All eyes on PA; 8pm: Polls closed, “competitive” race is “too close to call;” 8:50pm: Fox calls it for Hillary, MSNBC follows; 10:15pm: Obama falls flat in Philly, Hillary basks. “Yes, we will”…now send me money!
Hillary’s theme song tonight: Ha, ha, ha. Stayin’ alive, stayin’ alive…
Scroll down for updates…
Polls close at 8pm Eastern in the Keystone State.
I’m waiting in the studio to do a Fox News segment on Billbo’s latest eruption in a few minutes.
FNC is reporting a few new exit poll results…
Take with the usual grain of salt.
- Crackerquiddick fallout? Gun owners went for Hillary over Obama, 58 percent 42 percent.
- BO gets the college-educated vote, 54 - 46.
- Who’s more negative and “unfair?” Hillary over BO, 67 - 49.
Stay tuned.
Waaaay to early to think these are worth anything, but Drudge is touting the Hillary/Obama 52-48 early exits. More at HA.
No matter the outcome, Hillary’s not going anywhere.
More intra-party bickering. More Purple Fits of Rage to come. More Clintonian fables to be uncovered More Obama-supporting nutballs to be discovered. Bring it on!
7:46pm Eastern. The media narrative of the night: Divisiveness is turning every one off…
Despite all the down-to-the-wire campaigning, preliminary exit poll results indicate that nearly eight in 10 Pennsylvania voters made up their minds at least a week ago, and six in 10 decided on their candidate more than a month ago — a higher number of early deciders than the norm in Democratic primaries to date.
As far as campaigning, many discern a negative tone and more blame it on Sen. Hillary Clinton, D-N.Y., than on Barack Obama, D-Ill. Two-thirds of Pennsylvania voters in preliminary exit poll results say Clinton attacked Obama unfairly; fewer, but still about half, also say Obama unfairly attacked Clinton.
Late deciders are going for Clinton over Obama, 58-42, sez CNN.
8:02pm Eastern. Polls are closed. The cable nets pronounce it a “competitive” race that’s “too close to call.”
While we wait for the verdict, be sure to check out See-Dubya’s handy guide to which terrorists support which Democrat candidates.
8:24pm Eastern. Tidbit from Allah at the HA liveblog: “Operation Chaos mythbusted? Among people who switched their registration from GOP to Democrat, Obama wins 55/40.”
8:50pm Eastern. FNC calls it for Hillary, with 1 percent of precincts reporting.
8:52pm Eastern. MSNBC projects for Hillary.
Now, the important question: By how much?
8:55pm Eastern. Bill Bennett joking about Hillary and Obama pandering to working-class voters: “She did shots better than he bowled.”
8:56pm Eastern. CNN explaining why it’s not calling the race yet…waiting for Center City returns…nothing from Scranton yet…not enough results to make a call…
9:26pm Eastern. CNN has finally called it for Hill. FNC says Hill might run “Chicken Obama” ads mocking his pulling out of the NC debate.
Bob Casey is shilling for Obama. Casey says Obama was the underdog.
McAuliffe says Hillary was the underdog.
Everyone’s an underdog.
9:30pm Eastern. Current spread from actual poll returns: Hill/Obama: 53-47.
Here’s a Tuzla photoshop flashback to celebrate Hill’s triumph tonight. Credit: commenter franksalterego’s.
10:00pm Eastern. My eyes, my eyes. FNC is running that stomach-emptying Pelosi-Gingrich global warming ad.
10:05pm Eastern. At CNN.com, here’s what the PA returns map looks like right now:
10:18pm Eastern. Hillary’s on stage. Bill has escaped from his cage. He’s standing behind her.
The crowd is screaming, “Yes, she can!”
Recounting her blue-collar roots again. Will she pull out a shot?
10:23pm Eastern. Hillary grinning from ear to ear, whipping out the gender card, recounting little girls sitting on their mothers’ shoulders whispering, “See, you can be anything you want.”
Yes, you can be a professional pathological liar, too, and get away with it, just like me!
10:25pm Eastern. Hillary takes a crack at the See-Dubya-coined Crackerquiddick: Tips her hat to waitresses and police officers and other regular folks. “You deserve a champion who stands with you.”
