Reader ptgustan has redesigned Barack Obama’s campaign poster with an animated GIF that more accurately reflects the Agent of Left-Wing Same Old Same Old’s ideological allegiances.

“Change” and “Hope” for America. His idea of “change” is like me going to work, screwing up big time in everything, and maybe, even, hurting a patient. That certainly would be a change after 20+ years. The “hope” would be my butt not being dragged down to Richmond to have my license to practice revoked. That’s Obama’s idea of “change” and “hope”. It could take years to recover.

Guy from the new black panther party was just on Fox News. His reasoning goes like this: How could Rev. Wright be a bad man when his teachings produced such a good man as Barack Obama? Can’t disagree with that kind of stunning logic.

    Regarding franksalterego post at #54

The “Founding Principle” cited is a quote from James Cone, a “black liberation theology” proponent used by Wright (see http://www.liberallyconservative.com/?p=2331 ).

Here is the comment from TUCC’s site: http://www.tucc.org/talking_points.htm

    • One of the biggest gaps in knowledge that causes the kind of ignorance that you hear spouted by this man [Erik Rush] and those like him, has to do with the fact that these persons are completely ignorant when it comes to the Black religious tradition. The vision statement of Trinity United Church of Christ is based upon the systematized liberation theology that started in 1969 with the publication of Dr. James Cone’s book, Black Power and Black Theology.

I’m no fan of Sen. Obama’s policies and have been a McCain backer for quite some time now, but this thread is obnoxious. I’m a big fan of your writing Michelle, but this is a glaring example of your shrill side and tendency toward demagoguery at times. Let’s talk about the issues.

How about this issue: Barack Obama is endorsed by the Black Panthers, a militant group known for carrying out violent actions that do absolutely nothing to improve race-relations.

    Ya Know,

I went to a mostly black middle school in a poor neighborhood. (I rode a school bus for an hour and a half to get there. There was another middle school 15 minutes from my house. Yep, it was forced bussing.)

This school had school shootings before they were chic , and gang wars in the front field after school.

Anyway, this is where I learned a lot about how to end racism. I learned that I could not only have black classmates, but also black friends. When you start to understand you all have a lot in common, that builds the bridge to understanding.

Obama and the Diversity Mafia have wiped that tactic away. Nowadays I’d be called a racist for not recognizing and celebrating the majesty of black culture.

What are Hillarys and Obamas plan against terrorism? Most of us Yanks don’t want to convert to Islam.

Maybe if you did a little research instead of just follow the talking points of the fear-mongering right, you would already know the answer to that question. Here’s a little help:

    Homeland Security
    Foreign Policy

Were you even aware that Obama wants to increase the size of our military?

I bet you are an open border person who would permit perhaps billions into this nation.

I’m not sure how you arrive at that conlusion unless you assume narrow-mindedly that all people on the left are alike. I believe we need to strengthen our borders and I was for the amnesty/border security bill that Bush was willing to sign. However, I think the best solution to the immigration problem in the long term is to help strengthen Mexico’s economy, thus removing some of the impetus of illegal immigration.

Maybe if the Mexican government wasn’t so corrupt, so many illegals wouldn’t be coming over the border.

How is the right wing scaring the folks? Have you ever heard of the numerous Muslim threats? Have you heard that they carry them out? Yes, if you do a little research you will find out they are not at peace with the west and won’t rest until they control the world. What is Hillary and and Obama going to do about that? Kerry, Obama and Hillary still have not been specific only to say that George Bush is a failure. Thats not much hope.

To the Other Side MaCain is not considered right wing. He is about as moderate as you can get. By the way Bush’s plan last year did not include enforcing the border. Do a little research pal.

To begin with I never supported Bush’s plan because it was way too weak on security. I was never for it. It was your incompetence that you were not aware that I was against Bush’s plan.

All I hear is how Obama, McCain, and Hillary want open borders

My point exactly! All you hear? From where? None of the candidates are FOR open borders. Please check their platforms for specific security plans. You might not thing that their plans are tough enough o border security, but to say that are for open borders and against border security is just plan wrong.

To the Other Side ,, When Hillary says “There is no such thing as an illegal woman”, that comes across as absorbing the whole Mexican population. The population of the USA is crowded enough without adding millions. Adding millions will not help the middleclass but only add to the power classes. The USA can’t absorb that many people. More people also requires more highways filling up empty lands for more towns and cities. Our resources are limited.
