You mean that there is someone left on the planet that actually thinks the State Dept. works for the good of the American public?

Poor misguided soul.

Joseph McCarthy warned America about the State Department being infiltrated by Communists in his famous speech in 1950;

"This is glaringly true in the State Department. There the bright young men who are born with silver spoons in their mouths are the ones who have been most traitorous. . . ."

"I have here in my hand a list of 205 . . . a list of names that were made known to the Secretary of State as being members of the Communist Party and who nevertheless are still working and shaping policy in the State Department. . . ."

In his letter to President Truman he stated;

"While the records are not available to me, I know absolutely of one group of approximately 300 certified to the Secretary for discharge because of communism. He actually only discharged approximately 80. I understand that this was done after lengthy consultation with the now-convicted traitor, Alger Hiss. I would suggest, therefore, Mr. President, that you simply pick up your phone and ask Mr. Acheson how many of those whom your board had labeled as dangerous Communists he failed to discharge. The day the House Un-American Activities Committee exposed Alger Hiss as an important link in an international Communist spy ring you signed an order forbidding the State Department’s giving any information in regard to the disloyalty or the communistic connections of anyone in that Department to the Congress."

"Failure on your part will label the Democratic Party of being the bedfellow of international communism. Certainly this label is not deserved by the hundreds of thousands of loyal American Democrats throughout the Nation, and by the sizable number of able loyal Democrats in both the Senate and the House."

Sadly, nothing has changed at the State Department. It is still infested with communists that continue to aid and abet traitors that undermine our sovereignty.

As Heather Mac Donald points out, there are 47 Mexican Consulates in the USA and the number keeps increasing every year. The purpose of these consulates are to issue fake ID’s (matricula consular card) to illegal immigrants, interference with our immigration laws, and to encourage illegal immigration from Mexico to the USA.

Mexico is invading our country without a shot being fired and our own State Department is helping them to achieve their goal of Reconquista.

Having only been posting a few time here, a newbie am I. (My wife is curious to know why I'm glued to the monitor these last few weeks). It is obvious there are a lot of people very upset with being ignored by the very people we put into office. I'm not ready to haul off to another country right yet, but it will be an option when we give our country away to just anyone who has the balls to walk up and take it from us. There is comfort knowing that many of us are not willing to let that happen. Thanks for the invite, wartip. keep the beer cold, and the home fires burning.

I live in the Philippines now Cicero. I was looking at going to China but I think I will stay here. I did move up closer to Manila this week but it is still very nice. The sad thing is that I came here at least partially so I could become more politically apathetic. Unfortunately, the politicians keep on acting with such blatant disregard and disdain for We the People that apathy is not something I am capable of any more it would seem.

If you get back to the Philippines, let me know. I may not have the nicest home in town but the beer is cold and the food is good.

Just my thoughts.

War tip's story, #4 is both too funny, yet a sad and in fact racist story. That the Mexican government has so much contempt for Americans. We are not hated in every country...I had a last minute flight to the Philippines and the consulate in Chicago issued my 59 visa, expressed mailed it to me all in three days...

It is up to the State Department to start assuring Idahoans that a Mexican consulate will not be used to provide aid and comfort to people who are here in willful violation of our nation’s laws,” said Sali.

I can’t thank Bill Salli enough for raising the BS flag on this one. A Mexican consulate in Boise will NOT be tolerated very well by the legal citizens of Idaho. I am only 50 miles away from Boise and the climate in our community is not very friendly for the illegal invaders of our city, county, state, and country. I will be sending a thank you to Mr. Salli today and a “what the hell” letter to Congressman Simpson (I still am not happy with him crossing the aisle on S-CHIP), my two Senators (Crapo gets it on illegal invasion, wide stance Craig never will), and Governor Otter’s office.

Thanks for the heads up Michelle! I will be getting the word out to my friends and neighbors in Idaho. Without the new media this attempt at establishing a headquarters for the fifth column from Mexico would have gone under the radar. I seriously doubt the local media would say peep about this until it was already operational.

On May 1st, 2008 at 6:19 am, Dandapani said: The question MM states is a good one: Which country does the US State Department serve?! Because it is always at odds with the rest of the government.

I think I would have to respectfully disagree. Looking at congress, our candidates and the direction this nation is heading, I think ALL of the government is working towards the same dreadful end. Unfortunately, I do not think it is with the life or liberty of the American citizens in mind wherever they are taking us.

It has been distressing to realize, guess I am slow, that the State Department and for that matter all Federal Agencies do not work for the Chief Executive. They are unelected officials that have significant influence in our liver and are only marginally accountable.

Consulates are needed wherever a fast-food restaurant is located.
Press 1 for a burger.
Press 2 for fries.

Former jobs of American teens that, hopefully, taught them a good work ethic.

Go Mr. Sali! Good luck to you.