10:27pm Eastern. GREEN JOBS!
Superhero Hillary will solve global warming, save science, cure autism, Alzheimer’s, AND diabetes!
10:32pm Eastern. Hillary thanks Bill and Chelsea. Do I see her gritting her teeth? Hillary thanks her loser brothers, her mom.
“As long as you stand with me, I’ll always get right back up…So let me ask you: Will we once again be the can-do nation, the nation that defies the odds and does the impossible? Will we break the barriers…reach out to the world and lead by the power of our ideas? Take back the White House and the country?”
Lame.
“My answer to any who doubt is ‘Yes, we will.’”
The cable talking heads say she’s “energized.” I found her perfunctory.
The most animated she became was when she plugged her website and begged for money.
10:37pm Eastern. With 74 percent of precincts reporting, Hillary’s ahead by 8 percent.

Disaster versus Disaster.. fascinating.. like watching a train wreck in slow motion. A preview of November.
Watching FOX…that overwrought bundle of blond ambition, Megyn Kelly, is about to pee on herself.
Best bet this year is to dig a bomb shelter and hide in it for the next four years and only come out when the country has come back to it’s senses, that is we still have a country left in four years.
I can watch Megyn Kelly for hours at a time.
If Barack can pull this off in PA, it will be the biggest primary upset I’ve seen, considering what’s at stake, and how late in the season it is.
Michelle, please be careful when referring to Slick Willie and eruptions. This kind of reference is fraught with peril!
Ow! Keep that salt out of my wounds!
Just watched you bust Slick’s chops on FNC,Michelle…nice job…but the word is ‘cussing’ when he does it…’cursing’ is what ladies do in a fit of pique…otherwise, you were right on target
Best election season ever. If only it would never end. I mean that, sincerely.
Just finished watching you, Michelle. Even Williams couldn’t argue with you. Great discussion.
any pool results on who won the the arugula buyers .
or would that be those whole foods shoppers?
I think they both deserve to lose.
All thru the melee soon to follow, I do hope that the people of the 22nd District write-in LTC William Russell as a challenger to Murtha.
Great job Michelle. Although my better half gets jealous every time you’re on.
I am hoping Shrillary pulls this one off. I have been enjoying the Libs destroying their party for all to see. This will prolong it just that much longer and cause more damage as they show their true colors on the world stage.
Juan the NPR king even agreed. What a fun day tis been. Get off early with pay, then watch fox and MM shows up.. Whats next Ruth Chris steakhouse delivery?? Yea baby
Hillary might blitz PA but will meet her Waterloo May 6.
Exactly. If you believe cnn.com’s exit polls, Obama is going to get his butt handed to him tonight, but it won’t be by enough to change anything narrative wise.
Don’t know what to make of the early exits. Obama has always polled strong in the early exits on days that he’s been poised to finish Hillary, only to go down even more strongly than expected that night.
I’m still inclined to think that Hillary wins solidly and keeps her campaign alive. Democrat voters have shown that with this field, its a lot easier to keep both candidates around than have to knock one out and be stuck with the other…
Tonight’s primary is like the Democrat’s Groundhog Day. If Obama sees his shadow, it’s six more weeks of infighting.
However, only 10% of those students who committed to a democrat candidate actually showed up to vote.
This was due largely to the fact that most of them were high because it’s Earth Day.
Oh, I forgot….
4 MORE MONTHS!
4 MORE MONTHS!
4 MORE MONTHS!…
After Gore and his minions whined forever about Florida, funny how no one but Clinton mentions Florida now. Hmm, is that chad punched out less than 50% or more than 50%? But now the Dems won’t count any Florida votes? Oh wait, it’s politics…
Michelle,
The only thing you forgot in your commentary was “halelujah!”..is this a Mad, Mad, Mad, World or What?
I’ve given up trying to predict this election. Last year I would have bet anything that Her Royal Highness would have coasted to the nomination. Ditto no way McCain is the GOP nominee. I guiltily confess to hoping for a Denver convention that resembles Chicago ‘68 though.
I had to switch over to CNN and heard Clinton shill Jeffrey Toobin pushing the widely-accepted foolishness that if Obama can’t win in PA (OH/TX, etc.), then he can not win the general.
