Shalit’s father responded appropriately by deriding Carter as a postman for Hamas.

Former US Pres. Jimmy Carter, has not openly endorsed Barack Obama, yet he says almost all in his family support the Democratic nominee.

Carter has not yet formally endorsed Obama as the Democratic presidential nominee and he is not seemingly to do so in a meeting with reporters Monday, according to AP.

The former president says many people in Ghana, Nigeria and Nepal, have selected Obama as their favorite.

“World opinion is strongly supportive of Obama, that’s all we hear,” he reiterated.
