Disgusting demagogue Sharpton leads “Kill the Police” rally: When will media and politicos disavow this agent of hate?
Shame on every enabler who has aided and abetted Al Sharpton’s campaign to mainstream, enrich, and advance himself as a “civil rights leader” for decades despite his lying, poisonous, police-hating, crime-coddling, race-hustling agenda.
Shame on the Democrat Party, which has embraced him and honored him with the stage at the Democrat National Convention, and every Democrat presidential candidate who has flocked to kiss his ring.
Shame on President Bush, who welcomed him at the White House in December.
Shame on every cable TV station and talk show host that has given this cretin oxygen and unlimited airtime.
Shame on Pat Robertson and Al Gore for teaming up with him to peddle global warming crap and boost his bogus image as a benign celebrity do-gooder.
Sharpton took some time off schmoozing and dining with all of his assorted shameless friends this weekend to lead a “Kill the Police” rally and threatened to shut down NYC over the acquittal of New York City police officers–including two black officers–in the Sean Bell case. Sharpton’s thugs marched through Harlem with KKK hoods labeled “NYPD.” AP has the news of Sharpton’s demagoguery in full flower:
Hundreds of angry people marched through Harlem on Saturday after the Rev. Al Sharpton promised to “close this city down” to protest the acquittals of three police detectives in the 50-shot barrage that killed a groom on his wedding day and wounded two friends.
“We strategically know how to stop the city so people stand still and realize that you do not have the right to shoot down unarmed, innocent civilians,” Sharpton told an overflow crowd of several hundred people at his National Action Network office in the historically black Manhattan neighborhood. “This city is going to deal with the blood of Sean Bell.”
Sharpton was joined by the family of 23-year-old Sean Bell — a black man — and a friend of Bell who was wounded in the 2006 shooting outside a Queens strip club. Two of the three officers charged were also black.
The rally at Sharpton’s office was followed by a 20-block march down Malcolm X Boulevard and then across 125th Street, Harlem’s main business thoroughfare, where some bystanders yelled out “Kill the police!”
Watch how quickly Sharpton’s apologists argue that he can’t control what a few “bystanders” say. Watch how quickly they argue that Sharpton does not espouse violence.

How conveniently they forget. This is the original racist Reverend of Hatred’s bread and butter:
1987: Sharpton spreads the incendiary Tawana Brawley hoax, insisting heatedly that a 15-year-old black girl was abducted, raped, and smeared with feces by a group of white men. He singles out Steve Pagones, a young prosecutor. Pagones is wholly innocent — the crime never occurred — but Sharpton taunts him: “If we’re lying, sue us, so we can . . . prove you did it.” Pagones does sue, and eventually wins a $345,000 verdict for defamation. To this day, Sharpton refuses to recant his unspeakable slander or to apologize for his role in the odious affair.
1991: A Hasidic Jewish driver in Brooklyn’s Crown Heights section accidentally kills Gavin Cato, a 7-year-old black child, and antisemitic riots erupt. Sharpton races to pour gasoline on the fire. At Gavin’s funeral he rails against the “diamond merchants” — code for Jews — with “the blood of innocent babies” on their hands. He mobilizes hundreds of demonstrators to march through the Jewish neighborhood, chanting, “No justice, no peace.” A rabbinical student, Yankel Rosenbaum, is surrounded by a mob shouting “Kill the Jews!” and stabbed to death.
1995: When the United House of Prayer, a large black landlord in Harlem, raises the rent on Freddy’s Fashion Mart, Freddy’s white Jewish owner is forced to raise the rent on his subtenant, a black-owned music store. A landlord-tenant dispute ensues; Sharpton uses it to incite racial hatred. “We will not stand by,” he warns malignantly, “and allow them to move this brother so that some white interloper can expand his business.” Sharpton’s National Action Network sets up picket lines; customers going into Freddy’s are spat on and cursed as “traitors” and “Uncle Toms.” Some protesters shout, “Burn down the Jew store!” and simulate striking a match. “We’re going to see that this cracker suffers,” says Sharpton’s colleague Morris Powell. On Dec. 8, one of the protesters bursts into Freddy’s, shoots four employees point-blank, then sets the store on fire. Seven employees die in the inferno.
If Sharpton were a white skinhead, he would be a political leper, spurned everywhere but the fringe. But far from being spurned, he is shown much deference. Democrats embrace him. Politicians court him. And journalists report on his comings and goings while politely sidestepping his career as a hatemongering racial hustler.
Jeff Jacoby wrote that in 2003. Last December, when the Washington Post wrote another in an endless series of gushing profiles whitewashing Al Sharpton’s lies and crimes, I wrote:

I’ve often wondered where Al Sharpton, having been involved in so many scams that did great harm to people, both to reputations and including bodily injury, gets all this power.