News flash for talking heads: These are PRIMARY elections. They suggest very little about what a given state will do in the general. Of course, I would not want to interfere with the spin that is needed to fill the news cycle and serve the campaigns.
Milwaukee used to be known for beer…now there’s M-mike….Sad how things of gone down hill.
McCain, Huckabee, and Ron Paul were on the Republican ballot in PA. I wrote in Mitt Romney. The best vote I have ever cast in my life.
LOL Keystone, I just saw that too. Came here to make a comment. MM has some fast little workers here. I would be extremely happy if McCain lost to any of them.
The longer this democratic fiasco continues the better!
Kind of OT/Does anybody know how Tony Snow is doing? Saw that he was sent to the hospital today. (Sorry MM,)
You keep forgetting the “Where in the World” heads up. Luckily, I caught your appearance. Nice job. (as usual).
By the way, turn out at our precinct was light, mostly republican. My party change to “no affiliation” did go through after all, so I did not vote.
Ok, here we go. Polls are closed now, except for the ones where lawyers are probably trying to have stay open. But haven’t heard of any shenanigans yet.
Brit Hume says that Obama has tended to under perform in actual votes counted compared to his exit polling results. And the exit polling seems to be running very solidly towards Hillary.
CNN was talking about massive “shenanigans.” Claim was that there where hundreds of calls describing precinct(s?) where NO machines worked and no paper ballots were available. Voters were allegedly told to wait until “experts” arrived. No experts showed in any reasonable time frame.
Other reports of people newly or changing to Dem registration arriving and finding themselves not on the roles.
Of course, partisans exaggerate these stories, if not invent them altogether. Still, it really disgusted me. Sometimes I look fondly to China. Over there, the guy incompetently or corruptly running the precinct such that no one could vote would undoubtedly be shot, even if higher ups had told him to operate it that way, if they have voting. {grin}
Ignatius R - were those actual “shenanigans” or just mechanical “shenanigans”?
How are we to keep our shenanigans straight, for heaven’s sake?
LFinTN…alleged shenanigans. I thought I covered that with “claimed” but I should have been more explicit.
LFinTN…or maybe you were suggesting that it happened but there was legitimate mechanical reason…don’t know….but if it was “legit,” I am still flabbergasted at the incompetence. How many days a year does the elections bureaucracy have to do anything? Can’t get their pencils sharpened for twice-a-year shows. Sheez.
Ignatius - Nah, I just didn’t read your post well enough. My bad.
I haven’t heard anything about it in the last couple hours, so I’m guessing the lawyers haven’t had to run to fed court.
Ignatius Reilly @37 - “but if it was “legit,” I am still flabbergasted at the incompetence.”
I do agree with you about that. You’d think they’d have done a dry run or something, or they would have had techs on hand or “experts” at every polling site.
With this being such an important primary battle, they should have made absolutely sure these machines would perform, or at least, had a “plan B” of paper ballots with “Mark X for Your Candidate of Choice”.
Sometimes low-tech can get the job done.
I continue to enjoy the show as the Democrats tear themselves apart any way you look at it as far as the choice for POTUS goes in November we are screwed! At least I can kick back nuke up some popcorn grab a beverage of choice and enjoy the show until the grand finale in Denver in August. It will also be interesting to see what type of performance art the “Recreate 68” crowd will bring.
55-45 so far. I wonder how that will hold. That sort of margin makes me wonder if those numbers about Obama leading among Republicans-turned-Democrat are correct. The Operation Chaos movement is hostile to exit-pollsters after all…
Two observations, first there were very few of the yard signs, posters etc. in my area for either candidate. Indicating Neshannock is still a conservative area. Of the those few most were for Obama. No McCain signs anywhere.
Second, our jr. senator, the lazy, good for nothing Bob Casey has thrown in with Obama. If by some outside chance Hillary takes (and I mean steals) the nomination, all those former Klinton allies who switched sides are going to be in deep doo doo. This is good news in that Casey’s seat will most likely be returned to a conservative.
#27 Keystone
Thank you
Fred Barnes on Fox finds an opportunity in the dramatic Dem night in PA to point out the foolishness of anti-amnesty GOPers who thought that the immigration issue was the most important. Really, Fred, you have already fallen off my planet so you have nowhere lower to go.
