By this same logic, they would have the judge award the stolen jewels to the convicted burglar, along with a modest fine. Since when does awarding the ill-gotten goods to the convicted criminal deter future crime? Duh. Our State legislature is totally useless letting an attempt in both houses to copy the success of Arizona die in committee. There will be an accounting on Election Day and some may not even make it through the Idaho primary next month. As far as John Fing Kerry goes once a traitor always a traitor.
