Disgusting demagogue Sharpton leads “Kill the Police” rally: When will media and politicos disavow this agent of hate?
Shame on every enabler who has aided and abetted Al Sharpton’s campaign to mainstream, enrich, and advance himself as a “civil rights leader” for decades despite his lying, poisonous, police-hating, crime-coddling, race-hustling agenda.
Shame on the Democrat Party, which has embraced him and honored him with the stage at the Democrat National Convention, and every Democrat presidential candidate who has flocked to kiss his ring.
Shame on President Bush, who welcomed him at the White House in December.
Shame on every cable TV station and talk show host that has given this cretin oxygen and unlimited airtime.
Shame on Pat Robertson and Al Gore for teaming up with him to peddle global warming crap and boost his bogus image as a benign celebrity do-gooder.
Sharpton took some time off schmoozing and dining with all of his assorted shameless friends this weekend to lead a “Kill the Police” rally and threatened to shut down NYC over the acquittal of New York City police officers–including two black officers–in the Sean Bell case. Sharpton’s thugs marched through Harlem with KKK hoods labeled “NYPD.” AP has the news of Sharpton’s demagoguery in full flower:
Hundreds of angry people marched through Harlem on Saturday after the Rev. Al Sharpton promised to “close this city down” to protest the acquittals of three police detectives in the 50-shot barrage that killed a groom on his wedding day and wounded two friends.
“We strategically know how to stop the city so people stand still and realize that you do not have the right to shoot down unarmed, innocent civilians,” Sharpton told an overflow crowd of several hundred people at his National Action Network office in the historically black Manhattan neighborhood. “This city is going to deal with the blood of Sean Bell.”
Sharpton was joined by the family of 23-year-old Sean Bell — a black man — and a friend of Bell who was wounded in the 2006 shooting outside a Queens strip club. Two of the three officers charged were also black.
The rally at Sharpton’s office was followed by a 20-block march down Malcolm X Boulevard and then across 125th Street, Harlem’s main business thoroughfare, where some bystanders yelled out “Kill the police!”
Watch how quickly Sharpton’s apologists argue that he can’t control what a few “bystanders” say. Watch how quickly they argue that Sharpton does not espouse violence.

How conveniently they forget. This is the original racist Reverend of Hatred’s bread and butter:
1987: Sharpton spreads the incendiary Tawana Brawley hoax, insisting heatedly that a 15-year-old black girl was abducted, raped, and smeared with feces by a group of white men. He singles out Steve Pagones, a young prosecutor. Pagones is wholly innocent — the crime never occurred — but Sharpton taunts him: “If we’re lying, sue us, so we can . . . prove you did it.” Pagones does sue, and eventually wins a $345,000 verdict for defamation. To this day, Sharpton refuses to recant his unspeakable slander or to apologize for his role in the odious affair.
1991: A Hasidic Jewish driver in Brooklyn’s Crown Heights section accidentally kills Gavin Cato, a 7-year-old black child, and antisemitic riots erupt. Sharpton races to pour gasoline on the fire. At Gavin’s funeral he rails against the “diamond merchants” — code for Jews — with “the blood of innocent babies” on their hands. He mobilizes hundreds of demonstrators to march through the Jewish neighborhood, chanting, “No justice, no peace.” A rabbinical student, Yankel Rosenbaum, is surrounded by a mob shouting “Kill the Jews!” and stabbed to death.
1995: When the United House of Prayer, a large black landlord in Harlem, raises the rent on Freddy’s Fashion Mart, Freddy’s white Jewish owner is forced to raise the rent on his subtenant, a black-owned music store. A landlord-tenant dispute ensues; Sharpton uses it to incite racial hatred. “We will not stand by,” he warns malignantly, “and allow them to move this brother so that some white interloper can expand his business.” Sharpton’s National Action Network sets up picket lines; customers going into Freddy’s are spat on and cursed as “traitors” and “Uncle Toms.” Some protesters shout, “Burn down the Jew store!” and simulate striking a match. “We’re going to see that this cracker suffers,” says Sharpton’s colleague Morris Powell. On Dec. 8, one of the protesters bursts into Freddy’s, shoots four employees point-blank, then sets the store on fire. Seven employees die in the inferno.
If Sharpton were a white skinhead, he would be a political leper, spurned everywhere but the fringe. But far from being spurned, he is shown much deference. Democrats embrace him. Politicians court him. And journalists report on his comings and goings while politely sidestepping his career as a hatemongering racial hustler.
Jeff Jacoby wrote that in 2003. Last December, when the Washington Post wrote another in an endless series of gushing profiles whitewashing Al Sharpton’s lies and crimes, I wrote:
He derives his role in large part because of the MSM’s continued need for minority charlatans to provide demagogic soundbites and deliver good ratings for the cable clown shows…Some readers wonder why I continue to write about the Sharpton-MSM lovefest. Why? Because the enablers deserve to be held responsible and shamed publicly until they stop.

