Just remember, government by definition is a monopoly; doesn’t create any wealth; is mostly immune from legal repercussions; and staffed, to a large extent, by union workers. You do the math. – LB1901

Repairing our infrastructure is necessary. Oklahoma has some of the worst roads in the country. But, I wonder what is her plan for doing that. New Orleans was given money for update and repair their levee system. They squandered it on other things, then blamed Bush for not updating and repairing their levee’s.
Also, why is their solution for everything “Raise taxes on the wealthy”? Sean Hannity has said that he never got a job from a poor person. So many of those liberals are also some of the wealthiest people. If they honestly believe they should be paying more, then lets see them lead by example, and write a million dollar check to the Government. Otherwise, shut your face!

Politicians do create jobs. Monica Lewinsky performed many jobs on for President Clinton. Emperor’s Club employees performed services for Client 9. We owe these patriotic politicians a round of thanks for buying American!

Speaking of jobs, Amb.Susan Schwab was on Lou Dobbs touting the free trade with Columbia agreement. She said we can ship Sony TVs made in Pittsburgh to Columbia among other things. She lied.

Oops, sorry. Brain fart there. Was working with the long scale billion instead of the more common short scale billion.

Even then, it would still be wrong. Thats $310,000 instead of 310 million using the long scale and $310 using the short scale.

Let’s see 93 billion divided by 300 million… I don’t think anyone needs to work anymore.

QFT. That’s $310 million per person if they handed that out as a check. Do these people actually stop to think about what they’re saying?

What they need to do is:
a) Explain how the government is going to create jobs.
b) Show how the arrived at the $93 billion figure
c) explain exactly where that money is going to come from. It is not sufficient to hand wave and say that we’ll tax the rich. Define “rich” and define how much tax you’re going to levy.

Once that is all out in the open, anyone with any semblance of a brain will jump out of the Clinton/Obama camp.

Has anyone looked at the “help wanted” ads lately, especially around D.C.? You can offer all the jobs you want, but if people want to sit at home, collect food stamps, unemployment checks, and welfare, there isn’t any amount of jobs that is going to get them off their front steps. Michelle was excellent in her views. That democrat could only play the same old stuff…it’s all Bush’s fault (forgetting the Congress which introduces and passes the legislation), the economy is dying, (which it isn’t) and that the only way to solve problems is to throw more and more of our hard-earned money at it, stand back, point, and say that the democrats are doing something. Besides, the unemployment rate is fine. Under Clinton, it was higher. When backed into a corner, they blame the “rich” for not paying their fair share. Well, I know who their “rich” is…it’s me and everyone else who pays taxes. Look at the figures.
