I discussed the Three Amigos summit with Neil Cavuto this afternoon. As I noted in the interview Bush and Calderon celebrated the re-opening of a Mexican consular office in New Orleans. These satellite offices are dedicated to abetting illegal immigration and obstructing enforcement of our immigration rules and regs. Bush was happy to oblige:

From the Dallas Morning News, an interesting tidbit:
Mexico’s President Felipe Calderón comes to Dallas on Tuesday with bridge-building credentials. He has a Harvard master’s degree, English fluency – and relatives who work illegally in the U.S.
All three attributes should serve him well when he meets separately with Mexican immigrant leaders and Texas business executives.
Like Calderon says: “Mexico does not end at its borders.”

Thanks for posting this Michelle! It is very important to know what your enemies (foreign and domestic) are up to when it comes to selling us out to the illegal invader. If I was a tin foil wearing conspiracy theorist I would almost believe there is a secret agreement to turn the US, Canada, and Mexico into the North American Trade Union. After seeing this and link flenser provided to the Center for Immigration Studies http://www.cis.org/articles/2006/back706.html on the 3 Amigos thread. I think it is time to honor San Jacinto day and run this foreign agent (Calderon) out of the country on a rail.
Being from the Dallas area and seeing how the illegal immigrants are EVERYWHERE, this just makes me so furious. This is not my Texas anymore. Sadly, Perry, Hutchison, and Cornyn seem determined to continue making it easy for illegals to come and take good jobs away from the citizens of Texas. McCain will just carry on with the same as well. We have zero choices this fall.

Aside from being my mother’s birthday…and Queen Elizabeth’s….it is the anniversary of the Battle of San Jacinto here in Houston,wherein General Sam Houston captured Santa Ana and assured Texas independence….and to celebrate the day I must state categorically that my fist does not end at Calderon’s nose…2 can play that game

Juan Hernandez describes the 20 million plus illegals in this country as “new pioneers”. Calderon is of the same mindset, and wants to insure that his pioneering efforts continue to grow and flourish.
Perhaps it is time to wake up and recognize that this is now a well orchestrated plan on the part of Mexico to colonize parts of the US. The mantra of “racial” superiority, the total rejection of assimilation, the demand for rights of citizenship with none of the corresponding duties and resonsibilities, the open defiance of law and order, the slow bleeding of our infrastructure, and the continued mass influx of similairly minded invaders are strong evidence that we are well beyond the possibility of people coming here illegally merely for better paying jobs.
Illegals now represent close to 10% of the entire population of the US, and Mexican illegals now represent over one third of all Mexican citizens. If you illegally relocate a third of your population in another country, chances are that your intentions are geared toward extending your sovereign borders into that country.

Why is Texas so unfriendly to Mexicans; rubbing salt into the wounds of their first defeat for ownership of Texas? How are Texans going to feel when the reconquista fireworks show up once a year when they take retake their land?

Thanks for keeping us informed of the Mexican manifest destiny, Michelle.
We have here the ultimate weakness of a democracy, not enough of us will fight the subjugation of America. Only a minority of we the people are doing that, not even enough to have a new Revolution to sweep away the existing power structures that are destroying us. Since Mexico will likely take over several states, perhaps we true Americans could do the same?
Calderón is acting for his country and his people as it is to their advantage to invade and occupy the United States.
Would that Bush had any patriotism. If Jorge, Juan McCain, and Jillary Clintón are determined to give our country away, one can hardly fault Calderón for taking advantage of the situation for his people.
This was bitter sarcasm for those who might have thought I give a rats a$$ what the mexicans think of us celebrating a US victory
I am not surprised that Calderon is going to Dallas to make his speech. Dallas goes out of its way to be “politically correct” when it involves illegals. Even though you must speak English on the Police Department, they have formed a recruiting group that only seeks to hire Spanish speaking officers. You must speak Spanish to be on the recruiting team. Just another example of their attempt to have a rainbow coalition on everything they do.
I’m sure he’s here to accept capitulation agreements we may have left standing…and fitting on the anniversary of the Battle of San Jacinto, that he comes with recognition from our own Commander in Chief on Mexico’s victory of “La batalla de los Estados Unidos luchó por la inmigración ilegal”.
(That’s “Battle of The United States fought by illegal immigration” to those lowly subjects still unable to ‘hable el langauge’.)

Funny, that isn’t the story at its southern border….
Illegal immigration ended long ago. What we are experiencing is more properly described as an invasion, perpetrated by the Mexican government, using poor workers as a makeshift army. The goals are plunder and eventually conquest. Whether or not the entirety of Mexico’s citizenry or government agrees with or even knows about those goals does not matter, what does is that the enacted policies reflect them.
Mexico’s invasion of our country should be met with a military response. The border should be militarized, people attempting to cross illegally should be shot. Don’t think of that as cruel. I guarantee that crossings would cease almost immediately after it became apparent there were consequences. Hell, I’d be fine with an amnesty period of a few days or weeks for the word to spread before actually shooting anybody.
The bottom line is that the damage being done by this crude invasion force is very real both in terms of wealth stolen from us and lives taken or altered by violent illegals. There can also be no question that the Mexican government approves of it. Wars have been waged for far far less, and rightfully so. The problem has only become so bad because of how obviously unwilling we are to defend our sovereignty.
I think most of the American people realize this, but our political elite long ago “evolved” beyond the crude type of common sense that would make it obvious to them as well.
Just another thing to give real conservatives that vertigo sensation when we see Bush surrendering our sovereignty to the uber corrupt Mexican government. And the American voters, like dutiful sheep, keep voting for politicians that refuse to protect our borders. Save for a couple of strong patriotic souls, can the entire legislative and executive branch be impeached simultaneoulsy??? All in favor…..
Hey, you gotta give the recent Mexican presidents credit. They figured out the achilles heel of a republic, which is at the same time its strength. VOTES. No need to fire one single shot if the target republic is unwilling to protect it’s border or halt foreign meddling in it’s politics. Just flood them with your citizens (preferably the least educated and highest propensity toward crime), work hard to keep the loyalty of those immigrants by placing “consular’s” offices everywhere, campaign for your country’s elections in the target republic, encourage dual citizenship and voting in elections of both countries, encourage extremely high birth rates (especially if the target country allows birthright citizenship), encourage them to cling to their culture and language, keep the target country population quiet through PC and guilt, and voila you have one heck of a 5th column. Once critical mass population is reached, you can sway the elections. Of course, the ability to sway the election gives you power to demand more consessions which will favor even greater population growth. Developing a death spiral the target republic’s citizens can’t stop. Unfortunately, we are right at that point now and our politicians will do nothing to stop it.
