Fitna has arrived; Update: “Restraint?” We’ll see; Plus: A case of mistaken identity

Readers are sending the Liveleak English version of Geert Wilders’ Fitna, which has just been posted. (Be patient, may be a little slow to load.) It’s 15 minutes with scenes of jihad interlaced with quotes from the Koran. We are reminded of 9/11, Madrid, the murder of Theo van Gogh, and the threats to Ayaan Hirsi Ali’s life.
The film ends not with any blasphemous image of Mohammed, but with an image of a hand about to tear out the murderous verses of the Koran and a sound effect of tearing (with a caption explaining that the sound was actually the sound of a page being torn from a phonebook).
Prepare for more March Madness. I don’t know what “solidarity” is in Dutch, but show it by embedding the video, e-mailing it, and writing about it. Their fight for the right to criticize the Religion of Perpetual Outrage is our fight.

Update: Some have been able to upload “Fitna” to YouTube; it’s been yanked in some places, hidden behind the 18-or-older wall in others.
Update: There is supposedly “restraint” and anger following the release of “Fitna.” We’ll see how “restrained” the Religion of Perpetual Outrage is after the mosques let out tomorrow:
In a short statement delivered both in Dutch and in English, Mr Balkende said the Government “regrets” that Wilders released his 17-minute movie on the internet, as he had been vowing to do.
“We believe it serves no purpose other than to offend,” he said.
“But feeling offended must never be used as an excuse for aggression and threats.”
The Prime Minister said the Government felt heartened “by the initial restrained reaction by Dutch Muslim organisations”.
In initial reactions, those organisations seemed relieved that Wilders’ film – which mixed violent images of terror attacks with Koranic texts – were not as bad as expected.

As for Denmark falling, why would we respond to that? We watched nearly all of Europe (not to mention the Pacific region) fall TWICE before fighting back.

I’ve avoided all those videos on purpose, and I have no desire to see them now.
RE #26….From what I gather, it can only be saved using the Firefox browser. BUT…and it’s a big one….if you install Firefox just long enough to add the add-on and then download it, you can convert it to play on what is called Wimpy FLV player. That also plays Saved YouTube videos with SaveTube, but LiveLeak I guess only works with the Firefox. If I get it first (too much traffic)…I would be more than happy to forward to friends : )
Have nots such as myself who are restricted to using dial up 56k band width have little change to view most/all Michelle/HotAir audio visual clips. What would be of great service would be to screen print poignant scenes/screens with accompanying text as tabled/html and images/compressed 11% jpg. I’d do it myself but downloading 15 minutes of audio/visual at 56k would be time prohibitive.

The movie is just islam (you can read it all for yourself they wrote it all down)but many people will find that disturbing as well.

The good news is that Christianity is saving 6 million Muslims a year!
Since islam doesn’t comprise of one or more governments, I’m not sure how (if it’s possible) to save Europe this time.

OK…the Firefox thingy didn’t work correctly, BUT….if you have RealPlayer 11, you have an option in “setup” for a “download this video button”. i did that and now have my own copy of the movie. Not used to RealPlayer but will find out if I can burn to CD or DVD or even email it around.
This should be required viewing at all theaters like they did with the old news reels during WWII.

While watching the part in it showing terror and brutality, all I could picture in my mind were Muslims watching this laughing and cheering as if they were watching a NBA slamdunking contest.
I applaud Geert Wilders’ bravey and his concern for his countrymen.
Fitna, is an expression of his beliefs and concerns just as jihad, murder, terror, female genital mutilation are the result of following the Koran.
Fitna, does not expose anything new about Islam. Nor does it expose anything new about muslims or the Koran.
As a Pentecostal, my first and foremost concern for all people is their salvation. Yes, the violence and atrocities the Muslims commit are a grave concern but not nearly as much as seeing so many people wholly given to the idolatry of Islam. Their idolatry is what fuels their hatred, their arrogance, their murderous and destructive rages.
Idolatry is the problem.
The Koran is the means by which the fires of idolatry are stoked to a white hot fire.

Finally able to get home and watch this. The DOD doesn’t allow me to see videos or go to Hot Air while at work. I found myself clenching my jaw rather hard while watching this. I am with Leatherneck #12 BZO my weapons while keeping myself proficient in their use, harness ready, boots polished and BDU’s serviceable ready to wear, and hair cut to military standards yesterday. Need to get back on the bike as soon as the weather allows and drop 10 lbs this spring (should take about a month) while hitting the base gym a couple of times a week working the upper body. Thanks Michelle for linking to this reminder of why we must fight to win.

I think the barbarians are going to be in for a rude awakening when they face the wrath of the American citizenry, which will deal with them far more harshly than our wimpy government will.

This is similar to the documentary “Obsession” which stresses the extreme similarities to the Nazi Movememnt. I own that video already. And it’s over an hour long. Someone ought to pull the cobwebs off of that one too.
I know they are already in Appalachia, This is a reaction to the MHA (Melungeon Historial Association) and its association with Turkish association. Last month there were two resignations and this is a Melungeon Research Author, Tim Hashaw, demanding his books be taken off of the MHA website. Melungeons don’t descend from Turkish people, there is no such thing as Turkish DNA, nothing specific to Turkish people’s DNA to indentify them from other people who come from the same geographical area. The MHRG is trying to expose what the MHA has been doing. This came to ahead when the Turkish Govt was lobbying our Govt over the Armenian geneocide issue alot of Melungeon researchers refused to let Melungeon heritage be used for political influence. Again Melungeons are not of Turkish descent.
