I’m kind of in shock at how easily taken advantage of you guys are.

I wouldn’t call it that. In fact, I emailed Absolut and told them they should enjoy their customers going to different brands, now and that I bet they never thought they’d get such free advertisement for all of that.

I think it’s great that they did this, and I’d love to see others do it too, just to continue to rub it in the faces of Absolut. But that’s not exactly a business move, so for that, what a great publicity stunt. Absolut pulled an easy one, so SKYY did too. I like SKYY’s better, and will toast them for it.

Absolut served up an easy one to all of the Vodka companies, but it looked like the marketing department at Skyy was the only one to take advantage of it. I’m kind of in shock at how easily taken advantage of you guys are. Do you guys really believe that Skyy Vodka cares about the Treaty of Guadalupe? The press release sounds like a packaged corny empty gimmick to me. I guess a response, no matter how empty and devoid of meaning it is, is more important then no response at all to some.

But to each his own. Enjoy your Skyy vodka. Being a Texan, I prefer Titos.

I think I will just quit drinking anything but Fat Tire Ale.

Oh GOD that beer is SO good! Last time I had it was in Nederland, right before all the moonbats invaded Pearl Street in Boulder, several years ago. Pale Ale is my fav Fat Tire.

Smirnoff is made in the USA and bottled in Norwalk, CT. (At least that’s what our bottle said). We’ve also been drinking Finlandia which is really good. Skyy is just okay, but in light of this, I’ll be having a SKYY and pomegranite martini later!

Maurice Kanbar “invented” SKYY on a whim. A noted American inventor, he naively believed he could make a vodka with no cogeners (residual contaminants/chemicals) and reduce hangovers as a result. Not a big drinker he still wanted a pure drink that was void of residual crap. He did what the industry said could never be done and the rest is history.

Okay, we’re out of Grey Goose so maybe we’ll try Skyy. Seems like this Tito that everyone’s bragging about might get a try too if I can find it in the Commonwealth of VA or the Class VI.

Liquor is one common thread of immorality that is woven through virtually every culture and should not be promoted by so-called “Conservatives.”

Fortunately for you, this site promotes free speech – even if it’s a questionable comment from you deciding we Conservatives need to pass your moral litmis test on the discussion of liquor or the consumption of it..

Please don’t confuse the term Conservative with abolotionist. There are plenty of Conservatives who like to kick back with a beer or a drink, Pilgrim.
