While I am glad to see this happening and wish them a safe, successful, protest-free journey, I think there's something amiss with a society that must be reminded by those who fought for it, what it was they fought for and why we should remember. “At this critical juncture in our country, we need Americans, lawmakers and the media, to fully recognize—and appreciate—the sacrifice of our brave military and the dramatic success they have achieved, especially in Iraq with the new counterinsurgency strategy.”
