- You complain about throwing around some “loaded” study…what did you do in post #94? To which I added a rational agrument in #98.

- The 30% who think 9/11 was an inside job, NOT Fox Viewers? Might be true, but that sounds exactly like an “unsupported assertion” of which you blame me.

And regarding the Rendell affair, would it not be FOX News’ benefit to have a Democrat boast how Fair and Balanced they are? Would it not benefit both FNC and Rendell/Clinton, to portray all the other news networks as biased?

As Fox News’s “Special Reports” “guests”: the news portion of it (first half-hour) doesn’t “do” guests. The opinion portion of it is….opinion and commentary. Of the panel “regulars” Mort is a RINO, while Fred and Krauthammer are on the right — except when Nina Easton, Jeff Birnbaum, Mara Liasson and Juan Williams —all liberals of varying degree — appear in their stead.

Still weighted toward conservatives? Maybe, but…so what??? Again, that part of “Special Report” is OPINION. Want liberal OPINION? go over to CNN and MSNBC!

Someone who stubbornly ignores the facts of reality that do not concur with their belief system. Should I not be concerned with the fact that 80% of FNC viewers have widespread misperceptions on Iraq (as per the linked study above)? Should I not be concerned with the fact that FNC’s flagship news program, Special Report, boasts among its guests 89%Republican, 71% avowed conservatives? No those don’t worry me, but those who think that represents to Fairness and Balance does.

I have no problem with Fox News viewers, my problem is with those viewers who believe it is a Fair and Balanced news network.

These people frighten you why? You can’t explain can you? If people who believe Fox is a fair and balanced network make you want to run for the hills, then perhaps you have very few problems and are just looking for something to worry about.
