Global warming deniers are like Chamberlain with their thousands of excuses why the gathering storm is not dangerous. Gore is like Chruchill. He will be recognized as having seen the danger.

Gore is more like Chicken Little, and the Chamberlain comparison would be ever so much more apropos when used with apologists/enablers for the rising illegal alien tide.

Dare I even make comparisons for Gore's profiteering from his manufactured global warming to gangsters profiteering from protection rackets?

Do I smell a RICO act application here?

From Businessandmedia.org:
“The second world war we knew was there,” Mates said. “There’s a big discussion. Some say there is global warming, some say there isn’t. And to stick a tree in place of a flag on the Iwo Jima picture is just sacrilegious.”

Note the phrase “The second world war we knew was there.”

It was entirely appropriate for the cartoon to use the imagery, as it was used to convey a political message on war; employing the iconic image of a U.S. wartime victory to lampoon an unthinking move by the left (early troops withdrawal) that will surely lead to a U.S. defeat, is perfectly in bounds and keeping with the image’s meaning.

However, there is simply no equating the monumental image of Iwo Jima - one of our nation’s most expressive wartime visuals - to an agenda motivated event that is neither grounded in scientific fact (supported by indisputable, empirical evidence) nor in actual warfare. For Time to have misused this image is not only egregious, it is a disgraceful act of malice that trivializes the real wars we must fight!

Gore is like Chruchill.

Whew; glad it was misspelled, I almost thought you had ventured to compare that hypocrite Gore to someone of substance. Here's a thought--when they flew the planes into the World Trade Center on Sept. 11, 2001, would you have rather had Gore in the White House?

It's just unbelievable. I'm so tired of the "Save The Planet" mantra and all the companies tripping over another splashing green paint over their ads -- and liking it to child welfare too. In schools you learn if you're green that makes you a "better caring person." Hey, the earth doesn't need saving -- it's done pretty damn well surviving cataclysms far beyond what man can do for eons! Neither is life the fragile eggshell the greens and academics tout it is; if life can flourish after a asteroid strike wipes out 75% of life on earth the biosphere can damn sure tolerate a few fossil fuel emissions! What really gets me is why isn't the Mars and Venus probe solar flux/ planet temperature readings getting any play? Is NASA waltzing with the greens? Oh, forgot, NASA's been doing that on the sly for a while -- happily touting solar panels powering some probes but keeping mum about what powers probes like Galileo and Cassii (nukes, guys!). Is there no company or candidate who'd stand up to all this "Green PC"?
