I can see that I am engaged in a battle of wits with an unarmed opponent.

You hit the nail on the head.

And to think, this man deigns to educate others.

Any position withing the military or federal government requiring a security clearance requires extremely detailed information on every placed you have ever lived, every church, club or organization to which you belonged, and every activity in which you have engaged. All of that information is checked and screened, your former neighbors, roommates and club members questioned, and the organizations to which you belonged are investigated for any anti-American bias.

The reason this is done is that your associations reveal a great deal about your biases and beliefs.

Now Obama is trying to convince us that he should not be held to the same standard as those he will hopefully command or manage. He has cast his own grandmother in such a manner that to accuse Wright of racism, his grandmother must also be a racist in his carefully crafted house of cards.

Obama has denounced the words of the man, but not the man himself. In doing so, it gives his supporters a life preserver to claim Obama has stated he does not believe the things Wright has said. However, the fact that he continued to hand with the guy form 20 years and never said a word until now makes his denials lack any measure of credibility.

Obama is a slick hypocrite, whose words mean absolutely nothing. Look at the statements of Samantha Powers regarding his intentions on Iraq. Look at the backdoor assurances made to the Canadian government that he really was not serious about what he was saying on the campaign trail about NAFTA. His denouncement of Wright is nothing more than “campaign rhetoric”, just like his statements regarding Iraq and NAFTA.

Mark my words. In the coming weeks there will be more outrageous comments surfacing made by Wright. And those statements will raise more questions about Obama’s character, judgment and credibility.
