A couple of interesting articles surfaced today on Obama's acceptance of contributions from "bundlers". Apparentl, a bundler is a person who is allowed to skirt campaign finance laws to solicit contributions from different people and and forward them on to the campaign in a bundle. Interesting. And a practice that has to be rife with abuse.

Since they are largely outside of the campaign finance laws, there is no real way to track precisely where the bundled cash comes from. And these bundles tend to be large.

In the most recent reports, <a href="http://www.humanevents.com/article.php?id=25997" rel="nofollow">here</a> and <a href="http://www.wnd.com/index.php?pageId=61278" rel="nofollow">here</a>, Obama received a bundle of $50,000 (visions of freezer money) from the co-founder of Code Pink, Jodie Evans. Yes, the same Jodie Evens and the same Code pink who disrupts the testimony of the military brass on Capitol Hill, is cozy with Hugo Chavez, and who funnels money to the "other side" in the Iraq War.

Nice to know Obama's special interest contributions bans do not include bundlers and groups that are decidely anti-military.

Oh well, his photo stream, his right to delete comments he doesn't like.
The image in question, a picture of far left extremist democrat Barak Obama in full cult of personality Che mode.
I didn't bring that aspect up though, I just pointed out that...

Just another of "today's politicians", who represent, not the people or Constitution, but whoever contributes more money to their campaign fund. Lobbyists are the ones who control the Congress and other government agencies. The first thing new politicians do, once they sit down in their offices, and finish all the congratulatory calls, is to get going on reelection. That's where lobbyists make their money.

I have a suspicion along the lines of what Silky has mentioned. The fellow in question is also a blogger on the Houston Chronicle website. He has pretty well banned me for calling him an Oil Executive, which I picked up from his own writing on March 31. He is in very deep for Obama and his blog is a daily dose of love for Obama and ridicule for Hillary and of course anything to the right of Ghandi. My question is, how is such an advocate going to be regulated under the new campaign finance laws? Can a campaign operative be regulated? Or a guy that passes himself off as a regular Joe with an especially good ear for what the campaign needs to get out?
