I guess “B.C.” and “A.D.” are offensive to liberals and Muslims; therefore, we need to appease them by getting rid of any reference to Christ.

    I noticed on the new dollar coin that “In God We Trust” has been removed.

    Again, the more anti-American and anti-Israeli Muslims we allow into our countries, the more irrational, unenlightened, and barbaric our countries will become. The more we get rid of God, the more the moon god “Allah” will take His place.

    Europe, and its irrational squelching of free speech critical of Islam, is proof of that.

    or by a typical liberal who heard an entertainer, a socialist politican, or a socialist academic make some stupid statement, and then repeated it, expecting it to be accepted as accurate or deeply intelligent-sounding;

    or by an apologist who is either Muslim, or a lawyer or lobbyist who is on Islam’s payroll.

    In short, sounds just like something a Dhimmi would say.

    Let’s just hope we do not have too many such people in the U.S., or we may just end up joining Europe, and collectively bending over for the Muslims.

    I do, too, Granite. I first noticed it about 10 years ago in publications about Asian art and thought it very weird and annoying.

    The scary thing, though, is how it has spread to the public schools. I teach in a Catholic school, and the previous teacher adopted a textbook for 6th grade in World History that uses “C.E.” and “B.C.E.” I told my students not to ever use those terms.

    The “B.C.E.” and “C.E.” are becoming mainstream in the schools today. Parents should complain.

    As far as the Smithsonian adopting those terms, doesn’t Congress fund the Smithsonian? Are there any Republican congressmen on a committee that funds it that could tell them to stop using “C.E.” and “B.C.E.?”
