Typical San Francisco People

Well, at least they spell better than some of their colleagues. Zombie e-mails two lovely Jeremiah Wright fan photos from the anti-war protests held in the Bay Area this week. One taken by Protest Shooter:

Asked in Moline about a controversial demand by some blacks for reparations for slavery, Obama spoke about how slavery had left a stain on the country that has yet to be eradicated. Still, he said, he opposes “just signing checks over to African-Americans.”

In other words, it sounds like he’s all for reperations… he just can’t publicly admit it. As far as these protesters… I wonder if they know that the planes and boats run both ways now. I mean, if America is so bad then why not leave? Go to Iran, Syria, France, Pakistan… Go where ever you want. The problem is that they won’t leave. As much as they scream and cry and complain about this country, they know that there is no better country out there. It’s like the hollywood socialists and Marxists that complain about the evils of capitalism without bothering to acknowledge that it’s capitalism that allows them to make the assinine amounts of money that they make.

LOL. Maybe we could send Bin-Donkey a postage-paid basket of goodies to ease his discomfort. You know, plush-stuffed donkeys resting on kafiyahs for those cold nights alone and stuffed with c4 wrapped in det-cord and keyed to go boom when his tape recorder begins to play any of his ode to mulehammad favorite jihadi songs.

Our troops fight for our nation, and our lives and our American way of life, and our Civil Rights – but they are NOT fighting for any right to anarchy, sedition, insurgency, insurrection, treason, slander, dangerous behavior or incitement to unlawful behavior (Al Sharpton), calumniating insinuations, or in any way for any minority group to overthrow the known will of the MAJORITY in America.
One thing they are fighting for is a democratic republic govt with RULE OF LAW.

These ladies have the CIVIL RIGHTS of PROTESTING anything their govt is doing they do not like, as long as they are NON-violent and are courteous to the police officers trying to maintain order and peace – AS LONG AS THEY ARE WILLING TO ACCEPT THE ACCOUNTABILITY OF RECEIVING THE COUNTER-PROTEST against their own ideas and activities with EQUAL FERVOR and peaceableness.

As long as they remember where the lines are – how to behave well in public, and to behave nicely when they see signs counter-protesting THEM…

    Cool.

It appears to me that Obama’s campaign, associations, declarations, and followups have set race racial relations back a couple of decades. The MSM, NEA and other liberal intrenched infrastructures have a lot to do with it as well. God Help America!

I agree. If you are going to be hated just for being white, it doesn’t make a whole lot of difference what you say or do about race relations. You’re done before you begin.

There are people like that, but most are not. Obama is not like that. He never called for reparations.

Most MM threads are people in the echo chamber fantasizing more and more ways the people they hate are evil. You’re probably scared of Obama because he’s trying to take away the fear.

This is just too choice to pass up…lgm is afraid to say “black people.” Ah. Political correctness; don’t dare offend trying to make a political point!

I don’t think you personally know “most ______ people” to be able to speak for them…or do you?

Obama isn’t like that? Step on your own d**k with that remark, didn’t you? There are alot of things about Obama, that few of us know, and a small percentage of things we are now just finding out about. Just how do you know with such certainty what he is or isn’t?

People on this thread hate? This is a typical liberalesque dialogue, reminiscent of the gay marriage, illegal immigration, or anything else that is in opposition with the liberal position. Not for gay marriage, or extra-legal rights for gays…why you’re a “homophobe!” (You’re a hater.) Think people should migrate to the U.S. via legal means?…you’re a “zenophobe!” (Hater.)

You don’t like seeing those benefitting most (more than likely) from the public troughs, then trashing America, well, then, you guessed it…you’re a hater!

In my mind, the only haters that spin their nonsense on these threads are the ones we knowingly call “trolls.” Just because I disagree, vehemetly at times, with things these people say, doesn’t mean I hate them. I don’t understand how they can logically believe the positions they take, but that doesn’t mean I hate them.

Just keep in mind how often we are held up as hypocrites, when some of our leadership has moral failings. At least our leadership has stood for morality, something for which liberals will never be accused!

Fear? Speaking for myself, I do not fear cowards! Neither do I fear the future. I look forward to challenges. Not a very brilliant argument/position/assumption, lgm.

As far as fantisizing goes, I admit I have been wondering about your moniker…is it your initials, or an abbreviation for something you espouse? Just curious.

LGM,,, you were questioning Pat Robertson and his issue with gays. I imagine Robertson was thinking of Sodom and Gomorrah when he made his claim. God hates all sin but loves the sinner. There is a young Army Specialist named Dustin Chapman that is about to be buried in Arlington, TX. Dustin, from what I have heard of him was a

with her right to do so, though I do believe her sentiment would have made him so terribly sad.

I think that Europe will have the same fate as ancient Israel. As for a here, well, things seem to be declining more steadily.

If we were wrong about them, they would have a different voting record.

If we are still wrong about them, they need to do something fast – maybe some impeachments of local officials.

I’ve very very recently heard yet another couple of a fairly strong variety of prophets mention something about San Fransisco, and it ain’t good. I hope you live on high, solid ground – or have a vacation home elsewhere, and an good ear – and will listen to a still small voice that tells you when it is “time to vacation”.

Please don’t try to tell me how ugly you think I am for saying this – I heard several such reports about that when Katrina was about 2 weeks away – who could have known? It is fine to say they were ugly for what they said, but New Orleans is still basically gone!

Who says that smoke alarms are UGLY when there is a fire, and the family is sleeping?

BTW, I should tell you how they say it – they do NOT say God is going to VENT HIS WRATH. NO THEY DO NOT! And that is NOT what they said about N.O.

They say He has worked and worked and worked and they do not listen - so He will lift His hand, just a tiny bit, not even half an inch, just a bare move, a whisper, really – lifting His Protection – in hopes they will come to LISTEN.

I am getting tired of the “typical San Franciscan” comments. The people who carry around the signs and get the soundbites are the minority. Most of the people living in the San Francisco Bay Area, work at our jobs, worry about getting our kids into decent schools, pay our bills and whether our kids will come home alive from Iraq. In my high school, during the height of the Vietnam War, we had many graduates enlist, myself included. So please, if you want to make fun of the loons with the signs, feel free, but don’t lump the rest of them with decent people. We’ve earned that respect.

lgm, you really are a dim bulb.

I’m glad, but MM did not call him a typical Kansan.

You’re implying that you’re upset that MM characterized these photos as typical San Francisco. Think about it. Is that what is really concerning you? I’m sure MM has rationale for considering it typical San Francisco. Even if she did have a reason to call Phelps a typical Kansan, would you really gripe about her NOT including that fact in her critical piece of him?

Also, she wasn’t reacting to his hating fags but to his anti-American statements.

And that’s exactly what she is reacting to in this situation. I fail to see ANY hypocrisy here. Maybe it would be more credible for you to bring this up in an open thread.

If he had said what Pat Robertson said (God hates fags and loves America), how would MM have reacted?

First you criticize MM for not writing about Phelps, then, when I link to one of her many blog pieces about him, you criticize her for a comment that she WOULDN’T have made IF Phelps had said something different???????

Weak. How are you not embarrassed by this?

P.S. Please provide the Pat Robertson quote that you are referring to. I’m not implying that I don’t believe he may have said something close to your paraphrase, but I thought he usually stated that ‘God hates sin, but still loves the sinners.’
