That’s Carter Wood’s hard-to-improve-on headline over an item on how two youths involved on the perpetrator side of a sensationally vicious attack onboard a Maryland bus are now suing over being barred from the bus……

Last year, a gang of middle-schoolers riding on a Baltimore city bus beat the holy crap out of a woman because she failed to show them adequate respect. Appalling, brutal crime by kids so young, and it’s been a continuing……

This is something I agree with.

Most black people are appalled by crimes like this, black on black crime, high pregnancy rates, and shattered homes. Jesse and Al talk about these issues and march about these issues. Rev. Al, in particular has always spoken about harmful lyrics in hiphop music and marched about it. Of course you don’t hear about it on this blog. Go checkout the Trinity Church websight, and you will see how they focus on the Black home, Black empowerment, and Black accountablility. Of course, people like you and Hannity call them racist when they focus on these Black issues.

#6- I know your are enjoying your Wright derangement syndrome, but if you did any research on his teachings, and on Black liberation theology itself, as opposed to watching select, offensive, soundbites, you would know that committing violent crimes, and otherwise embarrassing or harming, people in your community is contrary to black empowerment and accountability. Nothing in Wright’s teaching, or Black Liberation Theology in general would show support for reckless violence or self-destructive behavior by black people.

Black people generally are appalled by black crime, as we are offended by crime in general. Too suggest otherwise, is ludicrous and analagous to a suggestion that white people foster and support violence, and immorality because white boys have shot up schools at a higher rate, and white teachers have a tendency to bang their students. White people are outraged by this behavior by their own…generally, and black people are generally outraged about the problems in our communities. Don’t hold me personally accountable for my extremists, and I won’t hold you good white folks accountable for your extremists.

“She could have led the other students to stay on the bus — she was the vice president of the student government,” Circuit Judge David Young said. “She chose to lead the troops in the other direction. There are many types of leaders. There are good leaders, and there are those leaders who choose to use their abilities to do wrong. In my heart, based on my belief and my experience, the next person who argues with her may be a homicide victim.”

I thought someone mentioned earlier that maybe Sarah could recoup the money that these criminals may receive by suing them civilly? Too bad it has to be that way, but it may turn out to be poetic justice for Sarah after all, esp. if the perps wouldn’t otherwise have assets to pay a civil judgment. Wouldn’t it be great if whatever “lottery winnings” they may get from their frivolous and outrageous suit against the MTA would have to be immediately turned over to the true victim in this crime.