When the price for the Lefty’s to prop him up becomes too high. They’ll drop him, which will cause the MSM to drop him, which will cause their wholly-owned subsidiery, the Dem party to drop him.
The price could become too expensive in two ways:
1) whites cold grow a pair & refuse to be cowed, (unlikely)
or 2) blacks could decide to leave the plantation & man-up. (even more unlikely)
The cloying sweetness of spiritual slavery is perhaps too hard to leave – w/o something none of us can provide.

Why do I have the feeling that the only outcome that could have pleased Al Sharpton would have been one where only the non-black officer was found guilty?
If the two black officers had been convicted, Al would still be out protesting the Justice System’s unequal treatment of black people. He gets his protest and his publicity either way.
At what point do we stop the gravy train for Al, Jessie, Jeremiah, et al? His actions are just going to cause more people to lose there lives. When will the majority of Black America wake up to these phonies? Notice there is not a racism issue with this case, because the NYPD supervisor on site was also black.
While what happenend was trajic nothing is going to bring back Mr. Bell who was killed, so do we kill some more people to make up for it? Well Al, will that make you happy? Is this going to be another ransom demand to enrich your already overflowing bank accounts? A few more $2000 suits?
Some advice Al, why don’t you start preaching to the gang bangers, gangstas, and the stop snitching promoters in the hood about responsibility, good behavior, being a productive member of society, and stop promoting and glorifying criminal activity. Then the police may not be so on edge when they are working the hood. But Al won’t do this because his race baiting gravy train will come to an end.
I know the police are not perfect but these people are on guard with all the idiots out there wanting to kill them. These unfortunate events happen to people of all races. Yet, not all races will threaten to hold a city hostage over an event where there are no winners.
Whenever I see Al Sharpton come on TV, I put it on mute and go do something else until the next segment.

Tawana Brawley claimed she had been repeatedly raped by a group of white men but:
1. She could provide no names or descriptions of her assailants.
2. She later told others that there had been no rape, only other kinds of sexual abuse.
3. Forensic tests found no evidence that a sexual assault of any kind had occurred.
4. There was no evidence of exposure to elements, which would be expected in a victim held for several days in the woods at a time when the temperature dropped below freezing at night.
5. On the morning after the alleged abduction, she was seen entering the empty apartment at the Pavillion Apartments where she had once lived.
6. Other witnesses claimed to have seen her at parties in a nearby town during the period when she was said to be missing.
7. She had no bruises, contusions, scratches or other injuries except for a small bruise behind the left ear, which was determined to be several days old.
8. One witness claimed to have seen her climb into the garbage bag in which she was found.
9. Her mother, Glenda Brawley, was spotted at the apartment complex shortly before Brawley was seen getting into the garbage bag.
10. The mother waited until that same afternoon to report Brawley as missing to the police.
11. The investigation turned up evidence that indicated damage done to Brawley’s clothing had occurred in the apartment.
12. According to the grand jury report, all of “the items and instrumentalities necessary to create the condition in which Brawley appeared on Saturday, November 28, were present inside of or in the immediate vicinity of Apartment 19A.”
13. The feces had come from a neighbor’s dog.
And this was THE “civil rights” case that put Al Sharpton on the map.
I have never seen America is such a state of racism as I see it now. After the 60’s, I feel there was more unity than I feel there is now. Look at the music alone, in the 60’s blacks and white both enjoyed the same music. Things have gotten worse.
Bring on the Obamas, their “Reverend”, other hateful “Reverends” that I never knew existed, legitimize Sharpton and letting everyone like Whoopi Goldberg and friends make racial comments is bringing tension to a boiling point. I am frightened to be honest. This all has opened my eyes. And I don’t like what I hear or see.
I did something about Al today.
I was listening to the news on the radio while driving. As soon as they mentioned his name in preparation for the sound bite, I switched channels. I do it every time he’s about to appear on the media. Now – if this could be multiplied by a few million….. if the broadcasters knew that the mere mention of his name caused a drop in audience….
It’s that easy.
If American society were a human body, people like Sharpton would be a lymphoma.