What the heck is Brit Hume talking about with this racism thing? Sure, a small percentage will not vote for a black. But would any of those people vote for a leftist like Obama whatever color he was? What a waste of hot air…
It looks like Nora Ephron has an answer to her question as to who democrats hate more, blacks or women. I think the dems need to work on thier issue with minorities.
Robert Byrd, maybe?
Okay….you got me there. There is one. LOL
Is Operation Chaos going to work in PA, we will see.
Does PA have open primaries?
1st rule of Operation Chaos, there is no Operation Chaos!
I enjoy watching this trainwreck as much as the next guy… but, I live in Denver. I’ll tell you, it’s going to be ugly. Oh well, at least I don’t have to go downtown while that mess is going on.
Jim C
The Bride of Clintonstein is alive! It’s alive! Alive!
Go HRC! Keep runn’n girl. The longer you run, the more devastated the Dem’s will be come November! Go for it and destroy your party! Divide and lose!
Hard to know if Pat Caddell knows his stuff or not.
66% of vote in and the margin is still only 8 points.
Maybe this time it will be some good Pennsylvania Rye Whiskey
Hilarious. The whole Dem nomination process has been so ridiculous it seems like it has been perfectly set up in order for them to lose. Michigan, Florida, Hilldabeast, Tuzla, Rev. Crazy, Bittergate… the list goes on. It seems as if God is on our side. (Haha - Here come the attacks from the religious right haters)
Def. a preview of November - Obama goin’ down in flames!
Wow, she just played the race and gender card again…
As a typical white guy, born in Pottsville, Pa. I am listening to Hillary right now as she continues her BS about so many things. She will rebuild our strained military? Yeah, right. I guess I must be more racist than misogynist because I don’t want Boo Hoo Obama having any chance of being the POTUS. And imagine the damage he can wreak with a pliable liberal Congress? I could live with a disastrous Hillary Presidency because it looks to me that we’re headed for some rough times regardless of who is in White House. And no, I don’t look forward to that duo of Hillary and Bill in the news daily. What is it with GOP? Now Gingrich is joining hands with Pelosi to advance the AGW garbage? Oh, now with temps falling, it’s “climate change”.
Will be interesting to see VP choices though.
Wow, I think she already hit the bottle, and hard. I hope she doesn’t start flailing her arms about and hitting cops…
Might I suggest a no-holds-barred cage match with Howard Dean as referee? They can each choose a super-delegate as their “manager.” No submission holds. First one out wins.
On second thought, that may unfairly favor the white southerner…since we all know only white God-loving gun-toters rely on wrestling when times get tough.
It’s getting close to 11pm in Pennsylvania, I wonder if we’re going to hear about SNIPERS any time soon?
RE;BeeGees….
Does anyone else miss tight pants on grown men?
I may be mistaken but it looked like Lt. Gov. Catherine Baker Knoll just bowled her way on the stage after Hillary’s speech. Looked like a Happy Gilmore moment.
Stick a fork in him, he’s done.
Worm’s eye view: in an Allentown Pa ward with about 85% Democratic edge (only 2 dozen Republicans bothered to vote), high Hispanic voting turnout (relative to 15% total turnout) Obama was beat two to one.
It was not close. And if he can’t carry our little down at its heels ward, he can’t carry anything except Hillary’s train.
Looks like that Crown Royal she tossed down may become known as “the shot heard round the world”.
If she wins by a big enough margin, she won’t catch Obama in the delegate count, but she can pass him in the overall popular vote count. Gives her a pretty good argument for attracting those super delegates-she won all of the biggest states, she is ahead in total votes, and the general election will not benefit from the caucaus insanity.
I hear Obama is getting some advice from Jeremiah Wright. Everybody needs advice from a friend sometimes.
FOX is not calibrating their commentary to match the evolving facts.
As the percent of the vote in has climbed from 66 to 75 over the last few minutes, the margin has been steady — 8 points in Hilary’s favor.
IMO, a 7% win for Hillary was the momentum break even point. At 8 points, she is barely exceeds expectations. She has to get to a 10 point spread for this to a big momentum victory for her. Maybe the votes are there, as Caddell says, but I don’t see them on the screen.
