Deadbeat Hillary: Leadership you can’t collect on
From Politico, the woman who promises billions and billions of your money to help other people pay their bills, won’t pay her own:
Hillary Rodham Clinton’s cash-strapped presidential campaign has been putting off paying hundreds of bills for months — freeing up cash for critical media buys, but also earning the campaign a reputation as something of a deadbeat in some small business circles.
A pair of Ohio companies owed more than $25,000 by Clinton for staging events for her campaign are warning others in the tight-knit event production community — and anyone else who will listen — to get their cash upfront when doing business with her. Her campaign, say representatives of the two companies, has stopped returning phone calls and e-mails seeking payment of outstanding invoices. One even got no response from a certified letter.
Their cautionary tales, combined with published reports about similar difficulties faced by a New Hampshire landlord, an Iowa office cleaner and a New York caterer highlight a less-obvious impact of Clinton’s inability to keep up with the staggering fundraising pace set by her opponent for the Democratic presidential nomination, Illinois Sen. Barack Obama.
…The New York senator’s presidential campaign ended February with $38 million in the bank, according to a report filed last week with the Federal Election Commission, but only $16 million of that can be spent on her battle with Obama.
The rest can only be spent in the general election, if she makes it that far, and must be returned if she doesn’t. If she had paid off the $8.7 million in unpaid bills she reported as debt and had not loaned her campaign $5 million, the cash she would have had available at the end of last month to spend on television ads and other up-front expenses would have been less than $2 million.
By contrast, if you subtract Obama’s $625,000 in debts and his general election-only money from his total cash on hand at the end of last month, he’d still be left with $31 million.

They are as they have always been, just a bunch of users. They use everyone around them as if they are disposable. Grifters.

Looks like the MSM is in the process of shifting grifters.
All politicos live off the hard work and capital of others. Their salaries are extractions from the citizenry. Their campaign donations are given of people’s freely available cash. The idea that the Hildabeast is stiffing people is quite reasonable considering the soulless thievery which is the system within which they exist.
What is this country coming to? A candidate who stiffs the people who support her… a candidate whose mentor damns America… a candidate who thinks he is south of the border.
Is there any real hope for us to cling to?

I bet she had no problems finding the money to pay Chelsea for her campaign efforts on the road. And I would be willing to guess that what she does get paid is exorbitant, to say the least…
Wow, I couldn’t comment until I watched the entire video. For a moment I was magically transported back to 1981. I had just graduated from high school and was looking forward to college. I didn’t care a lot about politics and a career in the military was the last thing from my mind.
Then the video ended and BAM - back to reality. I now understand Hillary when she said, “we’re going to have to take more of your money for the common good.”
She means her “common good” cause she can’t pay her bills.
Let’s assess all of the past few weeks.
1. She tells a whopper about being under fire.
2. She can’t pay her bills.
3. Her husband is getting in trouble again for mouthing off.
That’s just what I can remember. If she was in the military doing these types of things she would be receiving a general administrative discharge right now with the specific reason “unable to adapt to standards.”
She’s not doing a good job of making me believe she would be the CEO, CFO, and CinC of this country.
Ohhh… so thats her plan to fix the economy…
Just not pay bills.
No wonder she wants a Loan bailout…
Good advice to follow for anyone dealing with the Clintons.
Even better advice: “…get their cash upfront when doing business with her” - and hide your own!
Maybe Hill could sell some of the items she stole from the White House to pay off her bills. Just like a Democrat, steal as much as possible on your way out and use the proceeds to further your socialist programs. Looks like a hint at the future if we elect on of these morons.

Aww, c’mon Romeo, she has only had thirty-five years of experience. It is not like she has had enough time to plan it all out or anything sensible like that.
This is the woman who can’t worry about every under-funded capitalist.
Why is anybody surprised by this? I think if you dug deeper you’ll find plenty of deadbeat Democrats (I think John Glenn still owes some folks in Ohio for his unsucessful 1948 presidential bid). I think the real problem is that this kind of financial flim-flam never sees the light of day while a campaign is ongoing. Would be a good question to toss out at a rally for both Hillary or Obama. ‘Hey, how much does your campaign owe its creditors?’ and if they cannot answer that, they should be asked how they can then predict controlled spending in their administration, if elected.
And she expects to “manage” the country.
Yeah, right.
“W” never did anything like this. She needs a bagman like the late Ken (I had no idea) Lay to funnel money into her campaign, and then leave the employees, creditors and stock holders of Enron whining.
Hillary is also looting her donors who contribute to her campaign on their credit cards. They may agree to donate a couple grand to her campaign only to find out that Hillary has maxed out their credit cards to the tune of three grand, six grand, or nine grand in unauthorized charges. Wow, that Journey video was just the thing for a rainy, damp Monday morning. I loved Journey, still do even though they have someone who sounds like Steve Perry up front, a new drummer and they all have short hair now.
Maybe she invested her campaign money in cattle futures? I checked out that market at http://www.dailyfutures.com/livestock/ and discovered that the market has taken a nosedive staring just about February 5 (Super Tuesday). Coincidence?

Very sad that 2 members left Santana (I believe the keyboardist Greg Rolie; and the other guitarist, Neil Schon) to form Journey.
Journey sounds nothing like Santana of the late 60s through the first three albums.
And, since the first three albums, Santana sounds nothing like Santana.
So sad….
I caught Chelsea Clinton telling a tall tale/fish tale/fib in Philly a few days ago. The Philadelphia Enquirer on Friday of last week ran an article about Chelsea speaking at a predominately gay club on Thursday. Chelsea told the audience that her mom has fought for “civil unions longer than I have been alive”. Let’s see. Chelsea was born in 1981. At that time, Bill had been denied reelection in 1980, losing to Frank White. In 1981 Clinton was attempting to recast himself as a moderate so he could make a better run in 1982. There is no way that either he or Hillary was going to support “civil unions” in Arkansas. Nor did Bill or Hillary ever introduce or support legislation for civil union in his first term of 1979 to 1981. It is a fantasy. There is no evidence anywhere about Bill or Hillary supporting civil unions before Chelsea was born. I can find no evidence that at any time when he was governor that Bill Clinton or Hillary publicly supported civil unions in Arkansas. Oh I forgot. Hillary gave a speech endorsing civil unions on the tarmac in Bosnia.

Never. 70’s music is awful. And I’m including so-called “heavy” bands like Zeppelin and Sabbath too (I’ve nearly gotten my rear kicked for making that statement, but I will stand by it till the day I die!). I feel bad that you only had that and disco to listen to back in the day. Oh, and Cat Stevens.

Zeppelin does not have the 70s sound.
Never liked Sabbath.
Sabbath’s songs start to sound very much like each other, rapid and loud, sometimes almost to the point of the 70s-type of drinking-fighting-screwing clone-band music, as I called it then.
If I’m not quite accurate, that just goes to show you that, since I never liked Sabbath decades ago, I’m not sure whether I’d even recognize more than one or two of their songs.
The 80s were REALLY the time of clone bands.
Keep in mind the $300.00 Vegas dinners. Her hairdresser is paid for by the Democratic Party. Everywhere she goes, she only stays in deluxe 5-star accommodations.
Others can sacrifice, but La Hillary expects only the finest for herself.