I watch a lot of FOX news. when Geraldo or “Rev” al come on I switch to msnbc. I really dislike that channel, but the powers that be watch ratings. If everyone in the country switched at the same time Rupert Murdock would see FOX spike down and msnbc spike up. MAYBE the hate mongers would be taken off the air.

My favorite Sharpton moment was in a TV show where a kid was doing great in a video game. All of a sudden, this large gold chain wearing figure enters the video screen and blocks the path while spouting “blah, blah, blah“. The kid can’t get past him and yells “damn it, it’s Al Sharpton”. In frustration, he quits playing.
I believe in a firefight with multiple people shooting it is hard to know if your being shot at or just the police were shooting. 50 shots from a group I think can be explained, 50 shots from one guy one gun I believe may have been a problem. Reverend Al is scum and everyone knows it, but I’m betting alot of people make money from what he does. It is always about the money.

During one of his campaigns (pipe dreams?), he rented space in Brooklyn but didn’t pay the rent. When the landlord spoke up he was visited by a couple of large goons. He left the country and went into hiding in fear for his life.

In a vacuum, this sounds like a lot of shooting. And Sharpton would like to maintain that vacuum on information. But the facts of the incident tell another story.
While no weapon was found, a 4th man in the vehicle escaped, possibly taking the weapon or weapons with him. Perhaps more importantly, however, is the fact that Bell used his vehicle as a deadly weapon to try to run the officer down; not just once but TWICE. The use of a vehicle in such a manner is considered to be the employment of deadly force, and a response in kind by the police is more than justified.
There were multiple officers firing at the vehicle. The vehicle was not stopping (in point of fact, they tried a second time to run the officers down), so the officers kept firing to eliminate the threat. When shooting at a moving vehicle trying to run you over, chances are that a few of those shots are not going to incapacitate the driver.

Who cares how many rounds they fired? There’s no problem with firing 50 rounds. When you’re being shot at your highest priority is to kill the person that’s shooting at you. It once again features what a racist Sharpton is, an O’Reilly kinda guy, and how Subculture law and order operates (what the court decides matters not take it to the street). In the long run, Sharpton’s effort would be better spent on Jamile’s Law rather than conditioning the field to sue the city for 100 million of which he will get 10% (it’s about the money).
If the police were so unconcerned about the general public, why have so many agencies staunchly refused to issue, or permit to be carried by their officers, handguns that carry a punch? Some agencies allow the use of .45’s, but most still rely on .38’s (not .357 Mags), and 9mm autos.
The bigger boom, the better the deterrent. The bigger the caliber, the better the knock-down power. The better the knock-down power, fewer shots are needed to do the job.
I don’t know what types of handguns the undercover police officers were carrying that fateful night, but I can almost guarantee that none of them had a hand cannon.
Suppose one or two officers in this incident had used larger caliber pistols, fired less that 12 shots, and blew one or two BIG holes in to the miscreant, Bell. Does anyone think that we wouldn’t have the anti-law enforcement, pro-criminal motormouths (eg: Sharpton), harping about over-kill?
This is a no win issue for those of use who desire law and order. Personally, I don’t care how the bad guy is killed. Be it by a .22, or .50 cal., dead is dead, and now there is one less criminal on the street, and one less degenerate to pass on his genes to another generation of thug.

Federal Law Enforcement is mandated to carry hollow point ammo. The NYPD is not allowed to use hollw points. Years ago when they still used revolvers they were not allowed to carry speed loaders as it was claimed they would fire too many rounds with a faster reload. Then they went to the Glock and said ok now we have faster reloads, but if they use hollow points more will die. So no matter what happens they always have a story of how the cops are always wrong. Same S*** Differant incident.

I shoot and use a 9mm for personal protection, and hollowpoints do an excellant job in stopping the threat. Two shots to the cardiac triangle-if the target is still a perceived threat, follow up with one to the brain box.
Several years ago there was book written about jessie alled “shakedown”, I wonder if someone might consider doing a simuliar book on al.
In the end a female judge made a decision that the testimony of the police was more credible than the testimony of convicted felons.