Looks like Hillary is going to beat Obama by a safe margin. I guess Pennsylvanians don’t know the price of Arugula either. =)
Huffpos are melting down
headline Hillary Clinton Survives another day..stop the drama vote Obama.
The Kosacks are not any happier who knows how move on feels they endorsed him. Hillary isn’t going to stop.

Wait, Michelle, I can’t follow all these updates. Different parts are marked with numbers divided by a colon…are those progressively later times? Is this some sort of chronological addition to the post?
And listen, you keep saying “Eastern”. Eastern airlines went out of business a long time ago and I just don’t see how that’s relevant. There seems to be some sequential logic here, but for the life of me I can’t quite crack it.
Like Carl Rove? Larry the Cable guy? Careful what you wish for!
Grown men don’t wear tight pants.
The Brothers Gibb were neutered as young singers by their over zealous stage mom. Andy Gibb escaped the scissors, but died of laughter when he heard his….errrr…..”brothers” yodeling three octaves higher than physically possible.
I swear this to be true on Jesus Obama’s bible.
LOL. OK, meeebe not!!!! LMAO
Imus asked this morning what do we want to happen Mike Barnicle replied well we want Hillary to win by at least 8% points that will make the Democrat race drag on Imus alright Hillary Clinton and 8 because we want CHAOS. Later James Carville came on and Imus asked what does she need Carville seconded Barnicle she needs 8. Alrighty then, The Democrats can’t close the deal. CHAOS!
If this was Bush/Kerry ‘04, the press would still be calling it for Kerry and angry that the polling was wrong. Surprised they hung on to “too close” for so long.
The commonwealth of Pennsylvania has another thing in common: Common stupidity for voting for the Hildabeast.
You can’t make this stuff up. Peggy Noonan knows democrat fashion trends
http://imustimes.wordpress.com/2008/04/21/imus-if-id-have-said-that/
B. Hussain Obamanation is conceeding now, congratulating Billary on her win.
Zorro, Lt Gov. Catherine Baker Rodham Knoll is already passed out down at the Best Western. I’m sure she’ll gather up the empty bottles and cans and donate the deposit money to a noble food shelter.
This Democrat race is getting better by the minute. Rodham is still a very very “heavy” long shot, but she is closer and being so, the eye gouging will only get better. Better?
Jesus just told his Evansville audience about 2 WARS???
So we have 17,000 murders in the U.S.A each year, almost all of them in BLUE CITIES. We have over 8000 black on black murders each year in America’s collective “hood”. We’ve had 40,000 black on black murders since we liberated Iraq. FORTY THOUSAND BLACK ON BLACK MURDERS in the same time we’ve lost 4,000 soldiers at war against Islamofascism and NOT A MENTION of it.
Feeeeeeeeeeebz!!!!! Glad you’re back.
My country is in terrible peril, the economy is shaky, our candidates are weak. Our enemies are everywhere and treason and cowards run rampant.
But
HILLARY…FIRST BLOOD BOSNIA EDITION
makes it all worth while. Commentor franksalterego, we of the warped sense of humor salute you.
hhhhhiiiiiiiiiiiiiii!!!!
As someone unalterably opposed to McCain, I really have no dog in this fight. But those of you taking joy in the signs of life in HRC are severely misguided, IMO, even if the guidance is coming from Rush.
Obama is an unelectable, leftwing Democrat. And he could not govern if he were elected. HRC is half (perhaps the most dangerous half) of the most potent liberal political force seen in this country since FDR. Anybody that does not want her political career dead and buried ASAP is playing with dynamite, IMO.
Bill Ayers and Bernardine Dohrn must be so depressed tonight. Maybe they’ll blow themselves up.
Michelle m’dear….you are most definitely in your element tonight.
A most entertaining post.
The woman has the emotional capabilities of a wet mop.
Absolutely!!!! lol
# 83 I disagree
I too was not happy with McCain at the top of our ticket. I think his pushing of McCain Feingold, Amnesty (yes, that’s what it is) for illegals, and his global warming (Al Gore hoax) is frightening. But an Obama presidency is far, far worse. It is good and proper that we do what we can to ensure a bloody convention in Denver. Has anyone talked to an Obama supporter? It’s like trying to tell a sixteen year-old girl the guy she thinks she loves is a bum. The evidence doesn’t matter. It is purely emotional.
dejack…I understand what you are saying. But Obama is a political amateur with huge baggage. A president must have support in congress. Those critters mostly do not want to be part of a socialist revolution that would put this country into depression. Obama would face huge resistance.
