Where will Obama be for Easter?
Looks like Barack Obama won’t be in the pews at Trinity Church of Christ this Easter. He’s headed for some fun in the sun. Via ABC News:
Obama’s allies are hoping the focus will stay off of Wright this Easter Sunday when the Democratic frontrunner skips services at Trinity United Church of Christ in Chicago and heads on vacation. Per ABC News’ Sunlen Miller, sources familiar with Obama’s plans say the Illinois Democrat is expected to go on a tropical vacation with the most likely bet appearing to be St. Thomas in the U.S. Virgin Islands. Obama, whose campaign will not confirm his plans, is expected to leave Chicago on Sunday morning and will return either on Tuesday night or Wednesday morning.
Wonder if there are any black liberation theologians holding services on the islands this weekend?
Maybe he can make a little room on his plane for those San Francisco America-haters. They need one-way tickets.

Glad you’re staying on this story, Michelle. Having a hard time with his claim that he knew nothing about some of Wright’s more extreme and racist positions, and even more with his having that man in his children’s life.

This blog post about where Barack Obama is going to spend Easter reminds me of the local media here in Denver trying to find out what kind of Halloween candy that John Elway was giving out at his home back in his early years as a member of the Broncos. LOL!

Also, I hope you saw Chris Wallace and Brian Kilmeade on Fox & Friends yesterday morning. Finally some of the right leaning folks in the media have realized that the unhinged hysterical Obama bashfest has crossed a line. It was a surprise to see both Chris and Brian stand up for Obama. Gretchen Carlson and Steve Doocy made total fools of themselves with their unhinged hatred during Chris Wallace’s appearance on their show.

With a socialist Congress, having Obama, a socialist candidate, as President would change our country around. With no one to stop them, they will enact a socialist form of government and stifle any attempts to keep a “free enterprise” system. With more regulations and controls on businesses, prices will soar. Then to placate the people, price controls will be enacted. Of course, taxes will go up and we all know who the “rich” are. They are you and me who pay the taxes. So more money will be taken out of our paychecks and given to those who support them, in the form of “fairness”. Plus, healthcare will surely be nationalized and that will spell doom to many sick, and soon to be sick people. I’ve looked at national healthcare in other countries; it’s a disaster. I have patients who would be dead now, if they were under such systems. I don’t want the Pelosis, Kennedys and Obamas to run my life. I can do that very well without their “help”. You think the economy is bad, wait until the left wing has total control. Our military will be weakened, as always happens under their control. And I see this Obama as a rookie with no experience in foreign affairs and no real ideas on economics, other than what will gather votes for him to win, and keep him (and the other socialists) in power. He runs on “hope and change” which means nothing to me. All his platform is about is “vote for me, I’m black”. To run on the ideas that this country needs to take several steps away from what made this country great, and to finally ditch the Constitution…yes, sir…that’s evil.

The column spouts the usual Hamas propaganda defending terrorism as legitimate resistance. Ever notice how often Obama does a hip-hoppity swagger bounce when he steps up to a podium? Ever notice how often he begins a serious answer with a stern facial expression that slowly morphs into an all-knowing smirk? Even a top political writer for the AP is seeing nothing but his arrogance.
One can only imagine the hate filled diatribes given by Pastor Wright on Easter Day that the Obamination has listened to in the past 20 years. I am sure tomorrow’s service will be very subdued with all eyes on this typical black church (the Obaminations remarks not mine). Now he bravely slinks into hiding playing hooky on the most holy of Christian holidays while hoping his allies in the MSM can make the exposure of his racism disappear. I am sure the MSM will continue their yeoman’s work in propping up this empty suit to his adoring mindless masses.
Half the problem with Obama is the people who really, really believe in him. Are they ever setting themselves up for a fall.
But the other problem, and I think the larger one by far, is what does he believe in? A few weeks back David Horowitz made a big deal about Obama’s letter to the Secretary General of the U.N. in which he defended Israel. Fine. Much appreciated. Now in addition to his pastor’s comments about Jews, we find out as several have noted, that his church has no problem with HAMAS. So where is Mr. Obama in all this? If this is something once again that white people don’t understand, what about Jewish people?
This is not a trivial question. It strikes right to the root of America’s dealings with the mid-East. Yet with Obama you can only make guesses based on the evidence. The man never comes out and says what he means. He never integrates it with any aspect of his other beliefs and positions, whatever they may be. His defenders reply: show me a politician does? Even if we grant that, Obama and his followers have set themselves on a very high moral perch. We mortals on the lower levels need to know.
Again, these are extremely serious concerns. It’s not a quibble about which version of socialized medicine the candidate is going to push. As president, Obama would be in talks with, for example, Mad Dr. A of Iran, whose opinions on Jews and America are fairly close to those of Rev. Wright. Where will Mr. Obama stand in all this? Will he flip a coin? Given his record to date, it would be an improvement.
Part of me wonders if the man is a void. Perhaps he doesn’t really believe what Rev. Wright says about America or white people or Jews, but we know now he can’t quite bring himself to fully repudicate it either. Probably he doesn’t believe his grandmother (one of the many, many whites who helped him over the years) is a bad person, but he can’t bring himself to think of her as a good person or that her personal context is far more humane than that of Rev. Wright’s. He just kind of drifts along, a transcendent Mr. Smooth, who lets his followers do the nasty business of denouncing as racist anyone who dares question him.
It’s all quite creepy.
Obama out of the country=good. Wright out of the country=good.

It would seem that if ANYONE (like Obama) thinks of THEMSELVES (himself) as the “new messiah,” then there is obviously no good reason for THEM (him) to go to church on one of the most holiest days of the year on the Christian calendar – Easter Sunday – to worship the True, One and Only Messiah who died for the sins of mankind and rose from the grave three days later.

I really can NOT imagine a Christian avoiding church on EASTER, especially his church of nearly 20 years. A church he defended moments ago. Why is B. Hussein hiding now? Is he not willing to sacrifice anything for the Lord? Someone above said noglobama is a Christian, and that is his (obama’s) to claim, but I have seen nothing at all to make me think he is in fact a Christian. His actions do not suggest he is anything Christ asked us to be. Now after his actions have put much in question about his judgment, he runs away….very telling, again. Obama is a disgrace.
Put your faith in Christ. HE IS RISEN!

I was reading this morning from the magazine First Things an article by Walter A. McDougall entitled “Our Stillborn Renaissance” which contains, among other interesting things, some observations about Ralph Waldo Emerson which so eerily describe the Obamamessiah that it literally made my hairs stand on end. The emptiness of Obama’s speeches have been so often commented upon together with the cultic adoration of his believers/followers, but no comments I have read have described so thoroughly the roots of his emptiness as I found in this article.

When Obama didn’t put his hand to his heart during the Anthem, it showed that he had no idea how to be an American.
Now, he has no idea how to be a Christian. Most Christians go to Easter services at their church or they return home and go to their parent’s church for the day.
