Wright’s security provided by Nation of Islam
Heard E.D. Hill mention this earlier today. It’s been confirmed: Jeremiah Wright’s bodyguards are Nation of Islam goons. Several Farrakhan acolytes were also in the audience for Wright’s vaudeville performance at the National Press Club, including one of our favorite race clowns, Malik Zulu Shabazz, and America’s favorite race clown politician, Marion Barry. Also in attendance: Wacknut Obama supporter Rev. Michael Pfleger:
Speaking before an audience that included Marion Barry, Cornel West, Malik Zulu Shabazz of the New Black Panther Party and Nation of Islam official Jamil Muhammad, Wright praised Louis Farrakhan, defended the view that Zionism is racism, accused the United States of terrorism, repeated his view that the government created the AIDS virus to cause the genocide of racial minorities, stood by other past remarks (”God damn America”) and held himself out as a spokesman for the black church in America.
In front of 30 television cameras, Wright’s audience cheered him on as the minister mocked the media and, at one point, did a little victory dance on the podium. It seemed as if Wright, jokingly offering himself as Obama’s vice president, was actually trying to doom Obama; a member of the head table, American Urban Radio’s April Ryan, confirmed that Wright’s security was provided by bodyguards from Farrakhan’s Nation of Islam.
Ed Morrissey has a clip of Wright’s paean to Farrakhan this morning, along with a quick litany of Calypso Louie’s anti-Semitic verses: “Wright has to be kidding if he thinks that people can’t find Farrakhan’s public speeches on Jews and see for themselves his rampant anti-Semitism. And Team Obama has to wonder when Wright will stop shooting his mouth off in public.”
I remind you of Wright’s answer to a question about Islam this morning:
9:53am Eastern. “Question: Jesus said I am the way, the truth, and the light. Is Islam the way to salvation?”
Wright: Jesus also said “other sheep I have, which are not of this fold.”
And they’re in Wright’s own fold, watching over him like a poor little lamb. Ain’t religious reconciliation grand?

Today surely marks the high water mark of Barrack Obama’s run for the presidency. Rev. Wright & his security force-on-loan has done more today to throw sand in the gears and stop a growing campaign cold.
What they are “selling” is racism, hate and bullcrap. Same as Wright.
If Obama wasn’t such a maroon, he would put a great deal of distance from those thugs. Having terrorists like Ayers and Dohrn as well as Wright and his goons as pals is not very flattering amongst Us clinging and bitter folks. They represent issues that get in the way in a general election, If he gets past the general mischief that is planned for the Convention.

I have been holding back about a comment on black history that I have not seen posted here, but Mr. Wright has made me decide its time.
At the end of the Civil War in the US there were 3775 free blacks in the south that owned over 12,400 slaves. Now, Mr. Wright who are the racists? Blacks became slaves because of the own “black/Afican brothers”. One of the first slave cases in Colonial Virginia was a black man who thought he was an indentured servant. He took his Sponsor to court was told he was indeed a slave. His now “owner” was black.
Slavery was never about racism, it was about economics and politics in the US and in Africa. Jim Crow was about racism and keeping a group of second class citizens who where mostly black. Other races were included by Jim Crow. Jim Crow has been overturned as the law of the land and replaced with Crow Jim (affirmative action).
So to all the “black leaders” are the decendents of the black slave owners racists? Are they going to have to pay reparations that you would like to have paid? Stop preaching hate and lies and start working to fix the problems that exist in the community where you claim to help and preach, while building your $1.6 million home.

I watched Wright this morning and came to two conclusions: 1) that he’s a megalomaniac, and 2) that he’s deliberately trying to destroy Obama’s campaign.
He was probably born a megalomaniac, but ruining Obama’s chances would have to be a deliberate decision imo. But why? Could it be because Obama has tried to disassociate himself from some of Wright’s outrageous ravings? Just musing . . . .
Anyhoo, this is getting curiouser and curiouser. My own party is offering me a candidate I refuse to vote for, and the other party is trying to convince one of it’s wannabes to fall on her sword in favor of a man who cozies up to the blame-America, blame-whitey crowd. I’m stocking up on popcorn.

The Book of Jeremiah:
A great evil is the fact that Obama had his children sit in that “church” and listen to Wright spew his paranoid lunacy. Imagine if McCain had his family attended a church with a KKK member minister. The MSM and the Democrats would demand that McCain immediately withdraw from the Presidential race. We should demand that of Obama. His association with Wright is intolerable.
Well, Rev. Wright attended Central High School in Philly,among the best highschools at the time. He graduated in 1959 and was well liked and respected. It had a 90% white student body.
Wright’s mom was the first black to teach at a junior high school, Germantown High School, and eventually she became vice-principal at Philidelphia high school. His dad was a Baptist preacher.
So, Wright attends Virginia Union University( a confederate state, by the way), but leaves after 2 years to join Marines. Leaves marines 2 years later to join Navy corps. Trains to become corpsman at the Great Lakes Naval Training Center, and graduates as Valedictorian, top of his class!!! So he then trains to become cardiopulmonary technician at Bethesda Naval Medical Center, there graduates 2nd in his class!!!
From there he leaves service,with 3 commendations from the White House, to attend Howard University wher he receives a bachelor and Masters in English. He also lists a Masters theology degree and a Phd from a seminary in Ohio.
I couldn’t find any war duty listed, just excellence at learning and advancing. He seemed to thrive in the “white” education system, no???
Wow, the hardship he has endured!! If only the oppressive government and the racist white man had only given him a chance….

Exactly on point. I was watching CNN this morning (I am deployed to Iraq and am at the mercy of programming on the Armed Forces Network) and sat through liberal commenter after liberal commenter urging Obama to distance himself from Wright. Wouldn’t the more prudent time for distance have been when he first heard the utterance of hate? How could distance now be seen as anything other than political maneuvering? Are liberals really this short-sighted to believe that anything said now by Obama to create distance would make it alright that he listened to this filth for 20 years AND subjected his young daughters to this bile?

When Wright, a so-called Christian minister, was asked if Jesus was the only way to salvation (Just for the record, Jesus said He was), Wright replied with “Jesus said I have other sheep not of this fold.” That’s a misrepresentation of John 10:16 which says,
Notice Jesus said He would bring all of them to one fold under one Shepherd. How convenient Wright left that part out. I just want folks to know the whole truth. And if you only tell a half-truth like Wright does that’s the same as a lie.

So my question is, how could somebody as sharp and intelligent as Wright preach a false gospel like black liberation theology? I guess he’s one of the ones Paul talked about being given over to strong delusions. And this BLT certainly “tickles” the ears of his listeners and himself. Paul also says they will raise up false teachers for themselves that will preach what they want to hear. Sometimes God will give you what you want.

Earlier I posted that Wright would be “purring like a fluffy kitten” until the fall, Under the assumption that he supported Obummer. I stand corrected. Wright supports himself.