HRC may be the devil but she is a skilled politician who knows when to give some ground to the middle. She could govern with good support from a Democrat congress. She has the real political capacity to carry this country far to the left while Obama does not. The fact that Obama’s supporters are crazy leftists is not important. To govern you have to build support with the center on board. Hillary is the scary one.
The reason to vote for McCain is his pick of Treasury Secretary (Phil Gramm). It will be a windfall tax break from Heaven.
All the rest of the crap going down on the North American Union (USA_MEX_CANADA) has been already set up and decided.
Are you going to be on the losing end or the winning end? The Treasury cabinet position is the hidden power play in these next two terms.
Hillary and ORUMPUS are clueless. Suck it up and vote Republican. The party is dead but the Nation still has half a gasp left…… it’s all in the gold play. Stay tuned.
Hillary can’t win the Gen Election.
I agree with you I. R. Incidently, I am a huge fan of Confederacy of Dunces. My point is that the Dems have so neatly screwed themselves that an envigorated Hillary can only help us. Mathmatically there is no way The Queen can retake the lead. Any hijinks in Denver will literally set it on fire. Unbelievably this is turning in to an easy road to success for McCain. Something I thought impossible a few months back. It is like two kamikazees flying there planes in to each other and missing the boat.
Theirplanes. Damn posesives.
Possessives Damn English.
Hillary seems to have the old Norse spirit - if you are going to die, die surrounded by a pile of dead foes, holding your entrails in with one hand and still hacking away with your other.
Fortunately, she’s fighting her own kind, not mine.
dejack…I have certainly enjoyed watching these candidates destroying each other. But I think the conventional wisdom that there is no route for her to the nomination is badly flawed.
Here it is: She wins the popular vote, which now seems very plausible. Then she says, “super delegates…aren’t they delegates, too? I am the popular choice of the people. Obama wants to use the rules that keep this from being a direct election by Democratic voters. But he does not want to follow the rules that give votes to our party’s leaders. Let’s just follow all the rules. Aren’t the SDs free to follow the popular vote if that’s the way they see it? And, by the way, SDs, I have a ton of evidence here showing me more electable against McCain. I am the tough cookie, the known quantity, the comeback gal.”
Obama’s supporters — especially his black supporters — will be real disappointed. But no honest person could claim she was stealing the election from him by convincing the SDs to support her if she has more popular votes. She can certainly win this thing.
(I am spending to much time on these threads and not enough with my sweetie, Myrna Minkoff, that vixen!)
Hey Grey. That image is truly unsettling. Thanks for the upcoming nightmare - I won’t need to blame Arby’s.
I. R. I respect your wisdom but believe it to be flawed. I think you underestimate the emotion on the left. Most people do not have a clue that Super Delegates were created for precisely this reason. After McGovern was a$$ raped by Nixon in ‘72 they wanted to have a way to undo the will of the people. Now they are hosed. They did not imagine it would come to a white woman and black man. If HRH gets the nod when it appears the Messiah is ahead…..well it will be Rich White People stealing th election. Denver will explode and it will be 1968 all over again.
okay…we’ve given it a good airing. Now let’s watch the fun. Thanks!
It looks like Her Royal Highness by 10. Good enough to keep the carnage going.
Noobama got pwnt!
So far, CNN has Hillary slated to gain all of 12 delegates on Obama from this massive victory. Rinky-dink!
Just as long as she considers it enough to continue the bleeding.
You have to tell the origin of Roastbeef for you moniker.
your I meant of course
Grey Fox #94
I thought that was the old Celtic spirit, but if it’s Norse, so be it. What it had jolly well better be now is how we Conservatives go down in the battle to win back our country.
Ignatius and Dejack, it’s going to be interesting.
The President, whether popular competant or Rodham/Obama…..has powers that can HELP or F@#$-UP America as we know it. Judges. Defense Secretary etc.
Is there a rational human alive, that seriously believes that Obama is qualified for Asst Manager at Lowe’s?
