety net. It’s an inherited right in many apathetic, parasite mindsets. Like the majority of what came out of the 9th ward in New Orleans.
Is she protesting because her 60″ TV isn’t High Def? Does she need me, a tax payer, to pay for her a new, larger place for her new, 100″ High Def TV, for which my tax dollars are also paying?
And that she’s only driving a Buick, not a Cadillac?
I would like to remind those who are interested, white people did not sell black people into slavery, black people did. I would gladly endorce reparations to former slaves, unfortunately the last one died years ago. Others who claim being owed reparation? OK but it goes with restoration. You must use the funds to return to the African nation of your choice. My ancestors were not slave holders they were Eurpean peasants, which ment they were little more than slaves themselves. I am purely tired of this victim mentality. If you were born in this country and you cannot make it here, you can’t make it anywhere. This is the land of opportunity, not entitlement.
#6 procopy
“The audacity of…entitlement.”
I am so stealing that.
“Happy in Africa?”
I guess they haven’t noticed Bono and Bob Geldof and George Clooney et al yapping about how terrible life is in Africa because we aren’t giving enough tax dollars to their klepotocracies.
Yes. It’s called SSI and Medicaid, respectively.
I would love to hear The “Reverend” Wright’s views on the matter….. HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA!
There, fixed it for you. The government does not own a damn thing. It holds all properties in trust for us citizens.
Sorry about that… I actually had an Instalanche last month that generated less traffic than this Malkalanche has. It’s going to a cached page right now which means that any comments you leave won’t be displayed for a day or so until I take the page back to the live version.
But do feel free to drop by now that the problem is resolved – beyond the news article there are photos of the new housing that Jasper objects to and links to other pertinent details, like the fact that project dwellers were actually suing the federal government before Katrina because living conditions were so bad! Simply unbelievable….
Gimme, gimme, gimme, gimme, gimme . . .
I wonder why she named her daughter, Kawana? I think “I-wanna” would have been much better for this hate-mongering, public assistance trollop!
Kawana: Swahili for societal leech?
If I were sponging off the government like that, I’d be ashamed to show my face in public. My parents raised me better than that. Looks like the next generation of the Jenkins dynasty is just as ungrateful and unmotivated as the last.
new law…
when you go on public assistance you have to temporarily give up your right to vote.
if you live on it for more than 2 years you give it up…
FOREVER.
this should solve this problem pretty quickly. we need to disallow these people 1) a candidate that will pander to them and 2) the ability to have any power to sway candidates.
Actually, the more i think about it, the more I like it.
What goes around comes around. Sounds cliche, but you don’t have to be rich to be selfish.
bironetworks – not a bad idea. Of course, the Congressman who writes that law will be immediately branded a racist hatemongering [expletive of your choice], probably hauled out of the chamber and tarred and feathered.
My mistake – “Kawana” must mean “charming young lady”…
Update
There is a group of “gonna be” new citizens right now
that want to sue Pres Bush because they want to be
sworn in in time to register to vote. Since the Clintons
pulled a number similar to this when he ran for
reelection, I wonder who put this idea into these peoples heads and how did they get (all) together to do this as a group?
We know the dimms seem to have a lock on the poor
black vote ( especially the welfare black vote) but do
they now get All of the new citizens?
Another thing that gets me about reparations, entitlements and African-American anger is the fact that MY ancestors fought in a civil war to grant YOUR ancestors their freedom. If not for MY white ancestors whom, you claim, were bigots and slave-owners, your ancestors’ decendants (i.e., YOU) might still be slaves. Now, to what reparations do you suppose I am entitled?
This woman is absolutely disgusting. I wonder how many illegitimate children and grandchildren she has.
I work my tail off and can’t afford a 60″ TV. Nice to see my tax dollars are well spent giving people who won’t work the nice things I can’t afford to save up for.
I will be surprised if I can afford to retire when I turn 70, this POS will be sitting fat dumb and happy with my taxpayer funded checks coming in.
She has three grandchildren (courtesy of Kawana) that I’m aware of… no idea if Kawana married, but she does use the last name “Jasper” which is her maiden name.
Kawana is on the dole at least to the extent of housing – I’ve read that in other articles.
(FYI, it’s not my intent to stalk the Jaspers – as a former welfare recipient I’m interested in the public housing controversy and they’re the ones who put themselves front and center on CNN and other media outlets.)
If I were a betting man, I’d wager a steak dinner that we see the Jasper girls as guest speakers at the Democrapic National Convention…
I’ll take that bet – even leftie locals who want the projects to stay open complain about them, how they’re making the “cause” look bad, and when Kawana was on CNN, it went very poorly.
The DNC likes photogenic, appealing shills like that Graham kid. Plus, they’re probably catching on that they need to vet their poster children a little better.
“Sharon Jasper lived in the St. Bernard project for nearly 60 years…..”
THAT pretty much says it all for me. 60 years on someone else’s dime.

That’s our Original Sin the Obamessiah described with his usual monumental genius.
The first thing we do;
Set up orphangages for any child born by a welfare momma. If she’s on welfare, she can’t afford to raise the child. No more pregnanceies, I bet.
Second, (after DNA testing) the father of said child (ID’ed through the criminal justice system) pays the state for the child’s upkeep, or starts digging ditches for the state.
I should quit my job as an engineer, and go on the dole. Maybe then I could afford a 60″ tv too.
Nice work, LauraC.
I frankly find the whole thing simply tragic as yet another generation in that household will fall into the pit that is government assistance. Rugged individualism simply doesn’t exist in some quarters.
I have no problem with helping people when they are down, but I’d rather see the Feds outsource that kind of thing to local communities without the taxpayers’ dime getting in the mix. Here is an idea – more money in people’s pockets would probably result in more people being capable of giving to the charities of their choice.
I’ll be here all week. Don’t forget the tip jar.
I have a solution:
We can lower our national debt by doing away with most of the welfare the govt. dishes out.
Then taxes don’t have to go up to pay for someone like this to have her fancy TV. Keep the taxes low for the middle class please and get these people off their tush and out working.
Really….does she have a job? If not…why not? Oh, that’s right. She don’t need no job, she’s got us to work for her.
I used to get mad at jerks like this woman than I started thinking about every day she wakes up and decides to be angry and miserable. What a pathetic life. Think about it. When she is in the hospital getting her last bit of free governmental health care, she will have to look back at her life and realize all she did was take up space and air. No contributions to the world, nothing to remember her by, nothing. She was dust before she was dust, so I don’t waste any more time than it took to write this to even think about her. That’s it, I’m done.
