Mukasey: “Fatwas do not have an expiration date”

By Michelle Malkin  •  March 21, 2008 07:12 PM

It dawns on Attorney General Michael Mukasey: Jihad has no boundaries, no time limits, no end. Welcome to post-9/11 America:

Attorney General Michael Mukasey has been taken aback by the scope and variety of potential terrorism threats facing the United States, he told reporters Friday at an informal meeting in his office.

“I’m surprised by how surprised I am,” said Mukasey, who as a federal judge presided over terrorism-related trials in New York.

“It’s surprising how varied [the threat] is, how many directions it comes from, how geographically spread out it is,” he said…

…he attorney general said that after meeting with his European law enforcement counterparts last week in Slovenia, he understands their degree of anxiety as well.

“They’re all concerned, and they’re all looking for ways to cooperate with the United States and with one another,” he said.

The attorney general used the occasion to once again urge congressional passage of a measure to update the Foreign Intelligence Surveillance Act. An initial update, termed the Protect America Act, expired last month.

“I never thought I’d see that [expiration] happen,” Mukasey said. “The danger doesn’t fade.”

He also referred to the terrorism updates he receives in early morning national security briefings.

“The people I hear about every morning, their fatwas do not have an expiration date,” Mukasey said.

Put it on a bumper sticker. Or a tattoo.

Pair it with this:

What we learned from the first attack? NOTHING! So NOW an attorney general gets it… oh swell.

If a candidate promises to nuke the enemy out of existence if we are attacked again, I might just vote for them.

    Simple.

Political contributions from trial lawyers are more important to House Democrats than the safety and security of the United States of America.

Yeah it must be disconcerting to be in charge of security of a country that has absolutely no control over who enters it.

Here’s a suggestion. Secure the borders and boot illegals out of this country. I know it is hard to believe, but that will help with the security.

Typical Bush Administration, looking left when then should be looking right. Incase Mukasey does not know, our laws have no expiration date as well, and being a nation that believes in the rule of law, those elected official that aid and abet illegals should be so prosecuted (Section 274 felonies under the federal Immigration and Nationality Act, INA 274A(a)(1)(A)). But then fatwas are much the better bait for fear mongering. The main dish Bush servers up to the American public.

Isn’t it interesting, that a trained professional (Mukasey) sees terrorism as the threat it is, but untrained personnel, our Demoknots in Congress, sees only “potential abuses” of (American) rights of privacy? What’s wrong with this picture? Don’t the various Intelligence Committees share the same information that Mukasey gets?

Being a major target of the terrorists, we’ve done quite well since ‘01, in not having a major terror attack. We’ve had some close calls, but they never came off due to our intelligence gathering. The sad product of this is the fact that this country has become too complacent about it. 9/11 is a distant memory to many. If I ran a terrorist cell, I would certainly want to hit the U.S. this year, being an election year. Sit back, let the country blame Bush, and help the democrats win. Democrats are much more pacifist than republicans. They would beg to talk, and “make amends” to us terrorists.

And Condi shells more money (the fool doesn’t know she, as an Abidi, is paying jizya) for the ‘poor and oppressed’ Palestinians, while dubya dances to Riyadh’s tunes (he doesn’t know he is wahhabbi’s favourite slave), again to shell more money and arms (again as jizya, which he doesn’t know about) while helping Jihad (he doesn’t know that either) against Kaffurs (which he himself is, except another thig he doesn’t know). But why should Bush family care? All they care about is American votes and wahhabbi wealth. Foolish American voters “support” the sitting president, who is selling them out to anyone with a peso / petro dollar. Then again, in a democracy people get the government they deserve.

Juan McCain was the co-author of the Amnesty with Teddy K, knowing his daughter’s won’t be raped or his family won’t be murdered or he won’t loose his job to an illegal alien. This is how much he cares if Americans live or die. Oh.. my bad. He will make sure you live until you vote for him. THEN, Americans can go to hell. And you want him as president/commander-in-chief of USofA?No thank you.

Like smoking cigars with a wahhabbi, right after Americans were slaughtered on 9/11. But then, no surprise, coming from the son of a rich, sell-out politisian, and whose businesses were funded by wahhabbi, adopted as a “Bandar-Bush” family member. Bush has a record of being most terror-friendly. Heck, he hired Karen Hughes to appease CAIR and provides ’sensitivity-training’ to FBI. Ask yourself, which side of the ‘war-on-terror’ is Bush on?

Without the immunity, it is toothless; The comm companies would go bankrupt fending off lawsuits for cooperating with the investigators. You can’t ask them to help and then leave them spinning in the breeze. If you truly want safety you have to back those who help make it possible.

Neither JoAnn. He was just a terrific young man that gave up his life in the line of duty. His Mother didn’t pull a Cindy Sheehan. Instead she and the rest of the
family told wonderful stories about him as he grew up. These are stories that are
generally known by no one outside of the family or close friends and are so very
important to the family. This is something that our family knows of first hand
and I do appreciate the warmth and love this family is sharing as they move
toward burying their son. He was always doing for someone else, even an
homeless woman he saw behind a store when he was a youngster. He came
running into the house saying he was going to make her a sack lunch because
she was hungry. Among other things in his sack was a grilled cheese sandwich
made by him for the woman.
This is the difference between true American heroes and the people that despise them for their patriotism.

TxRose: Many thoughts and prayers for that brave young man and his family…a family that understands the true meaning of “Moral Authority”

One needs to ask oneself if this guy was being ironic…facitious. I think he was actually making a statement to the fools known as Liberals who feel that all we need to do is pack up our toys and go home and suddenly these worshippers of the false moon god will be our bosom buddies. All we have to do is make nice…to ignore this problem long enough and the bad men with the turbans who don’t bathe and wipe themselves with their bare hand and live like animals will just go away.

In less than 6.5 years, a huge percentage of this country has just plain forgotten what has happened. They have forgotten what we all saw with our own eyes played out live on every television station in this country. A select few have told a lie over and over and over and over again until the vast number of people…even some of the most rational people…have come to believe the lie rather than the truth that they saw with their own eyes and heard with their own ears.

A small minority of spoiled Baby-Boomer throw-backs to another terrible age of American history has hijacked current events with their hatred, their violence, their treason, their sedition, their racism and their lies. They learned what worked and what failed them from the last time they attempted to hijack this country and have put their knowledge to use. They deal only in circular reasoning, bumpersticker slogans and violent threats. When challenged they end dissent towards their treason by calling their foes “Islamophobic” or some other made-up word meant to intimidate the opposition into thinking that they could lose their job or standing in society.

The only thing lacking this time is the answer to one question: WHY? Why are the Liberals so interested in, so intent on allowing, so hell bent on having Islam win this war? What do Liberals have to gain by allowing…nay assisting Islam in defeating the American military and Government when a victory for Islam means certain death…and that is death literally, not figurativelly…for every single Liberal in this country based on everything they are, stand for and believe. If Liberals know Islam as they claim they do, then they know that their lack of religious faith, their support of homosexuality, of women’s rights, of sexual promescuity, of pornography, of N.A.M.B.L.A., of keeping prayer out of schools, work, public etc., will guarantee that they all meet the business end of a dull, rusty knife or a rope strung from a crane.

This is the big question. I think he was reminding these fools that these things don’t just go away…not making the statement to himself.