Some years ago there was an incident on Staten Island, N.Y. in which a cop accidentally killed a black drug suspect when he put him in a choke hold. The cop was black. Sharpton came into the situation and quickly dropped it like a hot potato when he realized he could not turn it into a racial incident. There was another incident on S.I. in which a black man was attacked by some white thugs on the street. A group of white guys came out of a pizzaria and rescued the black man from further assault. Again, Sharpton came to S.I. and dropped the case since he could not exploit it due to the fact that white people rescued the black victim. He is a hustler and racial arsonist. The DemonRats are immoral for accepting this man as a member of their party.

Before long I was looking forward to the next brittney, or paris hilton update. Then slowly I realized I had developed an addiction. I watched knowing the messengers of FOX like Sharpton were harming my family and my country. I even found myself sympathizing with Geraldo Rivera. To make my addiction worse, I was told FOX was conservative, so they must be telling me what I want to hear. I thought things could not be worse for me, until Chris Wallace told me and Fox and Friends that he is upset with their constant Rev Wright coverage, and it was unfair.

He knew beforehand that she lied, he was taken to court and was judged to be at fault and pay for his lies. To say that “I can’t control what some bystanders might do” is the same type of defense the KKK has used in the past. They were found to be a contributing force and judged to be liable for acts taken by their followers. Al Sharpton should be held to the same standards. In my opinion, he is a racist.

No, just being black, or blue, or purple, or white, or yellow is not a reason to take drastic action in every occasion. What you should recognize is that a certain group of people seem to behave the same way. They do not follow laws, do not respect authority, rape, murder and kill each other and innocent people.
There was a trial. The three officers were judged to be innocent, just like OJ for example. No one should incite to riot. That person should be arrested and would be if they were not a member of the “preferred minority”. This must stop.

I suppose they will now look to trying the cops for violating his “civil rights”. Or, in other words, try them all over again, and hope, this time, for a conviction. We used to have a “double jeopardy” rule, but that has been dumped with a “civil rights” law. If they can’t get a conviction on that one, then lawsuits will be filed, so the lawyers make their millions and just about everyone ever involved, even remotely, with the deceased gets the rest. Whatever happens, money will quiet all. Sharpton will move on to a new case.

I live out here near the Rotten Apple, and on occasion must venture into Long Beach and Los Angeles. Lemme tell ya somethin’: there is a culture that almost appears designed to drive a wedge between law enforcement and the black community en masse. I see the news everyday, and frequently events occur which could be easily avoided if young black men weren’t taught to look upon police as their enemy. AND THEY ARE! It isn’t the other way around, unless you’re living on another planet.

1.) Police are the good guys.

1.) The decision of the court system should be respected.
2.) Violence, extortion, and anarchy are not rights of citizenship.
No one commenting here is as much of an expert on this case as the judge at the trial, and, bottom line, he acquitted the officers based on the law and the facts.

I do not now nor have I ever supported Sharpton, but nobody should be called a “piece of garbage.” As I understand it, the guy who was shot 50 times was an innocent bystander. If my brother was shot 50 times by over zealous police officers later to be cleared, I would be up in arms too. This is one of the few times I totally disagree with MM and most of the posters on here.
Every time I see Sharpton, Jackson, or Wright on TV, I have to take a shower.
I disagree with the whole premise of this statement. That even if it were all white cops involved it automatically puts “racism” on the table and secondly and most importantly that if “racism” was involved at all that it is only coming form one direction. In the same vein that the term “reversed racism” is used. A totally Marxist concept.

I was taught that most social issues settle themselves as a pendulum does. It swings to each extreme but eventually, given enough time, will settle to center. Sharpton and their ilk will eventually die (hence the disclaimer), and perhaps when the agitators have passed into dust we can live together peacefully. So next time you see Al Shaprton, buy him a big, sloppy cheeseburger.

I was chatting with a Vietnam Vet today and he’s says there’s got to be a flaw in the way they’re trained to use a weapon. The only time you shoot like that in the army is for cover fire when in retreat, advancing and when the enemy is doing a bonzai charge.

I honor the service of your family. I wonder if my wife might have worked on him. She’s a surgeon, O-4, (Major). I have been blessed in that the one time my wife was wounded she was on a remote in Korea, but it was accidental during a training exercise, and wasn’t very serious. It was just prior to her midtour, so they added the conleave to her midtour leave — we got to spend a good long time in each other’s company. Something rare now adays.

Sharpton represents everything that is wrong with America and to give him a platform for his opobrium is unconscionable.
Hannity, your fired from my TV set. Just like Obama is judged by you (and me) for his associations, you aren’t any better if you are friends with Sharpton. The republicans lost their guts and you are leading the casterated republiwankers as worm in chief.
And don’t bother calling me a racist Sharpton defenders. He is the one who spit on the teaching of Dr. King, not me, I’ve tried to practice Kings preaching all my life.