If so, that “rational human” is retarded.
Rodham is a dirt bag. This broad would sell her own soul for power. She has no clue. Much like her narcissistic husband. But in Rodham’s defense, I’m fairly certain that she isn’t a RAPIST.
Dejack, you are soooooo correct.
The outcome of the Democrat race is VERY MUCH, STILL in the balance.
Wow. Denver is going to get ugly.
As much as I hate to say it… I’m really glad that Hillary won. She’s the lesser of the two evils, from what I can tell. However, the fact that I’m admitting this tells me that our nation is in a sadder state than ever. Who would have ever thought that I, or anyone else, would be cheering for a Clinton?
Perish the thought.
Rinky-dink and bleeding are good. Fox News reports a percentage of his, a percentage of her, voters will not vote for the other. Continue the bleeding.
Now I hope another open microphone incident sinks one or the other. One calls the other the N word or the B word, honkey, whatever. If the Rush Limbaugh Operation Chaos had any effect I do not know, but it sounds fun.
Maybe Denver will turn into Chicago 1968 and I can cheer the way I did when the police and National Guard whipped on the damn Hippies.
Continue the Bleeding!
Very good Brian Roastbeef
We have a weak candidate - unfortunately and our best hope is our aversaries go kamikazee. Check out the “Recreate ‘68″ website and you can see what we may, genuflect and pray, be in for. I think this may be another 2000 election whereby I assign devine intervention to save the country I love.
How’s this for interesting? Howard Fineman just said that Elizabeth Edwards is going to campaign for Hillary in North Carolina.
Divine…..damn spelling…
Howard Dean must be pulling his hair out lol
Signs and wonders
http://recreate68.org/
Thanks dejack.
Anything we Bitter, Church Going, Gun Totin Right Wing Radical Knuckle Dragging Neanderthals can do to help?
Yes, let’s genuflect and pray.
99% of the vote in-Hillary 55%
O-WAAAHHHHHHHH-ma - 45%
ArizonaNeanderthal.
Any predictions for Denver? I am hoping for Tom Hayden, head-busting, action but I don’t know if I am fantasizing or not.
#103, dejack:
It refers to Brian Vickers from an Arby’s commercial a couple of years back. He had it so bad, that he couldn’t remember his own name and introduced himself as “Brian Roastbeef.”
#109 ArizonaNeanderthal: Thanks for the comment. I’m certainly with you there.
Is Obama crazy? He gave his concession speech in another state? What a doofus! You want a waffle with that Barry?
Mookie!! Howard Fineman told you that Elizabeth Edwards was going to XYZ.
zzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzz.
You are hilarious. Elizabeth Edwards!!
This is so fun.
I don’t want either to get the nomination. Heck, I don’t want McCain to get the nomination. However, I did want Clinton to win Pennsylvania. This primary finally got me to decide whom I don’t like more. I definitely now do not like Obama more than I don’t like Clinton.
As much as I really, really, really, really, really do not want the Clintons back in the White House, I at least believe a President Hillary Clinton would not make the country the world’s b**ch. A President Barrack Obama I know would do so.
A President John McCain wouldn’t either.
Sigh, a President Fred Thompson and it would have been guaranteed.
So it goes on and on. I can’t wait until the conventions are over to end this farce. 2 inept candidates battling each other on a daily basis, is exhausting. Either way, the American public loses, come November.
What are you talking about?
I thought it was K-os
I guess this tip of the hat is the only tip the waitresses will receive from the Hildebeast.
Last time I heard that, a maniac was saying it and he lost the nod quite soon after.
This is really bad for Obama - he lost by 10 points.
Consider that Obama has, by most people’s accounts, locked up the nomination. People in the Democratic party have been applying pressure to consolidate around Obama. Obama outspent Hillary in Pennsylvania by a large margin.
And he still lost by 10 points.
We all know that this is more about folks being anti-Obama than pro-Hillary. The Wright and bitter scandals have fatally wounded his candidacy. If Hillary whoops Obama in Indiana, she might take the nomination.
Every time I see or listen to Hillary, I want to toss my arugula. BO will win NC and IN but she still won’t concede. As this drags on the Clinton nastiness is going to increase exponentially, and I think BO and others underestimate this.
