<blockquote>I criticize pretty frankly, but I do not use personal insults against you or MM. I do not offer characterizations of your state of knowledge or motives.</blockquote>

No, you just agree with the exact words of liberals that DO use personal insults.

After all, there's plenty and to spare, so why should you stick out your neck and start being shrill, right?

Isn't there some rule against foriegn campaign contribution?

Also, if this was a Republican (hopefully, a reasonable man wouldn't be so stupid), I bet he would get fined for littering..

Finally, in 1979, Waters proclaimed himself insane to the world (in a very entertaining way). Once again proving that Democrats (and thier foriegn supporters) are nuts.

Sorry, but I cannot relate to this thread. I've listened to my 7th-8th grade students' musical tastes for so long, that I'm now attuned to non-offensive acts like the WeeBeeboys (a parody rap/hip-hop act) who, according to one of my students, are "totally awesome!"

Politician on the loose!

A school-bus sized swine that hovered over the crowd Sunday night while Roger Waters played a version of “Sheep” from 1977’s capitalism critique “Animals” has flown the coop.

A $10,000 reward plus four Coachella tickets for life is being offered for the return of <strike>their pig</strike> Jack Murtha, according to Marcee Rondan, spokeswoman for Coachella Music and Arts Festival promoter Goldenvoice.

It's not just Roger Waters.

Gordon Brown was visiting the US at the same the Pope was, and he gave a speech at Harvard where he said that the US needs a new "Declaration of InterDependence". You all know what that means.

Phyllis Schlafly wrote a great article on it:

"...Brown rejected the traditional concept of national sovereignty, which means an independent nation not subservient to outside control, telling Americans to replace it with "responsible sovereignty," which he defined as accepting what he calls our global "obligations." Hold on to your pocketbook.

Brown admitted that his "main argument" is that the United States must accept "new global rules," "new global institutions" and "global networks." Brown's global rules include massive U.S. cash handouts and opening U.S. borders to the world.

Brown's use of well-known American political phrases was tacky. He tried to morph Franklin D. Roosevelt's New Deal into a "New Global Deal," and JFK's New Frontier into "the New Frontier is that there is no frontier."

Brown even slipped in an attempt at thought control: "Americans must learn to think inter-continentally." He declaimed, "We are all internationalists now."

Using the rhetorical device of inevitability, Brown warned Americans that his vision of the globalist future is "irreversible transformation." He wants to "transcend states" and "transcend borders" as he builds the "architecture of a global society."

Brown peddled the nonsense that the peoples of the world "subscribe to similar ideals." He tried to tell Americans that all religions (Christians, Jews, Muslims, Hindus, Sikhs and Buddhists) have "common values" and "similar ideals."

The Brits are so democratic. They want to ensure that everyone shares equally in socialist misery.

God help us. And we ought to send them packing like we did in 1776.
