Shamnesty peddler John McCain; top entry in the McCain-spearheaded Reform Institute’s “Design Your Portion of the Border Fence” art contest; McCain’s open-borders Hispanic outreach director Juan Hernandez

For those of you in the Baylor University area, tonight is your chance to ask Juan Hernandez about his radical, open-borders agenda and his role in the McCain campaign. The event is free and open to the public. Bring your video camera:

Dr. Juan Hernandez, author of The New American Pioneers, will speak at 6 p.m. Thursday in Kayser Auditorium on Mexican immigration. His lecture will be based on his notes, “Why are We Afraid of Mexican Immigrants?”

Hernandez, a member of former Mexican President Vicente Fox’s cabinet, will be the final speaker for The Academy for Leader Development and Civic Engagement’s spring lecture series on leadership in public life. Hernandez has previously served as a speaker in Chapel.

“Participants will gain another perspective on the issues of immigration; hopefully expand the dialog on immigration reform asking the question, ‘Where should we as a nation be in creating reform on this issue?’” said Ramona Curtis, director for Leader Development and Civic Engagement. “When I met Dr. Hernandez last year, I found him to be very passionate about communities working together for the greater good. No matter where you stand on the issues of immigration, this lecture will prove to be engaging.”

Hernandez has a lengthy history of involvement in the Hispanic community. From serving as the first United States-born member of the Mexican cabinet to founding the Organization for Hispanic Advancement in October 2003, Hernandez is a proponent of immigration reform.

“He’s playing a key role nationally by facilitating an important discussion about immigration, and he’s certainly an expert on the topic,” said Dr. Frank Shushok, dean for student learning and engagement. “He has strong opinions about immigration reform that will spur on needed dialogue among students.”

Ask him about this comment: ““We must not only have a free flow of goods and services, but also start working for a free flow of people.”

Ask him about his lobbying for illegal alien driver’s licenses and Mexico first. Ask him about his defense of Mexican bus operators carrying illegal aliens to the USA, and promoted extending banking privileges to illegal aliens.

Ask him about this comment: “I want ‘em all to think Mexico first.”

Ask about his work for the Soros-funded Reform Institute.

Dont forget the 4 carloads of kids that get dropped off and picked up for school at said house.

Thievery is rampant in the third world. I know. I’ve lived and worked there. It’s always based on “It’s not fair. You have so much more.” This is Mexico’s justification for coming to America and stealing our wealth and taking it back home.

Mexico has a wealth of natural resources and many industrious people. It is a train wreck economically. Cause? Total criminality from top to bottom. It’s cultural. It’s a kleptocracy. My second home in the Philippines is just the same. I’m not sure there is a real world fix.

In the mean time, let’s keep the horde at bay. Build the fence. Jail flagrant employers. Shoot anyone on the fence. Works for me.

    I don’t give a rat’s **$ if that’s technically legal.
That doesn’t even pass the smell test.

‘Course, I think our government was insane some years ago to recognize dual citizenship.

When I was a kid, dual citizenship was something “2nd-rate” countries, not the U.S., recognized; if a U.S. citizen voted in an election in another country, or served in the armed forces of another country, that was it – U.S. citizenship was phwitt! – gone.

Similarly, new U.S. citizens renounced non-U.S. citizenship (the old “oath of allegiance” thing) upon their swearing-in.

Admittedly, I do not know every sophistic and clever, double-speak nuance of citizenship law…and I’m very glad I do not.

Man, we are in far worse trouble than I had thought.

That’s loose talk on McCain’s part. He’s not going to secure the border period. He’s planning on tossing it to the states who will toss it back to the federal level and then he’ll give up on securing the border and will sell us amnesty in order to “bring them out of the shadows”. I’m positive about that. Hell, the L.A. city council and the Mayor are not even willing to take control of the gang situation here. It’s a war zone. Yet another lady gunned down on the harbor freeway early today. Her car was shot 5 times (I’m not trying to imply that the shooter was illegal, just pointing out how bad the situation is).

All they want are votes, money, money, votes, money, votes and more money.

One Idea Ventura had that I like was to have a “None of the above” on the ballot. I really think “None of the Above” would get 80% of the vote.

I am a graduate of Baylor University (Communications Specialist – Class of ‘04). I would give anything to be able to make it down to Waco tonight. It said he had been a speaker in Chapel as well.

