Most of us are either a)making fun of Obummer or b)pointing out the completely useless exercise of political ploys such as “bowling” or “eating cheesesteaks,” c)looking deeper into this incident as yet another example of how politicians such as Obummer are insulated from the American people, or d)all of the above.

No problem with a. In fact, on another blog, back when Obama made his Arugula comment, I made fun of that. It was a really silly thing to say to a bunch of Iowa farmers and pointed out his lack of campaigning skills.

No problem with b. In fact, I would agree with that statement.

As for c…well ok, if that is what you want to read into the situation, fine. But as Yash correctly pointed out here…

Yeah, and I just bet, that if he HAD eaten the sandwich, someone would’ve made an article or comment about him ‘pandering to voters’. That’s what this sandwich eating, greasy spoon, baby kissing B.S. is all about anyway. It’s totally transparent.

If we don’t like a candidate, we get upset if they don’t do it right, and get upset if they do, calling it ‘pandering’.

You don’t like “Obummer.” Cool. I get it. Good for you. Try to cite stronger reasons than his dietary choices or that he didn’t pass up a free sample of expensive meat. Oh…and you forgot to cite the last reason people are commenting on this incident (and my personal favorite)…that he is eating ham to throw people off the scent that he is some sort of muslim Manchurian candidate sent here by terrorists to take the US down from the inside. If that isn’t deranged, I don’t know what is. I know you personally didn’t say that, but if you don’t believe that, I would call on you to reject and denounce those comments.

Joking about a candidate doing silly things is one thing. See, e.g., any late night talk show host. Emjem’s (among some others) multiple rants desperately trying to spin this incident to fit his already existing hatred of Obama is entirely another.

Actually, it’s pretty one-dimensional of you, Chaps, to “spin” my comments on Obummer as rants. Hatred is pretty strong a word for a person who categorically stereotypes Conservatives (as well as HuggyBear) as people who go off the deep end over meaningless events like plastic bag bans, bowling, and pretending to like local customs just to get votes.

I don’t share your world view, Chaps, nor will I ever. You like to go off the deep end (along with Huggy) every chance you get about what you find offensive about Conservatives or what Conservatives laugh at. If you don’t care, then why blog here?

What I don’t get is why you like to a) not ask me questons, b)come to conclusions about me or other Conservatives that are stereotypical and not helpful, and c)commit the same behavior that you say Conservatives are doing against Obummer, trolls, or you. If your presence on this blog weren’t so sad and ironic, I would laugh myself silly.

This is childishness, silly, and unworthy of a group of people I usually see pointing out how this sort of thing usually only matters to the left-wingers.
