Obama’s newest radical preacher buddy goes national

By see-dubya  •  April 3, 2008 05:15 PM

[Guest post by See-Dubya]

Hey, since we’re talking about radical clerics making spectacles of themselves today, check out Obama’s new buddy getting some face time. Allah’s got a short clip of the Reverend Michael Pfleger’s outraged defense of Jeremiah Wright–and of Louis Farrakhan. (Farrakhan! That’s an association that will help Obama.) Michelle ran that full clip in her introduction to Michael Pfleger here, but Allah’s is a snippet from Fox News. Reverend Pfleger is goin’ big time!

Hillary says Obama can’t win, and the ongoing antics of his buddies in the Religious Left sure aren’t helping him. Remember, Obama’s nicer new preacher lamented on Easter that the Rev. Wright’s career ended in a “lynching“. (Apparently, “playing video of someone’s own speeches” is now equivalent to “lynching”. Who knew?)

It’s funny: after years of complaints about the influence of the Religious Right, and clamoring to raise ever higher the “wall of separation” between church and state, the Democrats look set to pick someone who is irretrievably linked to race-hustling religious radical reverends. It’ll be kind of fun for a change to get to throw these associations back in the Democrat’s teeth all during the campaign. We can even use their own puerile slogans against them. Here’s a start:

Just a thought. I imagine we can do better, though, than recycled liberal nostrums. Commenters?

What in the name of a greasy slide to perdition is wrong in Chicago? Looks like plenty. Heep’um plenty.

In thinking about all this it occurred to me that this ideology was not much different than what Manson was advocating in the sixties. Is this the change we are hearing about, where Manson types trade their jail cell for the pulpit?
    Here’s another link
The Beatles, Manson and the question, where did Rev. Wright get his ideas? , “Beatles were urging black people to arise and revolt against the white establishment.” (Blackbird, the White Album) The Beatles? Who knew? And No, I’m not necessarily sayin that the Rev is the black chuck manson or that BO is one of his family members.

I can only wonder what a Sunday service on the White House lawn might be with a couple hundred Subculture members, Michelle Obama, Jeremiah Wright, Michael Pfleger, and Louis Farrakhan. Need I say more, other than it’s not going to happen.

Like Wright, Father Michael Pfleger has close ties to Barack Hussein Obama and Father Michael Pfleger’s endorsement appears on Obama’s faith endorsements page, where Jeremiah Wright’s used to be… before he became too much of an embarrassment.

    http://www.transworldnews.com/NewsStory.aspx?id=42181&cat=14:

Pfleger, a respected social advocate in Chicago, had invited Wright to deliver a blessing at Saint Sabina during a visit by Maya Angelou. From the pulpit Pfleger went into an animated sermon blasting those who had criticized Wright. Pfleger said:

“Dr. Wright is one of the great biblical scholars of our country and the best of preachers in the prophetic tradition. Dr. Wright has been shamefully demonized by 30 second sound bites that have tried to re-define him into someone other than who he is.”

    http://dallassouthblog.com/2007/05/30/min-louis-farrakhan-visits-father-michael-pfleger-and-st-sabina/

Last week (May 25) the Honorable Minister Louis Farrakhan spoke at The Faith Community of St. Sabina, which is pastored by Father Michael Pfleger.

(Dr.) Father Pfleger and Min. Farrakhan have shared an long friendship as they both have labored to uplift the African-American community in Chicago and throughout the country.

Note: wonderment, wonderment, wonderment, both Pfleger and Wright are ‘Dr.’s Where did then get such distinctions. The GDA University.

The scary part is the fact that there is a serious candidate for President who is a radical. Normally, someone like that wouldn’t have a chance, but, these days, who knows. If he wins the nomination, and it looks like he will, we can only hope that the country wakes up and puts this guy away, in an election that would be a disaster to the democratic party.

    A fine alliteration, indeed!

You know, I never honestly thought about the left imposing it’s “religious” views, well, I mean, outside of the fact that they give special rights to Muslims out of fear.

But, I’ve always seen the hard, far left as wanting to eradicate religion so they can fulfill their selfish desires without natural law nagging their consciences.

But maybe Ann Coulter had a point when she said something about the evangelical left. At first I thought, how can evangelical Christians be liberals? It just doesn’t make sense?

But I see the brigade of Protestant reverends leads the way!
