On the ‘elitist’ debate: I’ve been amused to see the likes of Bill Kristol, Roger Kimball and Rich Lowry and other conservative commentators so incredibly desperate in their efforts to convince people like me that we’re being looked down upon by Obama — a black guy raised by a single mom who worked as an organizer among the poor of Chicago, etc. etc.

Actually, I think he was raised by his white grandmother, who he said he looked down upon for being a “typical white person.” Thanks for everything, Grandma!

If those of us in Middle America, and I don’t mean that as a geographic designation, remain silent, our area of influence will remain static or more likely, decrease. We need to be more vocal and more active in securing our own future. We gather and complain to each other but why are we not organizing and being as visible as those on the left? (As an aside, Pittsburgh is spelled with a final H.)

After reading the news every day, about how the illegals are getting free rides in this country, adored by our politicians, and more are coming in than going out,I wonder about that Absolut map. The more I think about it, the more accurate that map is becoming…a few years early, but Absolut in 5-7 years, may have the last laugh.

That’s because most pollees don’t want to appear racists for admitting they feel offended.

Instead, they’ll anonymously vote their bitterness by pulling the lever for ABO (anybody but Obambi) and it won’t necessarily be for cHillary. As indicated by Frank Luntz’s post-debate survey, about half the dems indicated they would vote for McVain if their favored Dem is beaten by the other.

Keep in mind that it takes two gallons of regular gas to get 1 gallon of ethanol. So by forcing the use of ethanol they are using more gas thus gobbling up supply and causing an artificial price increase….

There ya go. Polls probably make a bit more sense to use. The quote you used before was worthless.

Point is, is that the punditry are making more out of this than the majority of voters are.

You might be right, but remember that even a few percentage point impact would be bad.