That frustrates me quite a bit that he would be given that kind of platform. All students are required to take two semesters of Chapel to graduate. Chapel occurs twice a week (Monday and Wednesday when I was there) and Christian speakers are brought in to speak to the students. At Baylor, you have an attendance policy as well, so it’s not as though you can skip the class. If you miss a certain number of times, you automatically fail the class (including Chapel). With both sections of Chapel included, I’m guessing he was given the ears of about 3,000 students in Waco Hall auditorium where they meet. The students didn’t have a choice there like they do tonight.
I wonder if you could still get a recording of his chapel presentation – they used to record them all.

Juan Hernandez is a foreign agent for a country that is invading our country. Last year, over 1 million Mexicans came to America illegally.

Why has the National Guard not been put on the border?

    What happened to the fence?

I think a good case could be made that our Politicians are allowing our country to be invaded and the destruction of our Sovereignty.

What do you think George Washington or Thomas Jefferson would say about all this?

I live in the poorest state in the US, Mississippi and I see them everywhere.

Especially if a new Olive Garden, Chilis, Chick filet, Books a Million, Dress Barn, Best Buy, Outback, etc., etc., etc., is being built.

Illegals from Mexico are master builders, because we Americans are too ignorant to know how to build to the standards of a good illegal.

I bet Mexicans were better builders than the Romans, or was it the mexicans that ended the roman empire?

I wouldn’t be so quick with the Newtster, let us not forget his global warming ad with Gore and Sharpton.

I think Newt is an extension of what is wrong with the republican party. He is far better than McCain, but we can say that McCain is better than alot of democrats.

Hernandez is a certified traitor. Born in Dallas, he decided as an adult to become a dual-national Mexican citizen. His last “real” job was serving on Mexican President Vicente Fox’s cabinet as his “American Reconquista Director.” After that gig ran out, he worked (sic) for George Soros funded internationalist foundations, like the one that published his new book.

The “New American Pioneers” proclaimed in his book are the illegal alien invaders he urges to become settlers in the USA. Hernandez believes all Mexicans and Mexican-Americans in the USA should become dual citizens and consider themselves Mexicans first, “to the 8th generation.” He believes there should be no border at all between Mexico and the USA, ever.

And this is the man McCain chose for his “Hispanic Outreach Director.” In the past week McCain was asked about this choice, and he said he chose Hernandez because he agrees with his positions. If so, McCain is supporting invasion and reconquista.

Thats a euphemism relating to the way the OBL wants us to believe illegal aliens live and why we deserve to be punished for not giving more of our racist tax monies.

I live in a state that sends social services to illegal aliens houses to get them signed up.

Hernandez, a member of former Mexican President Vicente Fox’s cabinet,

Gee, I don’t know, why is the Mexican government afraid of Guatemalans? I mean, to the point where they shoot them crossing the border, and the Guatemalans would in many cases kill their babies themselves before trying to cross.

And you know, it’s not Mexican immigrants we’re afraid of, it’s the drug smugglers and terrorists that are trying to get across the border, and guess what? A fence will hinder them! Imagine that!

That’s why property gets fenced…you know, to keep people out!

I just wish the conservatives in the media would focus more on that than on deporting Hispanic families. Why do we deport the Muslims who want sharia law and help all those liberals who hate America move to Canada or France? I mean, those two countries will be Islamic states in a few decades or so.

I know what they would have done, it was a rhetorical question.

    Remember, what Ben Franklin said after the Constitutional Convention;
“We created a Republic if you can keep it.”

We faced an invasion before from Mexico after we annexed Texas in 1845. Fortunately, our President at the time, James K Polk had read the Constitution and was compelled by his oath of office to defend the United States.

He sent General Winfield Scott and 12,000 troops to Mexico and Scott marched all the way to Mexico City defeating Santa Anna’s army resulting in the Treaty of Guadalupe Hidalgo.

Today, our President and Congress refuse to honor their oath of office and are aiding and abetting Mexico’s invasion of the United States.

IMHO- The founding fathers are all spinning in their graves

Our welfare, health care system, and economy being eviscerated at taxpayer’s expense. I suggest that he convince Mexico to try out his recommendations with its neighbors to the south (the border that they actually enforce) and let us know how that whole “no border” thing works out.

If it is good enough for us, then it should be good enough for them.
