It’s time for us to just stand tall and tell “certain” people that we are not at fault, never were and never will be at fault. The fact of the matter, in my family’s case, is that I could very easily recount the treatment of my Irish ancestors but to what end? Will other cultures pay reparation for that treatment? I hope to heck not. We as conservatives have to get a backbone and fight for progress, not to regress to the 50’s and 40’s . When this racist garbage is spouted we need to vocally refute it. I’m tired of being “afraid”.

I’ve heard too many people that are on welfare say that they are owed by the government. Most of these

I have tried to tell “them” that, in the 1st place, “they”
were not slaves and in the 2nd place, “they” would not
be happy in Africa because, if they managed to be born, considering all of the circumstances that had to
be, for them to be born in the 1st place, would not have happened had their ancestors never left Africa,
and that if “they” lived in Africa, they would probably be the victims of genocide, the U.N., Aids,
or famine. So count your blessings and get a job!
The reverends and others, such as Obama’s preacher have convinced these people(& others who
think we are all saps for working and supporting
them{nonblacks}), that they do not have to work
because “us middle class people that are too stupid
to elect politicians that would do something about
all of the welfare fraud”, will support them with our
    tax money.

You must use the funds to return to the African nation of your choice. My ancestors were not slave holders they were Eurpean peasants, which ment they were little more than slaves themselves. I am purely tired of this victim mentality. If you were born in this country and you cannot make it here, you can’t make it anywhere. This is the land of opportunity, not entitlement.

But do feel free to drop by now that the problem is resolved - beyond the news article there are photos of the new housing that Jasper objects to and links to other pertinent details, like the fact that project dwellers were actually suing the federal government before Katrina because living conditions were so bad! Simply unbelievable….

Kawana Jasper was arrested, along with her mother, Sharon Jasper, and longtime protester Jay Arena. Arena and the elder Jasper were charged with crossing a police cordon. Kawana Jasper spat on a construction worker, an action that qualifies as battery, according to NOPD spokesman Sgt. Joe Narcisse, who said officers had no problem with protest as long as it remained peaceful.

I frankly find the whole thing simply tragic as yet another generation in that household will fall into the pit that is government assistance. Rugged individualism simply doesn’t exist in some quarters.

I have no problem with helping people when they are down, but I’d rather see the Feds outsource that kind of thing to local communities without the taxpayers’ dime getting in the mix. Here is an idea - more money in people’s pockets would probably result in more people being capable of giving to the charities of their choice.

No contributions to the world, nothing to remember her by, nothing. She was dust before she was dust, so I don’t waste any more time than it took to write this to even think about her.
