Look who’s “counseling” Obama and Wright

By Michelle Malkin  •  April 30, 2008 11:43 AM

You’ll recall the name Michael Pfleger. He’s, you know, the white Jeremiah Wright.

Now, it appears the radical, hate-preaching Pfleger is playing therapist and go-between for newly-divorced couple Barack Obama and Jeremiah Wright.

Seriously.

You almost can’t parody this mess.

But Iowahawk can and does so again brilliantly with “Advice for the Lovelorn.”

Can this campaign be saved?

Sure it can, by the MSM and other apologists. Even O’Reilly keeps giving Obama the benefit of the doubt about what Obama did and didn’t know and why Obama didn’t give yesterday’s speech sooner when the Wright hate speech has been around for a year. “None of us believe that Obama believes what Wright says.” Right….he only stayed in the church for 20 years oblivious to the hate being preached and the cheers from the congregation when it was said. Doesn’t say much for Obama’s paying attention to what is going on around him, does it? Sure will make a good president with that kind of observational skill.

All in all, it astounds me. Like one guy said…Obama is the teflon candidate. Nothing seems to be sticking. All Obama’s lies and terrorist buddies doesn’t seem to make any difference to so many voters.

What is wrong with these people?

More & more I’m feeling this is a staged event put up by both Obama & Wright. Wright needed to act the fool so Obama could disown him on prime time. Now the MSN is saying that all this is behind him and spinning it all into a great thing.

    Clipped from a CBSNews article:
“In a New York Times profile of the Obama-Wright relationship in April 2007, Wright himself predicted such a split based on the controversial remarks that were already under some scrutiny. “If Barack gets past the primary, he might have to publicly distance himself from me,” Wright told the paper over a year ago. “I said it to Barack personally, and he said yeah, that might have to happen.”

It was all staged and the country is going to fall for it.

The supers, according to the above article, have no choice. they must vote for Obama, not just because they don’t want to be called racists, but also for the safety of the nation.

The journalist is assuming that all blacks are violent, which is not true. He is writing this possibly to sway supers . Maybe he wants to put the idea in their head that the black community is pointing a gun at their head and forcing them to vote for Barack.

This is wrong on so many levels.

I keep waiting for an American Margaret Thatcher and none are on the horizon. Until there is, I won’t settle for just anyone.

You’re right….apparently, some don’t have any standards. As long as the skin is the right tone, that’s all that matters. Here, all along I thought skin color isn’t what makes the person, what is in their minds and their abilities are what’s important. Silly me. I don’t know why today’s my day to compare real life situations to movie scenes, but seeing Obama revert to type - subbing in one leftist “preacher man” for another - is reminiscent of the exchange between Spock and Kirk during the final space battle in Star Trek II: The Wrath of Khan:

SPOCK: He’s intelligent, but not experienced. His pattern indicates two-dimensional thinking…

KIRK: [Looks at Spock, and smiles].

    - And everybody knows what happens after that.

Obama’s “pattern” is his fondness/weakness for left-wing radicals. He just can’t help himself, probably because they make him feel so comfortable (when even Ted Kennedy can’t get to the left of you in the Senate, that’s saying something).

What remains to be seen is whether McCain can understand the gift he’s been given in this regard, and take advantage of it. The jury’s still out on that question.
