By Michelle Malkin  •  April 3, 2008 03:06 PM

Reader Ed photoshopped the Absolut Reconquista ad with a pro-enforcement, pro-sovereignty message. Raise a toast:

The way our elected see it, this photoshop of a fence is as close to a real fence on the border as we are going to get.

Oh, and RightisRight – just a note… I think you meant ‘borders’ – not ‘boarders’….

Boarders, are what we have now with all the extra bodies in the country… ( 12 to an apartment ).

that fence is way too expensive, as i found out @ Lowes a few weeks ago ($125/6ft)

the low budget steel fence with spikes on top that you see in innercities will do just fine.

afterall, i want to be a good steward of the tax dollar.

But it needs to be a double fence – you know, the one that DHS is NOT building.

It would be simpler for the Texas to just annex Mexico and be done with it, we already have half of their population, at least we would have the resources to help pay for their services and maintenance.

Here’s they way I heard it said before:

Take all of the people who lost their jobs due to Hurricane Katrina. Have them dig a moat along the border. Use the dirt to repair the levees around New Orleans. Take those man eating alligators that in Florida and put them in the moat.

    That ought to do it.

Wait, how about a canal too… we lost the one in Panama. I know it’s a lot of work BUT, hey, it will reinforce the fence, create a lot of waterfront property, create jobs, & we can use the excess soil to build New Orleans above sea level… plus we got lots of people just sitting in prison who could be productive & hey, shovels create no greenhouse gases. Wadda you say?

Annex Mexico, deport all those with European ancestry to their respective countries and we’re left with a population that would welcome conquista and happy to relearn their old ways, language(s), customs and religions. Works both ways, La Raza. Anyone with a spanish surname has to go. So sorry amigos..that said, they’d volunteer to build the fence from their side. ;)

I disagree…too much good food in the Central Valley. They can have Santa Ana, Fontana, Moreno Valley and everything south of there. We get Disneyland, though.

They can have the Gadsden Purchase back, too.

Today, I invited a friend of mine who works at the Paul Revere Inn in Lexington (the one in Ohio) to this web site.

Her response on seeing the ad was … not fit for a PG board. Not fit for an R rated board.

It was also not very nice regarding Absolut.

Doesn’t mean anything will change, however.

But I love the Photoshop and I’ll be using it as my Windows wallpaper. Sadly, as has already been pointed out – it’s probably the closest thing we’re going to see to a real border fence. and that, my friends, is sad.

    God Bless America.
Love it … or get the hell out!
