I’m listening to Alan Colmes trying to equate Jerry Falwell and Pat Robertson with Wright. It’s pathetic.

I agree. There is no equivalence. Falwell and Robinson are much, much worse.

My beef with Wright is his AIDS rhetoric.

My beefs (beeves?) with Robertson and Falwell are legion. Especially Falwell. His lies about Bill Clinton, his unacceptable post 9/11 rhetoric, his desire to destroy the Constitution for his own ends, and his eagerness to associate himself with a cult leader who claims to be the Son of God. Yet every GOP politician with national aspirations lined up to him for his blessing. It was sad and pathetic.

See you are getting lost on tense. You used the past tense while Wright Rev. used the future. No,no,no God damn America is calling for a future damning for past sins.

That is where I part with Wright Rev and moonbats like you who can’t even spell G-D correctly. When I perceive a wrong or injustice I ask God to bless not damn.

If Jeremiah Wright were tending to God’s business as he claims, he wouldn’t have time to spew the rhetoric he has so eloquently ranted about in his sermons.

Our incessant attacks on Wright from the Right are misguided and a waste. He’s a man of God – he’s not the enemy.

He’s retiring in Tinley Park, a suburb of Chicago, IL. As a retirement gift, Wright’s Trinity United Church of Christ is building him a million-dollar home abutting Odyssey Country Club and Golf Course. Wright’s new home has 10,340 square feet of space, about four times the size of a typical suburban house. It includes four bedrooms, an elevator, an exercise room, and a four-car garage.
