Undoubtedly Kilpatrick is a registered Democrat, however, his is a nonpartisan office as are many local offices in SE Michigan.

The signs of Kilpatrick’s comeuppance were plain as day in 2001. He’s wanted to be mayor since the age of 9 (I wonder if he's related to Obama). He saw himself as a modern-day King David and ran for mayor because he "decided to do what God wants…." His favorite movie in 2001 was The Godfather because he connected with the struggles of the mob families in their "intense planning and strategy" to keep their power. Finally, the Kilpatrick Family vanity license plate clearly had set the goal: "2 DA TOP."

The problem is that in mediaspeek the word “Rebpublican” = “bad” and “Democrat” = “good.” Therefore, ergo, ipso facto, the word “Democrat” cannot appear next to the name of someone doing something bad.

Why…if they began using the word “Democrat” to label people who had done things that society considers “bad,” readers might get confused about the meaning of the word. And we can’t have that.

Rush has figured it out. Liberals have no set of standards, no morals, no code of conduct that they hold themselves to or anyone else to (unless of course it’s someone on the right). Therefore, they don’t see that they are doing anything wrong or that they should be chastized for their behavior. Full exoneration is expected. Aghh! Makes me ill.

Ever notice how you have to read it here or hear it on the radio, that all these nere-do-wells with few exceptions are Democrats? And, even when we find a Republican stepping over the line, we eat our own ???? Amazing.

The wife and I contemplated a move out West, Wyoming. I would love to get away from manufacturing and particularly automotive manufacturing. All of our family lives here though. Parents, brothers, sisters, nieces, nephews. My wifes’ sister lives the furthest away…Chelsea (about 25 minutes) Tough to leave that behind….

This case is not about an affair. This case is about total and complete corruption of a mayor, his staff, city attorneys, and command structure of the police department.
Capsule of the story- Mayor holds party at mayor’s mansion (Manoogian mansion). A couple of strippers are performing when mayors wife shows up. She blows up and smacks stripper with a “wooden object”. Stripper shows up dead 2 days later with 17 bullet holes in her from a common 40 caliber police load. Fast forward to internal affairs investigation of mayors 9 person security force. Investigating officers and deputy chief of internal affairs summarily fired. They sue for wrongful termination. The cops lawyer somehow finds out that the mayor and his chief of staff have city issued text pagers. Under oath both the mayor and his chief of staff deny discussing termination of the officers and also deny have a sexual relationship. The text messages were kept by Skytel which the cops lawyer has subpoenaed. The text messages show that both the mayor and chief of staff were lying on both counts. Outside the court room the cops lawyer informs mayor’s counsel that he is filing a motion to introduce text messages. Mayor’s attorneys quickly offer out of court settlement of 8.4 million of the city’s money with a confidentiality agreement to keep deal secret. Court asks mayor’s attorney if a secret agreement exists he denies it in court. Cops attorney let’s slip that there is an agreement. Multiple courts order documents released to Detroit Free Press under FOIA act.

Fast forward to day- County prosecutor lays 8 charges on the mayor and 7 on his chief of staff. Mayor’s lawyer claims selective prosecution and “poisoned” evidence used in prosecution.

More to come. The 14,000 text messages purported to hold a treasure trove of illegal and unethical conduct including bid rigging and further corruption in the Police Department

Background: The Mayor has already tried to play the race card. It is getting some traction but with 92% Black council, 85% Black population, and a Black prosecutor it is hard sell. Pretty much all these people are Democrats so the rascally Republicans are not being mentioned at all. Stay tuned- this story is unfolding as an episode of the Sopranos meet Cedric the Entertainer.

BTW- Kwame is the son of Carolyn Cheeks Kilpatrick- D- Michigan, head of the Congressional Black Caucus.

Check out the hilarious video of Kwame Kilpatrick's anti-Israel Congresswoman Mommy defending her son--more deranged than Cynthia McKinney--when he first faced these allegations (first video at the bottom of article). I only wish we could see a reprise, but I doubt we will. Too bad.
